Is this a bug? It keeps happening on my version of photoshop (which is up to date right now) and I have to hide the ruler in order to get it to go away. How do I fix this?

For the past couple of days, whenever I try to save to PDF, I get the following error message if I uncheck "Preserve photoshop editing capabilities": The Adobe Photoshop document has not been saved completely because the current file format does not support all the features of your document. Would you like to save the document in a format that supports all its features? The file seems to save, even though I do get this error message when I try to close the file. I'm not sure if this will cause the file to be corrupted or something? I've been saving files to pdf almost daily for many years and this is the first time I've seen this error message. I have not changed any settings. I just updated photoshop to the latest version. Perhaps this is what has caused this?

Hmm, that's a very interesting point! I transferred the pdf back over to the ipad and opened it in Acrobat. The image is not displaying correcting on the ipad either, unfortunately.

Hello, Thanks for your response. There are no masking or adjustment layers used on this drawing. This is actually the first time I've created a vector drawing in Fresco and attempted to save to pdf. I don't think it could be a brightness/contrast setting, because I can view the screenshot from the ipad on my computer and it doesn't get darker. Very frustrating... All that time spent drawing this and I feel like I will never be able to take it off my ipad unless I figure this out 😕

I've created a vector drawing in Adobe Fresco on my ipad. When viewing on the ipad, the lines are very fine and look exactly as I want them to. I exported as a pdf and sent the file to my computer. When viewing this same file on Adobe Acrobat Pro and Illustrator, the artwork looks very dark. It's as if my line work got thicker in the process or something. I have tried sizing the artwork on my computer exactly to the size on the ipad and the two drawings look very different. You can see in the screen shot examples attached. What is happening here? How can I fix this?

Hello there. I have such headaches when it comes to fonts. I have tried using Suitcase Fusion (long ago) and RightFont to manage my fonts. Both of them have been glitchy and very hard to use and need constant upkeep and troubleshooting. Right now, I'm using Rightfont and it's terrible. I need to find a new font manager, but not sure where to turn. I liked how Rightfont automatically activated any fonts in my Adobe programs whenever I opened a document without me having to manually turn them on. I'd love one that does that. Everyone seems to use Suitcase Fusion. I have an Apple computer, btw. Perhaps it has improved over the past 5 or so years since I've used it? I'd love to hear what other mac users use and have success with... Thanks!

Hmmm... I wonder if those are the only options. It seems there must be a prefernces setting somewhere. Going into isolation mode or locking all other layers each time seems a bit time consuming, but that I what I'll have to do for now! Thanks for your ideas! 😄

I have a file with many layers of pen tools drawings. When I have a path selected, I expect only that path to be editable by my pen tool. But instead, Illustrator detects deselected paths below and adds onto those paths. There must be some sort of setting to turn off here? It's driving me crazy... Thanks!

I have a 20 page document that I've been editing in InDesign. I tried to export to pdf, but the background task of exporting is stuck and has been trying to export for a couple of hours now. I attempted to cancel the background task, but now it's just stuck on "canceling". I need to save this file that I'm working on and restart InDesign, but I get an error message that I can't quit while background tasks are going. I could force quit, but I'm scared I'll lose some of the work that I've been doing. What should I do to save and fix this issue?? Thanks for your wisdom and advice!! - Sarah

I keep trying to save documents on Illustrator or Photoshop on my desktop computer to the cloud to access them in Adobe Fresco on my ipad. I'm able to make a new folder and save that, but once I look in the folder in the Fresco app, I can't see any new files. The only files that seem to show up in there are those that are created and saved on my ipad. I've tried logging out of my account and back in and that didn't fix it. I've tried downloading the files to my ipad, but there's no way to open them from fresco. I've tried dropping them into the Creative Cloud Documents folder on my computer, but that didn't have an effect either. Cloud documents are pretty useless to me if I can't access them from another device! 😞 I hope someone can help... thanks!

I've created a few projects and files in Adobe Draw, which I'd like to open in Photoshop for iPad.
However, whenever I look at my Adobe Draw cloud files, there is nothing there. I've tried restarting the PS app as well as reinstalling it on the iPad.
I'm on a 6th gen iPad running 13.5.1 system software.

I had this problem on a mac. I just had to update everything in the wacom desktop center and restart my computer and it started working fine again.

It's not just happening with text, I am realizing. Pretty much anything that I resize with the free transform tool. You can see in the video, that I'm slowly resizing, but the shape is jumping around so much that at the end it jumps right off the page and I can't even get to the shape anymore.

I'm using the latest version of Illustrator CC 2019 on a macbook pro. When I try to resize text, the free transform tool bounces around. It jumps from large to small and I can't control the size of the text... Anyone know what's going on? I've tried restarting the computer, but still got the same issues...

Hmmm, yeah, that might be the issue sometimes. That I'm using a different version of a font. I did have auto-activation set up for InDesign and that was helpful most of the time...

Why is it that my fonts seem to get 'lost' each time I reopen a file in Indesign? One day, I will open up a file that worked just fine earlier and I will get a notification saying that the following fonts can't be found. It will usually be 3 or 4 fonts. I haven't changed anything about the fonts I've used or even restarted my computer most of the time. I'll go through and find/replace them. Then I save and reopen the file the next day and the fonts are once again missing. Any ideas how to stop this? I've always been totally confused about the best way to organize my fonts... I'm using a 2017 Macbook Pro running 10.14.5 I've been just using font book for activating fonts, but I used to use RightFont and Suitcase Fusion. I still had these problems when I used those programs as well. Thanks!

Ah, that must be what happened. I don't use export for screens very often. I usually use save for web and have never had a problem. I used save for web on this logo and sent to the client and the color was fine this time

Did you convert it to sRGB and save the sRGB profile when saving for web? Does the browser support color profiles? Which browser has the screenshot been taken in? No. I don't know if the browser supports this. Using Chrome.

You should make it in RGB colors. If you made it in CMYK, try to convert it to RGB before saving or exporting. Re: Files I sent to my client are uploading to the web as wrong colors I don't agree with that... Logos are meant to be printed and used on screens. I've been designing them in CMYK for many years and have never had a problem.

Designed in CMYK, but Save for Web export in Illustrator would have taken care of converting to RGB, right? Also, the exported jpg file on my screen is the right color...

I just sent my client a package of pngs and jpgs to use for their new logo. They have uploaded their logo to their website, but it is an awful neon color. I'm not sure what might be causing this? Here is how it is supposed to look: Here is how it looks on their site: It is a jpg and when you click on it, it enlarges the logo and displays it in a lightbox. In the lightbox, it is the correct color. Anyone know what's going on here?

Ok, I think that mostly worked! But I still don't know what is happening here: I don't see why this text is still appearing at half the size that it is set to in paragraph styles? There is no + next to the character or paragraph styles, "none" is selected, no overrides to clear... But still the "homepage body text" is 5.61pt when it's actually set to 10pt in the style definition... When stuff like this happens, I don't feel like using styles can be a reliable way to quicken my work flow... Am I still missing something here?
