Ok correction...Your first sentence states you purchased an add-on from Photoshop under a different account. So, did you ask if you could switch or add the add-on to your preferred email account? Also, did you try or answer some of the other suggestions that were given to you?

You purchased an add-on with a different email address and you are trying to use it on the email address you have with Creative Cloud...It could be a licensing issue. Did you try contacting the add-on company to see if they can switch the licence to the correct one?

I found this solution to a similar issue in the forum. See if this helps. In this scenario, they wanted to turn it off. You would just ensure it.is checked.

I agree with all of the advice you were given. The only way is to do what we are famous for and just save and rename it the intended name. Saving is a permanent function so there is no magic undo button for saving. 🙂
