There is not. Ingest > Transcode currently only supports presets that are Match Source for all video parameters. For what you are looking for, you could try batch Export Media. Create an Encoding preset with your desired video and audio settings. Select all of your clips in the Project panel > right-click and choose Export Media. Select your preset and click Queue. Once all clips are encoded in Media Encoder, Make Offline for all clips in Premiere and then Link Media to your encoded clips (via Export Media).

Sorry, Merged Clips and interchange export options (EDL, OMF, AAF, etc.) are not currently supported for Proxy. These limitations are noted towards the bottom of this help doc. Adobe Premiere Pro Help | Ingest and Proxy Workflow in Premiere Pro CC 2015.3

Using Export Media in Premiere or using Media Encoder, the audio is set to a default value and does not attempt to auto-match the source clip's audio. You will need to go to the Audio tab and set your audio settings accordingly. For Ingest, it will attempt to match the source clip's audio channelization. Also note that not all formats will support 8 channel audio. You can check what channels are supported in the Audio tab under Export Settings.

Yes, you will run into link issues with same name Proxies. What I am suggesting as a possible alternative is to use Ingest > Transcode for an intermediate workflow and not a Proxy workflow. e.g.: Enable Ingest and set to Transcode and select a Preset that works for you. Import all of your clips. Once the Ingest process is complete, all clips will be replaced with the transcoded clips. Once you are ready to go back to the originals, Make Offline for all the transcoded clips and then Link Media to your original clips.

Kevin is correct. _Proxy is required for the linking functionality. If you are open to an intermediate workflow, you could try using Ingest > Transcode.

The File Rename options are not currently supported for Proxies. Any changes for File Rename (in Ingest Preset Settings) will be ignored and the Proxy file name will always be inherited from the source/Full Res file. This limitation is mentioned in one of the help documents. Adobe Premiere Pro Help | Ingest and Proxy Workflow in Premiere Pro CC 2015.3 To use File Metadata and File Rename You can add file metadata to files that are being transcoded or to new proxies, and you can rename files on ingest when copying or transcoding (the filename of proxies is always inherited from the source file).

Could everyone please try this with the latest NVIDIA drivers? I am no longer able to reproduce this issue with CC 2017 (or 2017.0.1) on Windows 10 using Quadro 5000 with 375.63 drivers. Another team member was also not able to reproduce on an M6000 with 375.63 drivers. Thank you.

Warp Stabilizer is among the special-case analysis effects that will display the Full Res (ignoring Toggle Proxies). There is a note of this in one of the Help docs. Adobe Premiere Pro Help | Ingest and Proxy Workflow in Premiere Pro CC 2015.3 When you render Previews, Export Media or use certain Analysis effects (Warp Stabilizer, Rolling Shutter Repair, Morph Cut), Premiere Pro always uses and displays Full Res, regardless of the Toggle/Enable Proxies setting. The only exception is when you have Offline Full Res, but Proxy is Online, then Proxy is used. The current possible workarounds are to Offline your Full Res clips or disable Warp Stabilizer in the Effect Controls tab.

Hmm, you could try uninstalling CC 2105, then CC 2017 should be forced into the "Keep using this app" Or, if it's acceptable, you could just launch CC 2017 and choose Open Project, then select your CC 2015 Project.

If you right-click the Project file on disk, then choose Open with..., choose Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017.0 and then click the option at bottom, "Always use this app to open .prproj files". Does this work for you?

Projects are not backwards compatible, so this warning is provided. You can continue to use your CC 2017 Projects in CC 2017, but they cannot be opened in CC 2015. You could try exporting as XML in CC 2017 and open that XML in CC 2015. Depending on the complexity of your Project, this may o may not be viable for you.

It does appear that media is required. I believe this is why we could not reproduce with the supplied Projects, as all media required relink (Offline). I think I have a repro case (using media and switching users on same system) for the engineers to investigate. Thank you. If changing ownership is not possible, one possible workaround (as user that can open the Project) is to make all media Offline and save the Project. On my systems, this would allow the Project to be opened when logged in as a different user and then select all media in the Project and Link Media.

This is an issue under investigation and understand your frustration. Mouse scrolling will still work when the scroll bar is missing and as Geoff mentioned, resizing the Project panel will bring back the vertical scroll bar.

You can manually import them by going to Preset Browser in Media Encoder, click Import Presets button and group select all your presets (or go to Preset menu > Import and group select presets). They will then be added to the User Presets & Groups list.

Partial Ingest is not currently supported in Premiere Pro. As you have already noted, it is possible in Prelude and Media Encoder, however.
