Uninstall is a Windows thing. Its really not needed on the Mac. Simply drag the Photoshop beta folder to the Trash. If you want, you can also manually delete the beta folders in /Library/Application Support/Adobe and the user Library folder.

Oh and actually, AVIF, JPEG XL, and HEIC are all better technically than webP. WebP would probably be the last format of those I would choose after JPEG and PNG. Just saying.

Photoshop is a complex, professional tool. So yeah lots of capabilites might be "hidden" or difficult to find. Luckily, Photoshop is one of the two most documented applications available, Microsoft Excel being the other. There are thousands of tutorials, websites, videos, help pages, etc available online to assist you.

When you search, all of the found keywords are highlighted. Selecting one and then appying it just takes you back into the search where it goes to the first item found. No idea if this is by design but it appears to be.

32GB of RAM maybe? And iOS is for iPhones, an iMac has macOS. Lightroom and Photoshop are compatible with Sequoia but there are some issues with SMB (Windows) servers, I am seeing them when using Free File Sync which worked perfectly on Sonoma and now has intermittent errors and timeouts with Sequoia. Are you working off your local drive, network, ?

I write all changes to XMP, and of course any changes to files with internal metadata are already in the files. The OP would lose collections and such but not core file data. There is not AFAIK any file checksum or other data written to the database, this would take forever and use a huge amount of disk space. OP, I guess it depends on what you mean by processed photos. Are these RAW files? DNGs? PSD files? What kind of processing? Do you have a backup (Time Machine maybe?) with the original files?

You may need to use a script or EXIFTool to extract the millisecond data and write it to another XMP field where it can be used. I realize this just adds complexity but if its properly scripted can be fairly painless. I have some data handled this way since I use Bridge for image processing in production and need things automated as much as possible.

Adobe has a number of shared plug-in locations, I suspect this was a known issue with an older beta installation. A truly clean removal includes deleting the /Library/Application Support/Adobe folder and the same folder in your user Library.

Do you have external drives that you use for scratch disks? Are all third-party plugins totally removed? Are you getting a crash report, either from Apple or Adobe? That might shed some light on things. I suppose you could also try running Photoshop under Rosetta to see if it still crashes.

This is a known issue, there was apparently a buggy GPU driver in an Apple system update. I have seen it but not recently, and its unclear whether this has been fixed in macOS Sequoia.

I am not seeing this particular problem. I still use Bridge 12 for production because in my testing, Bridge 14/15 is unusable for even moderate numbers of files. I was working on several thousand images at once and couldn't even scroll the content window, it was so bad with the stutters and beachballs. So you may need to be patient and wait for Bridge to process operations if you have more than a small number of images showing. I do recommend updating macOS to either 14.7 or the new Sequoia 15.0 release.

Neither Apple not Adobe are supporting Sierra as it is very old. Your comment about the computer not working with a newer OS version makes no sense. Your computer will run Big Sur which is also unsupported but a lot newer and more secure. As for needing to purchase a new computer, well, yes, you probably do. Even an M1 MacBook Air (with 16GB of RAM) would run circles around your computer and be supported.
