When I select something and fill it with a color photoshop also mades 'fade area' which I do not want.

I tried with illustrator image trace to clean the image, yes. If the best workflow is: PS select pixels> PS threshold to blacken> PS cleaning (what is best way to clean)> AI image trace to clean up odd dots and fading pen strokes of original image My main goal now (after threshold) is to clean up the image to make it as iconic-like as possible, without using PS or AI lines or tracing it manually; basically, I am trying to get a clean sketch, yes, true.

Pixaloop is an app on the iPhone which supports visualizing still images to moving images. Does Photoshop has similar software features like Photoshop or does another Adobe software tool do? Thanks in advance for your response.

Oh sorry, so, I have an heightmap in grayscale. In order to use my heightmap in a software program I need to max out the black and white values to let the software know what the highest point of the map is and what the lowest point of the map is. I need 'max out' the gray colors; 'extend them to' a max black and white values. So, I will create a grayscale image with a max black and white color in it.

I think I have done it. The trick is to use 'actions:' select (A) > select same appearance > offset negative > ctrl+x > select all (disable all other layers first beforehand these actions) > clear > ctrl+f > pathfinder > offset positive > ctrl+x > select all > clear > ctrl+f Like for example a pattern with dots or other object-forms, you can eliminate duplicate objects that lay on top of each other. Oh yeah, expand and ungroup the pattern first before 'select (A).'

Thank you for your response. Hmmm.. I think I made myself a difficult task. For example, I want to scale down a triangle from the center; but it seems not possible to record that kind of action. Maybe copy and rotate the triangle two times; one to -45 and one to +45 or something; then scale it down; and then remove the copies. I do not know how to do that.
