This is easily fixable.
Have a look at how I set mine up on a seperate SSD and it NEVER moves:
As you can see the scratch SSD houses all my applications scratch folders.
The only time I have ever had Premiere's cache or cache database move back to default location was on a big update or when I reinstalled. Besides that it has remained fixed.
After each run I ensure I clean the cache build. up from within PP.
Once a project is completed I use the Project Manager to tidy up everything into one main folder, archive it and then go in and manually delete remnant files off teh Scratch disk

This is really odd especially if you have tried the various options as stated.
The most important aspect seems to have been overlooked:
What are the codecs and resolutions of your footage?
Can you send us a scrrenshot of the different media types tou are importing?
Besides the media being corrupt I cannot seem to find a reasonable explanation for this sort of behaviour.
That being said an i5 is about sufficient but not as strong as an i7.
Your RAM is sufficient but you could do with a lttle more.
GPU is fine with 8 gigs.

Hi guys. This new interface feels a little colorful for starters lol. As Rick pointed out it feels a tad "sticky" and lots of options seem to be missing. I particularly miss the "Mark as helpful" option. Where is The Lounge gone?
It is far more responsibe and loads quicker than Jive but for now thats the only positive I have.
I truly hope our comments will be used to imptove this platform to a level that allows us to comfortably assist others and nt deter us from this

You will need to disable the visibility of that layer bef0re rendering
In C4D as an example you have the "traffic lights" that allow seeing the object but not rendering.
There isn't a function like this in PP.
You will need to manualy do this before u render out

Hi You will need to understand the fundamentals of keyframes to achieve this. Put simply a keyframe is a given property value at a point in time. As an example let us say you want the image to scale up at 13seconds for 2 seconds You would bring in the image at 13s and then use the effects window in PP and change the scale value over time For what your are trying to achieve it is really easy but I highly recommend you learn the basics before continuing Mo

This is why effects are done in After Effects and not Premiere Premieres engine is NIT built for effects so you will almost ALWAYS get choppy playback when you use them...unless U take out a 2nd mortgage or sell all your belongings and buy this

Thomas as Kevin mentioned, those keyframes are set so far apart its almost like you are getting stop motion type animation. This is the same in Premiere Pro when you slow down a clips speed/duration to something as low as 30%. Get those keyframes closer together to get some sort of "normal speed" Mo

Check your camera is set to one or 2 node This makes a huge difference. So basically when you create a new camera you will see the option 2 choose a single or 2 node camera This camera option affects all 3D layers in a dramatic way. Try 2 node. Should solve your issues Mo
