I don't get it: you can drop a file on the correct App icon, or simply use File/Open in InDesign to open the correct files. I never ever double click on a document to open it, so 1990's... 🙃

Well, Articles in InDesign is mainly used for ePub creation but can be used for tag order when you export to PDF and(!) have ticked the option in the Articles fly out menu.

Articles in PDF are used for Accessibility tags and tag order, even then you have to tick' Use for PDF order' in the fly out menu in the Articles pane 😉

I disagree a bit here: advice here is for now, <P> as the title is not really a heading, you don't list the Title in a TOC nor bookmarks and the Title is set as part of the PDF which can be called and read... But this is an ongoing debate between two groups I know 😉

https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/hub/what-is-an-accessible-pdf.html#:~:text=Accessible%20PDFs%20ensure%20the%20text,descriptive%20hyperlinks%20for%20easy%20navigation. An accessible pdf complies to WCAG/508 for people with a disability, like bad sight or even blind. A tagged PDF helps with that but you need to do more with that tag or code.
There we see the same problem with the auto generated TOC; it always goes to the start of the page and shows it fit, zo zoom level changes.
That was you problem as well.
Although the script was developed for Accessibility in InDesign and PDF, it does what you want; Zoom will stay the same as set ('inherit zoom') and it will go the relevant Title/chapter/heading on that page instead to the top of the page.

Yes, that is how InDesign handles it. Problem for Accessible PDF. It is about the value 'inherrit Zoom' not being set and the TOC link is always a page link. Sad but true. Peter Kahrel has a InDesign script (developed for Accessible PDF) that can solve this:

Grep for Acronyms:
(?<=\W)\u\u+(?=\W)
if you use this in a Paragraph style you can even apply a character style on your acronym with specific formatting.

Nope. I'm in an environment where I am not allowed to connect during some sessions, and have no cloud-services running anyway. Does NOT make any difference. So it is not that...

Oke, it looked more to me like you were confusing left to right/right to left writing with left or right alignment, two totaly different things. For right to left writing you need the ME version of InDesign as pointed out by others.

It is not in the Cell/Table settings but in the Paragraph settings for the text in the table, look at Paragraph style (or settings for the Paragraph if you did not use styles - you should)

Haven not tested it myself, so no idea if it would show as ootion in InDesign nor if it would tag correctly, but maybe give it a try:

Yes: set the main language in the Export PDF, Advanced, using the character style on parts that are different in a paragraph and usually a Paragraph style for complete paragraphs in another than the main language. It is indeed correct that you see this in the tag properties under the Content tag not the Tag tab, and it is an abbreviation (et).

This is not Adobe, this is users helping other users. That said: do you have a Paragraph style that you applied that is part of the table (so it is in a row, a cell) that you added to the list to auto generate?

What Cloud based storage do you mean Mike? I'm not using Adobe font sync nor any other online service like Dropbox. Another suggestion was making sure there is no Document fonts folders present in the directory of the indd document like when packaged, sadly that did not work for me...
