None of the above. InDesign has a few grouping tags, but not Part. The rest of the tags is not supported, but you can always Role map them to Paragraph styles in Acrobat ( but not to Character styles, so you can Role map to BlockQuote but not Quote...).

You mention inserting gif but then you say you inserted a .mov. ? A .mov is not a gif, so I am a bit confused what you are asking now. Anyway, a .mov will not work in a pdf, a gif should work but not in every pdf reader out there. My advice, and Bob Levine will second this, forget 'interactive pdf' for this kind of stuff as 90% will not work. Use Publish online instead when you really want this interactivity.

What do you mean by "The 'Index' option is missing from Find/Change"? There was never such option. Can you place a screenshot of what you think you miss? This is not how it works to artifact an image correctly. See the middle tab 'Tagged PDF'? There you select 'Artifact' (apply tag). (In the tags tree in Acrobat you will not find a tag 'Artifact' by the way, for that look under the Contents pane in Acrobat for the containers.)

Looks more like a placed InDesign file that needs to be updated (yellow is 'out of date' not 'missing'). Did you try 'update all links' (not relink) from the fly-out menu in the Links panel?.

I create Accessible PDF's with anchored items all the time and all my Alt Text shows just fine. You should learn the options, if you simply know how, then they are amazing flexible in use.
