Dang. Since LRCC iOS v4.0 on my iPad(s) and iPhone I have had the following problem. Whenever I press the “Filter” icon LRCC freezes for over one minute. I have tried just about everything to resolve this. Deleted and reinstalled LRCC. A clean install of iOS, no help. I purchased a new 11” iPad Pro, I set it up as a new device, not restoring from iCloud. THe first and only app I installed was LRCC. No help. I have just over 24,000 photos in LRCC. When I search an album containing a few hundred photos, LRCC is fast and the filtering is immediate. Note, before I installed v4.0 I did not have this issue. LRCC was very fast The most frustrating thing is Adobe support. I have chatted with them many times. I have send many videos and diagnostic logs. Adobe has only contacted me one requesting yet another diagnostic log. My case was escalated but yet, I hear nothing. And today, another chat and a not so reassuring response: “Koushtav Dutta: Okay I understand so I will inform this to the senior level team and ask them to recheck there details.” Dang Monty

I have been communicating with Adobe support. I received an email asking for a “logs/feedback file“ I was told to press and hold the LR logo in the upper left of my screen. I do not have a logo in the upper left. I contacted Adobe through a chat, After 30 minutes without an answer I was disconnected. I am hoping someone here can help speed things along (it has been a week without resolution). Does anyone know how to generate a logs/feedback fille? iOS 12.01 LRCC v4.0.0 E605D9 THanks Monty

I migrated to LRCC shortly after it was released, about a year ago. At that time, in CLassic I had 59 people detected by face recognition. In Classic I had renamed the groups of people. Shortly after the migration, I made the switch to LRCC. Classic has been deleted long ago. Monday I updated my iPad. The odd thing I am seeing is the 59 groups of people that were in Classic. No new face groups have been detected and no new photos were added to the existing groups. Monty

I have the update. It has a bunch of entries in the People Section. I believe the people form my LR Classic migration On my iPad or iPhone, how do I create new “people” in the people group? How do I add people to the correct group? THanks I don’t see a way to add people using my iMac either...

As I’m sure you know, menus can be put on either side of the iPad screen. Being right handed I typically have them on the right side. I'm now left handed and the menus are on the left! LRCC Rules! Thanks Monty

I use a 10.5 iPad Pro 99% of the time. I have an X100F and do not shoot RAW so I cannot speak to that issue. My work flow is to import the photos to Apple Photos, then into LRCC. After the inmport into LRCC the next thing I do is delete the photos from Apple Photos. There is a folder in Apple Photos called “Last Import”. The imported photos can easily be deleted there. WWDC is June 4th. Apple will announce OS updates. My one wish for WWDC is that Apple opens up access to attached devices. I’d love to be able to import directly LRCC I hope this helps a little! Monty

IN the settings, under sharing options, be sure you have include metdata selected. I have LRCC installed on an iMac, iPad and two iPhones. I’m sure there is a limit to the number of devices you can have LRCC installed, but I have not hit it I hope this helps... Monty

I am using a 10.5 iPad Pro. I shoot jpg. No performance issues. The iPad is very fast. Be aware that at this point Apple does not allow direct access to a connected USB drive or SD card. Photos on my connected SD card are imported into Apple Photos. From there the photos can be imported into LRCC. I hope that changes in iOS 12. I would love LR to be able to impout directly from my SD card Monty

In my opinion, having all photographs everywhere is the beauty of LRCC. I do not want to have a different collection of photos on my phone than I do on the iPad or Mac. Many times I am sitting at a coffee bar with friends and a topic wil arise, “Remember when we...”. Seconds later I have searched LRCC and present a photos of the event. It has been a long time since I have been as excited about a program as I am with LRCC. “Who is the genius....”. The last thing I want to do is to wonder if “that photo” has been deleted on this device or that device. What a maniagement nightmare that would be. One catalogue, one set of photographs everywhere. Thank you Adobe, Monty PS, now, when is that next update coming?
