Update, There was a meaty update from Windows 10 coming down which may / may not have interfered with the connection to Adobe. Shut down, took 10 mins to apply. Rebooted and now ok. I'd still like Adobe to offer some form of Offline Grace period following an authentication. Even 48 hours would be enough for those who have to quickly jump on to to Suite but maybe dont have Internet access.

Hi World,
Is it just me or is anyone else getting booted out of Premiere the first time they hit Send To Encoder? Since the last update this happens the first time. Then if I keep encoder open and then re-open Premiere any further STE requests are fine.

Hi World, Bit of a weird thing that's making colour adjustments tricky. When I;m in a different app, chrome whatever the image looks fine / smaller. When I go back into Premiere it goes full screen, fine, but the colours blow out; Any ideas why? And how to solve please? Cheers

Hello World, I'm doing a stage show project that has a loooooooooooooooooottt of audios that need to be clipped and then Constant Power 'ed into. It'd be amazing if the Default Transition I've set here actually worked when I click on an audio track. The tracks are unlinked so it is definately just the audio I'm working on at this point but unlike with the video track if I do Ctrl+D I dont get that little beige box of goodness. I'm having to switch panels to drag+drop it in. Every, single, time! Any ideas please? Cheers, Lu

POSSIBLE SOLUTION: Hi, I called up Adobe tech support, dude said to download the Beta for Prem Pro so I did. Initially the behaviour was the same. Then I removed the footage/source from Media Browser, re-imported it. Dragged it in to existing healthy seq, no change. However I then did Create New Sequence from clip, all 4 channels are available. Cut+Paste into healthy seq now all fine. Dude on the phone said that Sony MXF files are known to be problematic with video not the right colour or the audio to be hit + miss as with mine. But now I'm ok so thought I'd feed this back to the Community and hope it helps someone else in the future. Cheers to adobe Tech Support for the assist! Peace!

Good Afternoon Richard, Taking a look at your suggestions now. If I go to add 0122 to the existing "healthy" sequence with those 4 channels patched it still throws only one channel A5 into the project. Whats interesting is that if I try to bring in 0121 in a 2nd time that also gets thrown down to A5 . Which begs the question of what I did (seemingly by fluke) to get A1-4 populated!??!!?

HELP: Sony FX7 and MXF question: I filmed a show last weekend and I can't work out what I did differently in Premiere with the first half video clip and the 2nd to get the sound channels to split like the picture. Left hand 0121 is the 1st half -super, smashing great, the right 0122 clip is the 2nd half. How the Jiminy Crickett do I get the 4 channels out of the 2nd half as I did the first?!?!

Hi All, I opened up a 360 pano image the other day and a popup appeared on my screen advising that several - basically all - features of 360 and panoramic editing was going to be phased out of PhotoShop. I clicked through and it was something to do with the 360 engine no longer being supported or some thing. Well, for me, PhotoShop is actually doing realy fine with 360 and meets my needs perfectly. So imagine my disappointment when I go to my CC app to look into "Substance" and see the options of "Try me" and "Buy me". Why aren't these in my CC package already? I can't help but feel Adobe are forcing me to buy into a new software by deliberately deprecating a working feature in another of its flagship products. I've been a loyal Adobe user for probably a decade plus by now and whilst I'm not going to quit Adobe for something else I still wanted to register my concern somewhere. Anyone else feeling the same here? #360 #panoramic #substance

Hey @Richard van den Boogaard , have just run latest NVidia update just now, there was an update. Checked again but nothing now pending. Have also just done Alt+Click to reset prefs. Hmmm, does appear to be snappier already. I wonder if the preferences had just gotten all gunked up? I'll take that as the fix for now. Cheers!

Ever since applying the latest upgrade the Text tool seems to be really fussy as to when I can/can't put a new simple bit of text on a project. Like I need to click elsewhere in the timeline, cycle tools then MAYBE Text will work. Anyone else getting this irratic behaviour with Text since the latest update? Used to be first time , every time and the ONLY change here is the fact I applied an update.

This has worked for me. Renamed the folder to LogiOptionAdobeDEAD just in case it needs to go back for some reason. Such a shame its buggy as I bet it could do some great stuff in Premiere.

Ok, update! Workaround rather than a solution here. Going to go detailed here just in case somewhere in the world someone else has the same issue. Footage was filmed on a Sony HXE2500E . I used the DirectCopy function to extract the SD card's contents onto another SD card using a USB card reader. Took ages, possibly where/how the suspected corruption occured. Now, I tried this again but it seems you can only DirectCopy once as the files on the card get marked as such so you cant DC onto different cards/USB drives etc. Which is a bit pony really, dont know why that would be setup as such. Tried various apps, renames, extension changes, Handbrake, Shutter Encoder, nothing worked. Workaround was to use my ElGato 60 capture USB "card", playback the footage in real time and capture it to my PC. Then I'll bring it into Premiere and clip it up. So not an ideal solution but it gets me out of a hole and hopefully someone else in the future. I'll now run diags on my SD cards to see if they're failing / risk of failure. Hope this helps someone. Hey @Ann Bens , thanks for the reply. Weird that only some are exhibiting this behaviour. And good shout on the formatting of cards, I always do it from the camera out of habit more than anything else. I re-do a direct-copy and see if second time around does better.

Good Morning all, Filmed a boxing gig the other night. Went to import the footage and initially the SD card wasnt being picked up by Windows. I did a DirectCopy out of my camera to a USB pen and the files have come accross. Well, I say that because for some reason the last few files dont appear to thumbnail up. They playback on the camera fine. I may have to do a realtime capture via ElGato device to pull these out. Not ideal but whatever. These vids also give issues in Premiere in that the top 40 clips go into my bin fine but these last 8 came up with this error; Which is actually different to what it was saying at 2am last night!! Super. The error I was initially getting was "the file cannot be opened because it is under rights management" . Which I've never seen before and theres no reason for this as the filming methods were the same throughout the night. I'd LOVE your ideas how to resolve these last eight please. Thanks in advance, Lu

Good Morning! I've searched around in here but not seeing anything recent on this topic. My scenario is that I've been sent a project that was done in Final Cut Pro and exported into an FXPXML file. I bring this into Resolve. I go to export from Resolve and use XML as per a YouTube video and I dont get any timeline available to me. I get this Translation Issue alert but no timeline to work on. I'm awaiting the videos to link (135gb worth from the client) but even with those absent I should have a timeline to play with in Premiere. I've also tried with the AAF export and get even lower "success" in PP. I'd massively appreciate your ideas on how to do this please? Hello World, I recently picked up an R.A.T. 9 mouse hoping the thumbscroller and other shortcut buttons would make for easier timeline navigation but alas it doesnt respond. Most likely because as it works out Mad-Catz dont offer the customisation software for the R.A.T. 9 - but do other models. I tried these softwares but they dont work. At all! So I ask the Community what computer mice - and keyboard as we're at it (see below) - they have great results with please. Links absolutley welcome. Re: Keyboard - I currently have a RedDragon backlit really quiet (for nightime work) which is great but doesnt have a button for [\] which would of course show the entire timeline so instead I have to get the mouse, scroll and double click the grey bars. I've watched several YouTube reviews but I'd much rather recommendations from Premiere users first hand please. Thanks loads in advance, Lu
