Hi, I'm quite certain I went through all the tabs & drop downs on there. Even though I've got a massive screen I still have to scroll something chronic throughout Premier for a lot of features and settings. Where does it show on your system please?

Hello world, Since the latest CC update I don't appear to have the "Video is VR" checkbox available when exporting video. I have a 360 video, have stitched it, imported it. You can pano around with it on Premier via preview button. Export can be 360 but only when you click the 360 icon. Previously it'd automatically go into 360 mode. In YouTube it's not detecting as a 360 video. Has the workflow changed and where can I relearn it for 360 videos please? Many thanks, Lu

Hi Dev, I just saw this on my Facebook feed and it made for interesting reading. TLDR is that compared to other video editing softwares out there Premier is the slowest. Here's the article - https://www.premiumbeat.com/blog/switch-from-premiere-pro/ What's your take on it please? And will steps be taken to speed up Premier? Many thanks from a loyal fan and customer, Lu

FIXED! Shout out to https://community.adobe.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/11976584 for it. Installed DDU , ripped out all things NVIDIA and redid the driver. All good now. The "clean install" from NVid isnt that clean it would seem.

Hi @laural16492265 , it may be listed but I'm having real issues with it when it comes to VR effects. I've created a post about it here. Any ideas you have would be most welcome. https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/this-effect-requires-gpu-acceleration-on-vr-nvidia-geforce-1060-gtx-6gb-on-amd-ryzen-5-1600x/m-p/10959725 Thank you 🙂

Good Morning World, I've been looking at the MANY other threads on this seemingly all too common issue with GPU transitions but not getting any solutions that work. I'm on the latest everything software wise, Windows 10 x64 V1909 Build 18363.657, NVidia driver Version: 442.50 - Released 27 February 2020, Adobe CC all updated, Premiere 14.0.3 Build 1. And of course my General > Rendering is set to the CUDA option. Hardware is AMD Ryzen 5 1600x SIX core proc , 16GB Ram, SSD via RAID1 etc so When I do anything with VR transitions such as the VR Spherical Blur I get the red band of doom. I've run GPUSniffer, rebooted, changed from CUDA to Mercury thing, rebooted, back to CUDA, rebooted, still not able to render anything VR related. Everything else is of course totally fine in Premiere & gaming is l33t so why can't I seem to manage anything VR related on what's marketed as a "VR Ready" gfx card and is a supported card by Adobe's own listings. I'd absolutely welcome your ideas on this one please & thank you loads in advance. It shouldn't be this complicated, should it? Many thanks in advance, Mags

Hi Tim, By chance was this a small image that you've stretched/expanded larger? Because doing so will always generate noise. Always always. You're better off finding a higher resolution version of that image where possible and scaling it down. You can go big to small but small to big is far less forgiving. Or better yet, get a vector version of it but doing so may involve a cost. In the meantime one thing you could try is to pick a grey colour, circle marquee (select) an area and use the gradient bucket fill tool to smooth out main areas. Otherwise thats about the best you can do next to going pixel-by-pixel and doing it manually. HTH & Good luck!

Hi World, I'm looking for a project file for Adobe Rush I made about 2 or 3 months ago. No idea what the file extension should be and I can't find a file manually in my usual save locations. Was Rush a Cloud / Web based offering and since the last upgrade the other week its been pulled? What am I looking for as a project file? There's nothing in my cloud sync to open. Cheers, Luke

Bit of a necropost here but I couldnt get a PSD into Premiere CC for love nor money. Had to save the thing as a GIF and then it finally took it. This "Generic error" is far from useful.

Good Afternoon World! I hope you're well. I did some 360 photos at the weekend and one of them I had the camera "out on a limb" somewhat. Effectively I was holding it at 90 degrees to the room as I was resting my extension pole on a balcony to get a cool overhead shot. The side effect of that is that the bottom / Nadir point of the image isn't where I'd like it to be. In PS I can navigate, dolly etc the picture but not seeing any option to set anchor point or something to that effect. Any ideas would be welcomed. Thanks in advance as always. Luke

Hi All, again, I'm still getting this issue on new projects. I've gone through and renamed any @ or special character containing files as well as those in the sequence (as they dont inherit the name change, annoyingly), only 2 @'s found in my bins so that's fine. Still getting this though. Any ideas please?

Are you able to export the project in a different format that can playback ok? It could be you need a codec pack or try VLC Player or other media playing software.

Hello World! Does anyone know if there is a way to set a Video channel - e.g. V1, V2, V3 - as a camera to allow me to switch between them for the final output? I filmed a project recently with two Sony's and a GoPro. My current sequence looks like this. As it stands its looking like I'm going to have to "cut the hell out of this" to switch between V1, V3, V2, V1 again, V3 etc etc so would really like to use the Toggle Multi-Camera View to my advantage instead. FWIW its a 45 minute before-during-after video of a car being sprayed which I'm to clip down to 2 minutes (or less). I've tried to use Multi-camera imports but due to the videos being chunked up due to filesizes it takes each video clip as a camera so its a right mess, totally unworkable. On a previous MC project I've had to stitch the MTS files together first - which took AAAAAGES as it was a 2hr seminar - before I could import each camera's feed as one whole video file. What would be the best practice approach for projects like this as I have more multi-camera shoots coming up and would love to learn how to improve my workflow. I'm on Premiere CC 2018 latest version & updates - of course! I look forward to your suggestions. Cheers, Luke

PGZ@Mobibase wrote Maybe check if you have "special caracters" (accents #@&ç etc) in your source filenames. If so, rename, resync in premiere and retry project manager. Hope this helps Now that you mention it the 123 video clips I have are titled with email addresses so have @ symbols in them. I'm too far into the project to de-bug/rename them so will have to stick to my office rig rather than export to laptop. I'll mark yours as helpful as this could well be the issue. Thank you.

Hi RobShultz, thanks for the reply. I shut my computer down entirely after my reply earlier. Booted up just now (after 30 min drive to nowhere because the main road was closed and the diversion was a disaster) went to export same path as before , same error as before. Also rejects Desktop as you suggested with the same vague unhelpful error.

Yes please, I'm having the same error. Not had it before. Loads of disk space. Have rebooted in case RAM is holding something but no change. Same happens if I go to export to a local HDD instead of my removable. Latest versions of CC, Win 10, 16Gb Ram, Xeon proc.

Sorry to necropost here but the suggestion above does work. As in the "click the first of the sequence, tick the box then Import". I'll admit it's a bit counter-intuitive in that you'd imagine to click a series of images which itself would be a sequence so I understand the confusion.

Hi World, changing CMYK to RGB didn't help , changing file format didn't help either. Opened the JPG in PS, copy layer, new image, paste layer, save as PSD. Now Premiere accepts it. HTH Peace!

Hi All, I did a shoot yesterday using three cameras. All use MTS format for AVCHD. As such each camera's output is several clips rather than one long continuous one. If I create a bin containing the clips from one camera and then create a Multicam sequence from it this rather than be smart and turn that collection into one long long source based on incremental file names it instead uses each clip as a different camera angle. At this point I'm about to start a chunky render (this shoot was 1.5hrs x3 cameras) of each sequence of clips to create one single clip of each camera which I'll then cue & sync up to multicam. Its a bit of a process but currently I'm not seeing much else online to this same scenario and YouTube videos of Multicam appear to be years old and based on using one long video per source. Does anyone else have the same challenge as this with MTS files on long shoots please and how are you working though it? Like me here or have you got a smarter method please? Many thanks in advance, Luke

Good Afternoon World! I occasionally get a graphic of text (using the new titles) which will either clip off some of the text (usually to the right) or the lower third of text will be cut off. I have to delete the graphic layer and re-do it. Bit annoying and I find myself having to use good ol' "legacy title" to make it show right. If I move the graphic the clipping follows so its not safety margins as I first thought. Also, is there a hotkey for dead-centre please on the new titles. In Legacy Titles you could hit that |[]| button for horizontal centre for example but I can't see that in the new titles. Cheers all, Luke

Thanks all for the replies and the technical details particularly. Because of the type of motherboard and power supply my options for a gfx add on card were limited and my card gets me dual screen which was the main reason. Handles any games I play fine but that's increasingly infrequent! With my next machine when the time comes I'll look at the hardware requirements and recommended cards by Adobe and factor that into my purchase. In the meantime it does the job and I can leave it to render during the night if required. Thanks again for the replies and I wish you all a great week ahead! Luke

Good Morning all, How's it going? I'd really appreciate some help please in regards to the fact I ALWAYS get this error when I try to upload a project's output video to Vimeo as part of the rendering process; From AMEEncodingErrorLog Vimeo(The Vimeo server failed to respond during upload. Please check your network connection.) - The Vimeo server failed to respond during upload. Please check your network connection. The video in this instance is 434Mb (on disk) and my quota in Vimeo has the capacity to receive this which I'm sure it will totally fine once Dropbox uploads it and then I import it manually via web interface as I've had to do in the past. I've always gotten this on every version of Media Encoder I've had and with all formats I output. Last night's project is a WMV format for example. Before I started the render 6 hours ago (took 4 to complete) I'd closed Dropbox to free up any bandwidth. I've logged in / allowed / authorised AME and Vimeo so I really don't see why this happens. Would really appreciate some ideas on how to resolve this please. FWIW My internet connection is ADSL (yes in 2017 I know and we're looking at upgrading soon) so my upload speeds can be as high as 57kbps. Dropbox reckons it'll be 2hrs to upload. I'm on fully updated CC (I've read that can be an issue on other forum pages here). Thanks in advance and have a great week ahead, Lu

Hmmm, I'm using Windows Media format for my outputs with preset HD 1080p 24 as they're most widely available. I've not tried rendering at H.264 but I'll give that a try for the purposes of this conversation.
