I'm looking into Resolve, if the tool's better it makes sense to use it, and I do like their business model over Adobe's. But as a user of After Effects, PrPro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom and Audition it's hard (not impossible) to replace all those apps and I do enjoy using them (mostly). Getting back to the focus of this thread, a few little tweaks like this can make a big difference. If only extra attention was given to workflow issues / ideas like this, that have been raised and upvoted for years, but not addressed properly (please take note Adobe staff)!

@Bruce McLaren-Lyall Our friend @LuMags is mostly correct. Install the "Frame.io V4 Comments" panel and follow @LuMags' instructions on access the panels. Do not re-install "Frame.io Video Review and Approval". You will need to access the panel via "Window>Frame.io: Comments" rather than the "Review with Frame.io" window that is built into Premiere Pro.

Hi Kevin, On a similar vein, with the new update to 2025 the Options+ software doesnt offer any Adobe-centric options. My thumbscroller used to be timeline movement for example but now the software just offers generic Windows things like Cut, Paste etc. Similarly on PhotoShop the scroller wash brush size, not anymore. Any ideas? Thank you

Hi All, I use a Logitech MX Master 3 and in other Adobe software the thumbwheel on the mouse is great but for some reason only in Audition its really small increments as described. I've checked settings within Logitech Options+ software and have found if I add Audition to the Point + Scroll section and set the Thumbwheel from 50% to 80% thats much better for scrubbing through audio. #TheMoreYouKnow

This is still broken almost 10 years later, on Adobe Premiere Pro 2024. The "Image Sequence" checkbox is grayed out and cannot be selected. I have valid JPG files sequentially named in a folder by themselves that I am trying to import to create a timelapse as.

there's something (eg, av, antimalware, cleaner, defragger) that's corrupting your sign-in credentials which are saved in your OOBE* folder.
2) Browse to the following location based on your operating system.
A) Mac OS: /Users/<user name>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE

As stated above, you can Save As or Save a Copy of a signed pdf but all that does is give a new name. You still can't edit it. The only way to edit it is to Print to File then open that newly saved pdf.

The video at the beginning of this thread addresses 3 issues for IMAGES that create this error on import.
When import of a SRT subtitle file creates this error, it is almost always because of an error in the srt file.
Open the srt in a text editor and paste the first 3 subtitles here.

Hello world, I have a batch job coming up I'd love to encode + publish direct to YouTube but I have an issue. I hold Manager / Editor roles on several YT channels. When I connect/allow Adobe to access my YT account I don't see the various channels I work on. Meaning, I'd guess, that if I ran a batch it'd go into my Mgmt account. Is there a way to choose my various channels under my account please? Cheers, Lu

The issue on Macs is that the OS installed ColorSync utility uses a display gamma of 1.96.
Rec.709 standards requires a display gamma of 2.4 ... 2.2 for "bright-room" viewing. Which is what both Adobe and Resolve use.
Unless, of course, in Resolve you use the Rec.709-A export option, which is A for Apple, quite literally ... which mods the file and file header with an odd NCLC tag, so it is displayed correctly when displayed at gamma 1.96. But of course, the file doesn't work correctly on any b-cast compliant straight-up Rec.709 system then, does it? I've exported from Resolve on my system with the Rec.709-A option, and ... in straight up Rec.709 calibrated/profiled viewing, it's not the same, is it?
Because you can't make a file that looks the same at two wildly different desplay gammas. No pro colorist can do so, and yes, I work with/for/teach pro colorists. Mostly Mac based, who are ticked at Apple over this. If everyone including Apple used the same display gamma, there'd be no issue.
Sadly, that's not likely to happen any time soon.

MXF files with 8 audio channels cause exactly the same problem for me after importing them into Premiere Pro. The audio channels of the first clip are always corrupt and cannot be split properly. Even when one SD card gets full and another is written to, the audio problem is present on the first clip. The second clip and the remaining clips on the card then work again as they should. For professionals, this is actually unacceptable.

I am having the exact same issue. Ever since the update to the lastest version of Premiere the text tool is sporatic. Now it will not work at all. All my Mac updates are current, and my desktop is virually empty. I have cloesed evertything out and rebooted. Nothing helps. I wish I could go back to the last version of Premiere; this was never an issue. I suppose three weeks from now someone will respond to this with a useless response. I am not impressed with Adobe support.

Perhaps a color space issue. Check the clip properties ... if they're showing as HLG color space, then right-click/Modify/Interpret Footage, set the Override value to Rec.709.

Hi!
First, I understand your pain. And thank you for speaking up and registering your concern.
Second, for now just make sure that you do NOT use the automatic update function when you move to a newer version of Photoshop. This will allow you to manually update, and click that little option under the Update that allows you to keep the version you have on your machine (while installing the new one) and extend the functionality a while longer until another solution can be found.
