Can you please share the project and the peculiar fonts you were working with?    You can share them privately if you'd like to keep the assets private.    I'm concerned about project corruption. Hi Kimera,    I thought re-installing the latest Mr. Horse panel fixed this issue?  Can you try adding Mogrts from the Essential Graphics Panel and not from Premiere Composer?  Can you try and add Mogrts from the Libraries Panel (the native one that comes with Premiere)?  Is the hang resolved when you use the native Premiere panels?  The Sample Process reports you sent us point to an issue with the third-party panel from Mr. Horse. Hi @Luluanll  I'm not sure if I totally understand your question, the timeline is visible in your first image. But, if you want to expose the parameters under the layer in your timeline, you need to use the little arrow on the left side to "twirl open" all of the parameters that are available to that type of layer.      If you're trying to open the Expressions Editor, you need to click on the parameter of your choice while holding down the keyboard modifier, Alt or Opt.   I know you said you don't want to time remap, but just in case... in the last image you shared, the YouTube tutorial maker has enabled "Time Remapping" by right-clicking on the layer, choosing "Time" and then "Enable Time Remapping"  Then they held down Alt / Opt while clicking on the Stopwatch icon on the left of the Time Remap parameter to make the Expressions Editor visible. Based on the Crash Reports that were submitted by the team, we've identified the cause of the crash as a third-party plugin, Reach Engine on Apple silicon machines. Would it be possible for you to send me a project?  The best way to send your crash reports is to add your email to the Crash Reporter. I can't open the .cr2 file you sent 😞 but I can search our Crash Reporter system for your email and get to the important information. Hi @Andrew LA Chargers,    That's not cool! I'm sorry for all the headaches. The best way to help diagnose this issue is with the assets themselves. Can you please Direct Message me with the individual Mogrt files and a sample Premiere Project so I can try to diagnose on my side. A WeTransfer, Dropbox, or Google Drive link is usually the only workaround to the file type limits that can be attached via this forum. Have you been sending in the Crash Reports? If so what email have you listed. This is one of the best tools to see what is going on. So if you haven't done so, please instigate the crash again so I can search for things on my side. Again, DM me so you don't have to put your contact info or IP on here publicly.  A screen recording of you trying to add the Mogrt would also be super helpful. Thank you for your Feature Request 🙏🏽 As a workaround, you can use Separate Dimensions on the 3D Position and add the individual z value to the EGP without a problem.  For Orientation, you can add an Expression Slider to the layer and use the following expression on the Orientation Param:    [value[0],value[1], value[2]+effect("Slider Control")("Slider")]   Add the Expression Slider to the EGP and now you've got a way to control the z value of the Orientation working!    Cheers, ... Hi @Maria João32050283d4c1,    Can you please double-click on the thumbnail for the Media Replacement control in the Essential Graphics Panel?  This will show us the secret timeline that gets created when you replace media in a Media Replacement Control.  My theory (and hope) is that the video you replaced the control is not long enough and that you're not seeing anything in the main sequence because there is no video there.  Please take a screenshot of that so we can take a look at what is happening.  If you could also collect the project assets via Project Manager and share that with me that you be super helpful as well.    Thanks so much,  ... Hi @dbDavideBoscolo,    This depends on what version of AE you're working in. Can you share the version and your system specs please?    If you're working in 23.6, then it's not a bug so much as a change to the feature.    In 23.6, we introduced Essential Properties in the Props Panel. This now gives users the ability to set the Font, Font Size, and Faux Styles for their EP Text layers. In previous versions of AE, users were only given the option to change the words of the EP Control and nothing more. That meant that any changes made to the Primary Text Layer were automatically inherited by all of the related EP Text Controls, even if the text had been overridden and the Push / Pull buttons were activated. This broke the concept of EPs, since the overridden values (the ones in the Precomp) become their own independent version as soon as those Push / Pull buttons become active. And it also didn't allow for people to iterate non-destructively across templated EP comps-- which is the promise of Essential Properties.    Now in 23.6,  those EP controls are in the Props Panel and the rules have changed.    First things first, use the Enable Properties Hot Text on the Text Control in the Essential Graphics Panel to enable the extra font controls.       Now you can change the Font for the EP control in the templated EP comp independently from the Primary Control.  But back to your scenario...  If you've changed the actual words in the EP Text Control, then the Push/ Pull buttons will be activated. This means that changing the Font in the Primary Comp will not affect the EP Comp. The templated instance is now independent from the original text layer because it has been changed.  You will have to "Pull" the values back from the Primary Comp but that will also reset your words 😞    If the EP Text Control has not been changed in any way (and the Push / Pull buttons are not active), then changes to the Primary Control will trickle down to the rest of the related EP comps.    So definitely could boil down to an order of operations if you still want the power to change the fonts in your EP Text controls with the Primary.      Hope this is clear-ish. Let me know if you're not on 23.6 though cause then it will definitely be a bug. And please let us know your feedback. Would it be beneficial to you to be able to Pull / Push only the font but maintain any changes to the words themselves? YAY!!! this is great news!!!!  Those driver updates can either help or hurt sometimes but I'm happy to hear that you're back on track.  That's so weird though. Usually a graphics card issue would lead to render problems like a black frame in the Program Monitor and not blocking the unpacking / adding a of the mogrt to the timeline. 🤔 How interesting!!! Hi Apologies @samuelk81589883,    I got pulled into a new project and have not been available. 😞   I have the assets you sent me and I was able to throw all of the aegraphics (except one that was missing DD:Title Tip) in your project onto a new timeline in your same project and export them without a problem.  Since I don't have all of the other files in your project, I can't try to pinpoint any of the other possible files that may be contributing to your failure. Nor can I try and export your existing timelines accurately. But, I can say with certainty, that the Mogrts themselves are not causing the issue. Do you want to use Project manager to collect the files in your project and re-send them so I can test exporting the Mogrts in context to the rest of your timeline?   Have you tried to isolate the various media sources to see if they are causing the render problems? Offhand, I see .tiffs, .R3d, .mp4, .mov, .wav    Alternatively, can you please open the .aegraphic up by changing the extension to .zip and open the .aep in After Effects?  If you see errors when rendering the .aep natively in AE, then we may follow that clue.    Can you also share a log with me from the failed export in AME?  File > Show Log   Thanks, Dacia   Thanks and apologies again for the delay,  ... Hi @hellopaul4,    That's no good! I've tried to reproduce the issue on my end and my text edits are all preserved after I alt-replace so I'm wondering if it's possible that you did any of the following things before exporting the 2nd version.     The only way the text in Mogrt v1 should be overwritten is if:   the text control was removed from the EGP in AE in the edited Mogrt v2 before re-export or if the Primary Comp was duplicated and the Mogrt was re-exported from this duplicated Primary comp instead.    The controls and the Primary Comp have a unique ID. The way we are able to preserve existing edits on Mogrt v1 when it is alt-replaced by Mogrt v2 is if those controls unique IDs are the same.    Would you be able to send me both Mogrts though so I can dig into them? The issue is in whatever Logitech Codec is installed + 23.6 having a conflict 😞    If this works on your system in 22.6 and not 23.6 with the same codecs installed then surely there is a bug here. But it would be great to confirm if your mogrts get back to functional in 23.6 without that codec. @ChrisKirbyWTNH ,    From devs regarding the low-level exception "That means that AE is having a problem with some Windows codec they have installed."    In this case AELib which is a tiny inception version of AE inside of PR that renders AE Mogrts is not ok with one of those codes and is failing to launch / stalling the opening of the AE Mogrt.    Here is a community thread about the same low-level exception blocking renders more generally. Sounds like a Logitech camera codec can cause this issue. That might be of interest ...   Let me ask devs about that and in the meantime, let me clarify some of the info that I'm looking for that didn't get answered:    What version of AE is installed on your system?   When you add the Mogrt to the timeline, do you ever see a message in the Console that looks like this?      The scratch disk settings I'm asking for are in your Project Settings and look something like this: (this is the Mac version) Windows OS has a very frustrating limitation of 250 characters per file path. The Mogrt cannot be unzipped to be used in the project if the Mogrt scratch disk folder is nested in a series of folders that would push the unzipped mogrt file path to more than 250 characters.    Have you tried updating your Drivers?    Can you try to install the latest Beta and see if the issue also repro's there? You can download from Creative Cloud Desktop app and it won't interfere with any of your other installs of Premiere Pro.    Can you add any other footage to the timeline?  ... View more

Does this same crash occur in the latest version of Premiere Pro 23.6 as well?  Does the crash only happen when you are mixing Thai script and Latin characters? Another way to ask that is can you avid the crash if you try to paste the Thai script into a new Text Layer?
