Good news that you resolved the unwanted sync alert. Sadly, the approach you adopted is becoming an increasingly common fix for multiple catalog related issues. I'll mark your last reply as providing the 'Correct Answer'. Hopefully, it will help others that experience the same or similar sync issues.

When you remove a photo or multiple photos from the catalog, LrC will also remove the associated previews. However, I've never came across an situation where the deleted previews were 'visible' in the Recycle Bin.

Collections with the same name shouldn't be an issue, and with the catalog set to 'Pause' the sync alert dialog should not appear. You should be safe enough to delete the files in the Recycle Bin.

Using 'Pause' is the way to stop the nagging sync alert. You should also make sure that there are no collections configured to sync

The files that are shown in your screenshot of the Recycle Bin are previews only and relate to the Previews database (xxx Previews.lrdata). They are in the bin because you removed the associated photos from the catalog. That being said, the lrdata files shoiuld not be visible in the bin

It's probably due to garphics card driver. To help us dianose the issue, please provide a copy of your LrC 'System Info'. You can obtain this from the LrC Help>System Info menu item. Note that there's a Copy button at the top right corner of the System Info dialog box. You should use this button to capture the contents, then use paste to insert into your next forum post.

File corruption can arise in multiple areas (e.g the camera, SD card, the card reader, the cable connecting the card reader/camera to the computer or failing computer hard disk /SSD). > I have one photo that i have already edited and downloaded as a jpeg file and now the dng copy is corrupt and can no longer be used. Above would suggest that issue is with computer (disk/ssd).

Launch the Creative Cloud App, then click on the Apps button. Select Lightroom Classic, then the 3-dots. Click on Other Versions, then choose 14.2. I've attached a screenshot that should help .

If Lightroom Classic is the only one you use, then delete everything other than Lightroom Classic

If you only use Lightroom Classic, then use the Uninstall shortcut located in each of the folders you mention. The shortcut will launch the Creative Cloud App and give you an option to also delete the application preferences. The CC App will then begin the process of deleting the application. If the folders are empty. then just drag them to the trash
