Looks like the tree view in Mediainfo, and everything is the same as for me (PC version) except the variable framerate. I check in Gspot (only available for PC), and it does not report a framerate mode, but reports the framerate as 23.974. ... View more

I don't think the mediainfo should be different. (I am PC.) Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing? I don't know for a fact that variable framerate is an issue; but it seems a logical problem - and once EN transcodes it, it is a constant 23.976. Is the 23.976 a drop down in Handbrake? ... Go to View -> Tree. Then, under the Video section, find "Frame Rate." For me, the "Frame Rate Mode: Variable" is right before that; and after them is a minimum and maximum. In Handbrake, check both that you specify "constant," and also that you specify a rate (rather than using "source" or whatever). ... View more

When I import any files to Encore I cannot change the import settings. There is no issue regarding "import"; I think you are referring to the project settings and the default transcode settings. What is imported into Encore can be full HD into a DVD project. It is what it is transcoded into, that for NTSC DVD must be 720x480, that matters. What are your transcode settings? ... View more

Not having the Additional Functional Content is not how Adobe usually does things, but who knows what all was going on? All right; time for some wild speculation. For several cycles, the Encore library was separated from the traditional "functional content," which had been on a different disk for optional install, and put into the main program install. Well, except for those who installed from downloads, in which the installs were like the traditional - from a separate, optional source. This cycle (CS6) it is back to an optional separate install, BUT it also appears to be, in its preliminary versions at least, a very reduced library. (This might be because it was all missing, and this is the part they rushed to add back.) But with problems with "the installer" I think they had a problem with the system that was created to deliver the new, combined functional content. Obviously a huge problem, and probably a big embarrasment for someone. ... View more

It is my understanding that the library continues to be in a separate download. But that does not explain the presence of the menus.
