Mac or Windows? I can't duplicate it on my Mac. When I create a new folder and save the new project in it, it is saved in the correct location. Did you copy/paste the path instead of just the file name? It looks like Pr thinks the project file is named "Project File/Free..." That looks like a full path instead of just the project name. ... Apple's Compressor turns on CABAC entropy mode for multi-pass encoding. Perhaps Pr does the same? CABAC is also only available in the Main or High profiles; Baseline is CAVLC only. Render and replace is different than render preview files. In my experience, r&r is the same type of thing as exporting a sequence and then re-importing it as media into the project. If you later delete the sequence in the project, the media will remain. Pr treats the r&r file just like a clip that you import manually to the project, To delete the extracted audio files, you'd have to find them in the project panel, make them offline with the option to delete media files, then delete the offline instances. Did the data recovery center provide you with the original file names that were lost, or did you get a series of files with names like File01, File02, etc.? If the latter, and you have no idea of the relationship between the original file names and the new ones from the data center, then unfortunately you have a lot of work ahead of you.
