None of suggestions in "how to ask for help" ever works. Adobe just sucks. It's only getting worse by the day. I've reported thoroughly as can be and all I get are the same old guesses. Anyone doing serious work like serious documentaries and other long form projects should stay away from this garbage. I've lost so many hours trying to work this out, built a newer computer and it only gets worse. I've been producing video for over 15 years and this last half a year has been horrible. Sure, I may be wasting time right now saying all this, or I could be very thorough like I have here for example Warning, error, frame substitution??? and get nowhere, well, actually it's worse, now it just crashes with no warnings. I'm editing, it crashes, adobe does nothing. I posted this 3 hours ago. I also started their support chat at that time. I just finished with them. I watched as they did things that didn't even make sense and none of them worked. They cleared cache (I already did this), they reinstalled different drivers (I've already done this), they tried software instead of GPU CUDA and rendered the whole timeline (why I don't know, that took an hour, super stupid). So, more time lost, so, yeah, I can tell you about my hardware, which means nothing because it's not like that's going to help, but here it is: I9 9900K 64 GB RAM 3600 Mhz SSD's and M.2 NVME's 2080 Ti I'm editing and it crashes, specifically it happens when I'm scrubbing the timeline. Maybe if their so called software developers/engineers actually tested on real world projects people in the real world would not get sucked into their trash only to be trapped trying to finish projects so we can get away and into something more solid, potentially DaVinci Resolve?
