The package should be in a folder. Move the entire folder to the USB and then copy it to the local HD. Run the setup.exe with elevated privileges - ideally from the command line.

Hi, An installer downloaded from adobe.com will not give elevated privileges. Using Federated ID has no impact on how applications are installed, it is just how you authenticate and determine which applications you are entitled to use - the apps still need to be installed. Hope that helps.

Hi, It sounds like on Windows you have a 'self-service' package installed - that is to say the Desktop Application has 'elevated privileges' allowing it to install and update applications, even where you do not have the relevant Admin rights. On the mac, you may have a different package, one that does not grant those rights. The solution would be to have your IT Admin build and deploy to you a self-service CC package. Hi, You can package some CS6 applications directly in Creative Cloud Packager. Click 'show archived versions' Alternatively if this is a volume CS6 license you can obtain your installers from the Licensing Website - licensing.adobe.com - you will need to be an admin for your organisational account. If you have a volume serial number it must be used with the correct volume installer.

Hi, It looks like you are using Shared Device Licensing in your labs. The model for SDL is 'bring your own services' and it allows users to log in and be able to work with any assets they have in storage or cc libraries, and use any services they have entitlement to. This is achieved by having each user log in with their Adobe ID (or Enterprise/Federated ID.) You have a Spark entitlement so you can add users to that profile. Therefore SDL does require a sign-in from users. This should not be a generic logon. Enterprise Help | Shared Device Licensing FAQ

The error 'Execute: Invalid/Empty Metadata file' seems to indicate that the relevant licensing information is inaccessible or maybe damaged. We would probably need to do more investigation on the machine itself, the next step would be to open a support case from your Admin Console to have this looked at in more detail.

Hi, You are using the built-in Powerpoint method - you will be able to set the document title and many other features if you use the PDFMaker which will be installed with Acrobat. This will give you an 'Acrobat' tab in Powerpoint. Then you can set the Preferences to prompt for the PDF filename.

Hi, You can certainly use this workflow. If you are an enterprise customer you can go to your Admin Console and build a package containing the desktop app and deploy that package - if desired you can make this a self-service package so that users can install apps themselves. When the user signs in they will be able to install and use any application for which they have a license. I can see that you are a System Admin on your console. Packaging User Guide Admin Console

You can build an MSI file including a perpetual serial number if you have one, yes. Note however that not all CS6 apps are available in Creative Cloud Packager due to our recent changes in download availability. Hi, An Enterprise ID user is not the same as an Adobe ID user. Enterprise and Federated ID have no services or storage as default. So Ent/Fed ID need to be given some entitlement if you are looking to use services/storage. Adobe Spark can be used, but note that this does not include Adobe Fonts currently.

Hi, Shared Device Licensing is a 'bring your own services' model. So when you sign in you will get the services associated with the entitlement attached to that particular ID - Shared Device Licensing FAQ So it is possible to have Adobe Fonts and other services with SDL it just depends what entitlement that user has. If you use an Adobe ID with no other entitlement for example you will get access to the basic level of services and storage associated with that ID. - Benefits of a free Adobe Creative Cloud membership

Hi, You need to use the Customization Wizard tool. Open the Acrobat MSI in the Wizard. Go to the Personalization Options section. Enter the serial number and choose 'grant offline exception' to build an offline Acrobat package. You can also choose to disable online services and make other changes there. When complete this will generate an MST file which you can push out when deploying your MSI. Hi, Sorry, yes, I tested this and had the same findings as you. There is no silent parameter listed under the -help option either. However it looks like the default mode is silent.
