Thanks for the clarification. I am not aware that this should be any different for 2015. Which method are you using; user or machine disabling? Also there is an option for post-deployment. Are you rolling out new files or testing with the ones already there?

There are a number of options regarding updates. 1. Users can install updates themselves using the CC Desktop Application, by having Adobe Update Manager check for updates regularly (enable this in your package) or by going to Help>Check for Updates. If desired you can ping an internal location rather that Adobe by using the Adobe Update Server Setup Tool. Creative Cloud Help | Using Adobe Update Server Setup Tool 2. Admin can use Remote Update Manager to remotely invoke the Adobe Update Manager on the client system. Creative Cloud Help | Using Adobe Remote Update Manager 3. Hi, Yes that would be the expected behaviour. The desktop app will give the option to delete the previous version but not from CCP. Unfortunately the desktop app can't download via AUSST.

Hi, You are correct in saying that the CC 2015 applications cannot be delivered via RUM/AUSST. These are full binary builds of the products rather than patches. The correct way to deploy these is to use Creative Cloud Packager to build a package which will give you an msi or pkg file which you can deploy. You can also use the Creative Cloud Desktop App to install if your users have admin rights on their machine.

If you have already built packages for Bridge and Photoshop I would try clearing your cache in Creative Cloud Packager as you may have some damaged files in there. To do this go to the drop-down Welcome menu, choose Preferences and 'Click here to purge cache folder'.

Possibly damaged files in the cache folder. Try to purge the cache and rebuild the package. In CCP go to the drop down menu and choose Preferences and then 'Click Here to purge cache folder.' Creative Cloud Help | Creating or editing packages

Hi, We have a blog that provides details of updates to Creative Cloud http://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloudenterpriseupdates/ Additionally if you have built packages on the dashboard they will note if they require updating, i.e. if a new update is available. Also the same feature can be seen within CCP itself. That said, I agree that this would be a great feature to see more directly on the dashboard. It is a frequent customer request and the product team are aware of it so I hope to see it sometime soon.

AAME has been superceded by the Creative Cloud Packager. You can download CCP from the licensing website, your enterprise dashboard or from creative.adobe.com if you are a team admin. For Acrobat X, this is an older version and is not supported by CCP. I would advise using the Adobe Customization Wizard to build a package, and any transforms needed. The most likely cause for this error is a conflict on installation. If Creative Cloud Packager is running then close it. Similarly other Adobe processes. For a list see the following document Resolving process conflicts

Currently these will not be uninstalled. In many cases it is ok to have both on the same system but for some applications such as Acrobat it will cause problems. One example of a potential problem is that Acrobat installs pdfmakers into several applications such as Microsoft Office. So I would say that the best practice is to uninstall the older versions of the applications. A standard msi uninstall will work. And of course that will save you some hard drive space.

Hi, The .ccp file that you are loading is actually just a small xml file that should only be a few kilobytes. It contains pointers to cached downloads, and you state that you have deleted these cached downloads. Each time you build a package you could be using different parameters. For example named user or serialized deployment. Editing the .ccp file only allows you to change the applications and updates included not any of the other details such as licensing information and how to handle updates. If you only wish to deploy certain individual applications I would suggest building a package containing just that application. There are no limits in the packager concerning which of your licensed applications you include in your package, what you call it or how many packages you build. I think that would save you some time and give you a bit more flexibility, after all it is probably the case that not all your users need all the software in CC.

On the machine for whom the update failed, if you go to Help>Updates is that option available or is it greyed out? It is possible that a previous installation blocked updates, this is an option that can be configured in CCP.

I don't see your Acrobat licenses there in the dashboard and you are correct that assigning the complete plan would use up one of your licenses. It may be that you have a separate serial number for Acrobat. To check this you would have to go to the Adobe Licensing Website licensing.adobe.com and log in to view the licenses under your account. If you are not sure about how to access this website I would advise opening a case with support and they can check your licenses. From the dashboard go to Support and click Open a Case. Your phone support number should also appear.

Hi, If you have used the creative cloud packager to build your package then note the following. 1. Acrobat is what we call an exception and can be found in the Exceptions folder. To install it you need to use the correct parameters which are noted in the Exceptions text and can also be found here. https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/packager/using-exceptions-deployer.html So run the following command before deploying your msi exceptionDeployer.exe --workflow=install --mode=pre --installLanguage=de_DE (change the language accordingly). Hi, No problem! From your screenshots you have a complete plan, plus 'single apps' for Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator and Premiere. Therefore you have access to Acrobat via the Complete Plan. So create a Group for Complete Plan and assign the user to that group. Go to the Groups tab, click on the + in the top right corner. Under Products and Services select your complete plan. Add the users you want to assign to this group. Of course if you only want your users to have Acrobat then only deploy Acrobat to them.

Hi, As a first step I would sign out of CC and then sign back in. Also ensure you are using the correct Adobe ID and have internet access. If the issue persists then try the following: The opm.db file contains cached user login information and deleting this file is a useful troubleshooting step. Once deleted a fresh file will be automatically created when you launch Creative Cloud and log back in. Close the Creative Cloud application. Navigate to the OOBE folder. Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder Delete the opm.db file. Launch Creative Cloud. If you are still having problems then uninstall all your CC applications, run the CC Cleaner tool and then reinstall and sign in again. Hi, The Exception for Acrobat only applies to deployment. To assign licences via the Enterprise Dashboard the process is the same as for other products. So: create a product group in the Groups tab. Invite your user in the Users tab and assign them to the appropriate group. Then the user can sign in to activate the copy of Acrobat you deployed to them. https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise.html will give you more detail. Hope that helps!
