You can do this via Polar Coordinates. Just be sure the subject is only on the right or left half of the canvass. After Polar Coordinates: You could then rotate the results if you like. Unfortunately, the outer edge will look smeared. Stars would become short, arced streaks. You can get around this (sort of) by starting with an image 6.28 times wider than the final, and then scaling the width down to the final size before the Polar Coordinates. Now the stretching is in the middle.

What country are you from? For the USA, you can download free Digital Elevation Maps from the U. S. Geological Survey, specifically from The National Map: 3D Elevation Program. I don't know if you can use this data directly in Photoshop, but if you search the Web for Terrain Modeling Software, you should be able to find some tools.

An alternative would be to use the Liquify filter on both layers sequentially. After doing one layer, run the filter on the second layer, and click on the "Load Last Mesh" button. This will apply the same distortion to the second layer as the first. You can do this with or without Smart Objects.

Copy Merged does just that - makes a merged copy in the clipboard. Stamping merged is done thusly (from Adobe Help): Stamp multiple layers or linked layers When you stamp multiple selected layers or linked layers, Photoshop creates a new layer containing the merged content. Select multiple layers. Press Ctrl+Alt+E (Windows) or Command+Option+E (Mac OS). To stamp all visible layers, do the following: Turn visibility on for the layers you want to merge. Press Shift+Ctrl+Alt+E (Windows) or Shift+Command+Option+E (Mac OS).

The numbers are always width then height. You could define a 5x4 preset for landscape. I checked in CS4, and it does not do as you describe.

Had your file eve been saved before? Then you could go back to that. Photoshop Raw format is an esoteric format, and there doesn't seem to be much information about using it. If you have the pixel dimensions, try palying with different header size values. Some scant information can be found here: Photoshop RAW File Format | Shutha [EDIT] and listen to Gernot - he knows about this stuff.

If you drag an image to the Library panel with the Move tool, it will be saved there as a Graphic. You can then drag them into another document. Note that while you can have several layers selected and drag them all to the library as one Graphic, when you drag them to another doc, they come in flattened.

The problem is you're viewing the image at 500%. In your screenshot, you can see the individual pixels, and selections are pixel-based. If you look at the selection in Quick Mask mode [press the Q key to toggle this], you can get a better idea of what the actual selection actually is. The marching ants are just the border between more or less than 50% selected. Try viewing your image at 100%.

If you're making the selection by clicking on the icon at the bottom of the Paths panel, try this instead: open the Panel menu for the Paths Panel, and select the "Make Selection. . ." option, In the dialog that opens, set the Feather to zero.

I'll find out soon enough; mine's installing on my work machine right now. According to this: Update apps to Adobe Creative Cloud 2015, if you open the Advanced Options, if you UN-check "Remove old versions", it will keep your old ones. That's what I did, but the Cloud app is still in the middle of updating all the pps, so we shall see when it's done.

My copy of 7.0 is an upgrade, and I don't have any pre-CC versions installed. Could I install 7.0 using my old serial number, or would I have to first install the latest non-upgrade version I have (4.0)? Or did they use disk keys back then? (It's been so long . . .)
