You write you saved the audio as a new file, but was this under a new name?  In other words, did you choose to "Save as..." or simply to "Save..."?   If you chose to "Save as...", your original file will still be there, unedited, unprocessed in any way.  If you chose to "Save...", unfortunately you have overwritten your original file.   As to how to remove applied effects once they are saved to a file in Waveform view: you can't, sorry!  That is why you should always work on a copy of your file OR, as soon as you have opened the original immediately do a Save as.. under a new name or with some sort of addition to the name so that you can clearly see this is NOT the original file.  Speaking personally, once I have completed work on an audio file I almost always add "_processed" to the file name and then save it. ... @Nwaka23007813x720  I suspect your problem is because the insert from (your) mixer, assuming you mean you're using a single insert point (normally found as a socket in the channel strip), will be mono.  Hence your drums are recorded as mono.  (It makes no difference at all in this situation that you are apparently using a TRS plug.)   You need to take a stereo output from your mixer into two channels of your audio interface. ... Audition does not have the capability to record MIDI so you need to connect the Audio outputs of the keyboard to the audio inputs of your computer; you cannot use the USB output from your keyboard, which is for MIDI only.   Ideally, you would have the audio going from your keyboard (two channels, for stereo) to an external USB interface (minimum 2 channels model) and this interface can be connected to your computer via USB and Audition can record it.   One caveat: reading the detailed specs for your keyboard here I see the only audio outputs are for headphones.  You will need to carefully set the output level of the single miniature stereo jack so that it is not too loud for the input of your interface or your computer or you will be recording a potentially high level of distortion.   HTH ... Ah, now I understand.  Thank you.   I'm afraid I have only one other suggestion to make: try the scan again, but this time include a tick in the "Rescan existing plugins" box.  I have no idea at all whether this will effect any change but I think it is worth a try at least.   I notice you say you are using RX8 Elements.  I'm running the full versions of both 8 and 9 though I really don't think that should have any relevance to this problem, since "Elements" is, essentially, a cut-down version of the full program, I believe. ... Interesting!   I have very recently updated to Audition 2022 and also have RX8 and RX9 installed on my computer.   On opening Audition (for the first time since the update) I noticed that RX8 was listed in the Audio Plugin Manager screen, but not RX9???  So I ran the Scan for plugins (without ticking the Rescan existing plugins box) and RX9 was now seen and available!   So, have you tried going to Effects>Audio Plugin Manager and ticking that "Scan for plugins" box"?  Does that "reinstate" the missing RX8 plugins for you? ... I don't use any Waves plugins but I do use a range of iZotope ones so have some experience with them!   When you say you save the settings, exactly where are you saving them?  In Audition itself, or actually in whichever iZotope plugin(s) you are using?  I don't think Audition saves those "settings", merely the fact that you are using XYZ plugin in a specific Effects slot.  If you save your settings as a customised "preset" within the plugin itself it will always be available to use whenever that plugin is opened.    HTH ... Which DAW does your friend use?   I suspect that possibly the "easiest" method to be able to do what you want is to invest in AA Translator.  Then, you would save your .sesx file, open it in AA Translator and have the app convert your Audition session file to the "project file" format that your friend's DAW can read.  Then, send the converted "session/project" file, along with your .wavs, to your friend and have him open the project in his DAW with all your tracks/.wavs in exactly their correct places on the timeline. ... Although I am most definitely NOT an expert user of AA, having listened to your sample I think the chances of doing anything even slightly successful to "improve" this audio are virtually nil, sorry!   The "flange" effect very much resembles what is produced when effects like Noise Reduction are excessively applied to any audio.  Unfortunately, once this is "baked into" your file there is no way to reverse its effect.   For the excessive reverb, again, although I have used a number of different "dereverb" tools, I know of none that would have any likelihood of any success with your file. ...
