You need to change this in Windows expolorer, if you're on Windows.
To hide common file extensions in Windows, you can use the Hide extensions for known file types option in the Folder Options menu. To unhide file extensions, you can turn off this option.
To hide file extensions in Windows
Open File Explorer
Click Tools
Click Folder Options
Click the View tab
Scroll down to Hide extensions for known file types
Check the box to hide file extensions
Click OK

Uncheck the box to unhide file extensions

If you're on Mac, you can do it too. Just Google hide common file extension.

I was just having a conversation with someone on IG about this and saying not to hold your breath. When Adobe released the mixing tool, we started pushing to get it applied to masks. It seems their solution was the point color tool. It can be done this way, just slower and more work, but it does have advantages that the mixing tools doesn't, like refining the color selected.

Are you using the gradient tool or are you using a gradient adjustment layer? A gradient adjustment layer will adjust itself based on the crop.

I believe you need to either make your file overall size slightly smaller to account for the non printing margin, which PS seems to be resizing to, or make sure your sizing is set to 100% and not to fit.

Yea, that's what I originally heard about it. ImI'not sure if that's still the case, as i don't really watch that stuff. I do know there there are a lot of videos on Tiktok by people proclaiming to give nutrition advice that are false and can be harmful.

Well, there you go. Of course the right will be up in arms as Cuban is very liberal, but the left would act the same way like they did when Musk took over Twitter.. I really don’t give a rip. I have no interest in TT or whatever takes its place.

You can check the playback options in the timeline (gear icon, next to sound icon) maybe set at a lower resolution. Other than that, the only thing I can think of is some change in PS coupled with your computer that doesn't process as quickly with the newer version.

Put the camera on a tripod. Take one shot with the 800 and the one with the extender. set guidelines on the 800 image to where the image frame is on the extender image or you can combine the extender image, set the blend mode to difference, and scale it to match the 800 image. Then you have the crop area of the 800 and canvlow it up to compare with the extender image.

This is normal and has happened with previous versions. The first run through builds the cache and then it usually runs normal speed. The more layers and filters that you have, the slower it will be.

I have an Instagram account and X, but I rarely use them. I used to use Twitter to follow ULA launches if I was going to photo it. Instagram i look at occasionally, but rarely post.
I do spent too much time on FB, but rarely post or comment on anything political or religious. I have a host of friends that do post that stuff and who get all hot under the collar if you don't see things thier way. Many have said to unfriend them if you don't believe as they do. Some I have, not because I disagree with them on some things, but I'm not sure I want to be friends with anyone who is so closed minded. A lot of them are all in their little bubbles, feeding off of each other's similar opinions. I have one friend who was ready to leave the U.S. in 2020, if Trump one. She had talked to an immigration lawyer, but since Biden won, she stayed. I haven't heard of she's planning to move again, but I don't look at her stuff much anymore, as she only wants people who echo her views.

You can get the pixel dimensions in Bridge, Lightroom, Photoshop, via scripting, etc. How do you want to get them and for what purpose: seeing the size before you place or after placed, etc?

If I understand what you want, that would result in an image that looks posterized. Using color range, there will be some transitioning of feathering. To have no feathering, you might want to set the fuzziness all the way down. Then to be totally sure that no transparency has been selected, use the magic wand tool and select a known totally transparent area. Reverse the selection and use that for your mask for your solid color layer. Keep one color the entire image, or you will likely end up with transparent areas.

As others mentioned, you need an image layer and not an adjustment layer. If you want to include the adjustment layer, create a smart object layer of everything.

Our place, here on the central Coast has an interesting way to charge for water. It seems that the local residents own part of the water company. We are charge a minimum rate for water, even if we're not here to use it. Then you get charged more per tier of usage.

What Colin is doing is cool, but it falls short of the lighting effects in that with lightig effects you can create a light that is more directional/cone shaped, like a flood with a reflector next to a wall. With the new masking tooks, you're kind of stuck with oval mask, unless you get into some complicated masking. In Colin's example, his image helped with make it look like a diretional flood in that the barrel on the left was already dark.

I don't doubt that something like that happened, but I'm hoping it isn't getting to this order that the entire story isn't being told. I've seen a lot of post by rescue and aid groups that have had to hide their donations, as "government agencies" are coming in and confiscating them, then redirecting the supplies to other areas and taking the credit for the supplies. I remember my brother trying to work with FEMA, when his house was damaged in an earthquake- it was an exercise in red tape and frustration. And that was a pretty small disaster area, unlike Helene which was massive. I can see why people are getting frustrated and mad, but violence isn't the answer. Having only lived in NC a short time, I have gone into the real deep back areas, but I've run into a few whom I wouldn't want to cross.

Just an article on Axios Charlotte That stated insurance companies want to raise rates, here in NC, around an average of 42%. Here's a quote:
The proposed rates differ across the state, with the Rate Bureau requesting a 99% increase in some coastal areas, around 40% in Charlotte and around 20% in parts of the mountains affected by Hurricane Helene, AP noted.

Yes, it is very sad for people who have no where to go or no means to get there. I've always thought about that. One reason, earthquakes don't bother me - just bam, no time to prepare. I was often sent to FL for work, and when a hurricane would be predicted, they would send us inland to shelter - usually Orlando. One year, I think 1999, Huricane Irene came, and they thought it would miss Cocoa Beach, so they didn't evacuate us. Well it was a dead hit and just hovered there for a bit. Luckily, it was only a cat 1, but it took out the bridge acoss the causeway. In the morning, the winds were going one direction and a littler later, they were going the other direction, as the eye passed us. Here's a shot I took during it.
