They are hard to read. If older people are going to read the book, the text should be much easier to read. #2 - is my preferred design but the worst for legibility - the text is tiny on the back. #3 is too busy. #1 feels like the compromise but again, difficult to read the text on the back.

You can do this if you create area type (paragraph type). Click and drag to make your box. The other way to align is to use the move tool to select the layer and you have alignment options at the top in your options bar.

Place embedded is not the fastest way - see my preferred methods below. I don't really understand the second question - when you bring in an image it will be in it's own layer, why would you need to create a layer?? My personal favorite way to bring images into an existing image is to simply drag and drop from Bridge. You can drag and drop and from the desktop too. If you don't have a starting image and you want to bring them all in at once you can load as stack - you can do this from Bridge or from within Photoshop. This method assumes your images only have one layer.

How much time elapsed between you making the edits and exporting from your computer - you need to give it time to update. Did the images show the changes in LR on your computer? Can you share a screenshot?

I moved your post to ideas, but I also have to disagree with this suggestion. Liquify is a resource hog and used for specific things. I teach it as a "just because you can, doesn't mean you should" tool.

It looks like you are trying to change the size of area type - not point type. Click and drag for area type (paragraphs) and just click for point type (a single line of type). The text boxes behave very differently.

I would use a texture as a layer mask. Search grunge textures on stock.adobe.com - you should be able to find a free one. If you don't know how to do it, just search for how to use a texture as a layer mask - there are videos out there.

You want to place pics inside of the rectangles, right?? Easy peasy - you use something called knock out. Bottom layer can't be a background, must be a regular layer. Double click on the empty space in the rectangle layer to bring up the layer style box and set fill opacity to 0 and Knockout to deep. You can save as a png and use it as a template. If you want to keep it as a PSD file, place the layers in a group and set the knock out to shallow, then you can add a layer below the group and will it will show.

Hue Saturation hasn't changed, are you using an Adjustment layer in the Adjustment panel or from the Image > Adjustments drop down? If you are using the Adjustment panel maybe you are selecting the Mask icon instead of the adjustment icon? Screenshots would help me understand the problem. For the second comment - are you saying you want to be able to add a prompt to the remove tool? That isn't what it's for. If you want to make a selection and add a prompt, use the new selection brush tool to paint over the area and you can add a prompt.

I just bought a new 4K monitor but haven't really used it yet - I have my macbookpro, a crappy cheap monitor and a new BenQ. I spend too much time on my couch with my macbook pro. Hopefully engineering will adapt the interface as our technology changes. I'm going to change this to ideas because it's not really bug - it's more of a please fix this thing.

Is there a question on how to do this in there because I have no idea. You can make a shape and when your shape layer is selected you can choose your fill color - Unfortunately I can read tha asian characters. You can use the shape tool to create a shape, plixels or a path. You are talking about shapes, so let's create a shape. Once you create the shape, you can easily change the color at any time - you need to have the shape layer selected and the options are located in both the properties panel and the contextual task bar.

They are part of the image, you can try traditional techniques like clone and healing brush but it won't work and will be extremely time consuming and you will have to do quite a it of painting to fix things.

I agree with you 100%. Hopefully my issue will help them fix these issues. I did solve my problem - with the help of the team and it was pretty complicated. Somehow I had stuff deleted in the cloud but not locally so I had to manually dig into my computer and remove stuff.

I have so many libraries - every project, class I teach, etc. has a library. For every class I teach (a couple per month) I create a shared library for my class then delete later. Having the ability to organize the libraries into groups would be a huge time saver.

1. Type the Letter above your image. 2. Hold cmd/ctrl down and click on the T / layer thumbnail for the text - it will create a selection of the letter 3. Select the image layer and click the new mask icon at the bottom of the layers panel (assuming it doesn't already have a mask on it). 4. Invert the mask = cmd / ctr + i to invert 5. Turn off eyeball or delete text layer

Interesting. So I don't have the app, I always access Express on the Web. I'm missing Libraries in Express - so I'm sure that is where the problem is. Here are screenshots - the white is Express online, the black is my Creative Cloud app - you can see There are 3 libraries missing. And then, there is the online Creative Cloud screenshot - showing 2 libraries that are missing in Express are labeled as BRAND, not Library - I have no idea how that all works I obviously created them in Express but why aren't they just a library?

My Libraries work just fine - except they are weird in Express. I don't really use Express, I was playing in there and for some reason couldn't access a library, so I made a new one in Express, then I had multiple libraries that were basically the same. I finally gave up but ever since, my Creative Cloud has this error message. I've tried everything, I've read all the solutions, tried them all, it won't fix itself. The second screnshot shows the suspicious libraries - What is that project - that must be from Express, right?
