Unfortunately, there isn't enough information in this photo to restore it.

In the options bar, the default is set to remove after each stroke, so each time you click your mouse it is removing something. Uncheck it - then you can take your time painting what you want to remove.

It's super fast and easy to edit meta data in Bridge. It's all in the Metadata tab - just use the essentials workspace, select an image and you will see all of the metadata.

Mine does it too, how small are you making the screen? Anything less than 1/2 of my screen and it overlaps. I think this is normal behavior.

Sounds like your workspace changed and you solved it by creating a new workspace. And yeah, always make sure to save what you make somewhere far away from the app folders.

It looks like your image doesn't fill the canvas and has transparency - this is how it should work. Can you share a screenshot of your layers?

I find that I rarely, if every get something exactly right. The more details I put in, the worse it seems to get. I have to go in and fix parts. If I have the overall look and feel, then I use gen fill and gen remove to refine the areas that problems. Unfortunatly, it's not really a one prompt works great quite yet.

A warm, cozy livingroom with a fireplace, snowing outside, stockings hanging, a colorful christmas tree with cat curled up on a fluffy bed.
So, my promt was something like that. Unfortunately I don't see a way to look back to see my prompt or anyway to save my creation in Firefly. I proceeded into generative fill because there was no cat, no stockings and some weird stuff that needed fixed. In Gen fill I changed the gifts under the tree, add the stockings and the cat and removed some weirdness around the windows - strange curtains. It would be great if I could see all my creations and my prompts after the fact. My only choices see me to share or download. I had to do it twice - as soon as I exited Generative Fill the first time, my whole image disappeared and I had to start over.

Libraries are so fussy. I have this issue occassionally. Try the suggestions from AxelMatt. I also go to my Creative Cloud app to see my files in my libraries. You can drag and drop files in there.

Adobe Bridge will always show you previews and makes searching for and organizing files super easy. I highly recommend you incorporate it into your workflow.

You are correct - it's not in 26.0. Must still be in Beta and that is why it's not there. It's a little annoying - I have been waiting to make my video tutorials until 2025 was released so I could include this.

I would actually go into Illustrator, use one of the dot patterns built into the Illustrator Libraries, and drop it into PS - just another suggestion if you have access to Illustrator.

You need to open the whole generate panel - at the bottom of the toolbar... I know - it's not very obvious at all. Took me a minute to figure it out too.

Reset the preferences. Have you tried the new find distraction with the remove tool? It's up in the options bar - automatically removes power lines for you - might not help with the crash but hopefully it won't crash.

I agree with you, Alan. Everyone has a different workflow and end goal. I use Bridge and LRC in very strange ways that most people would never have use for or consider it a viable workflow. I teach Bridge when I teach PS, AI and ID but it's just a quick gloss over with encouragment for my students to use it and give it a chance. I also have many students like you describe above. They have been using the software for a very long time but don't understand masking and haven't grown with capabilities of the app. That's why I have a job :).

I don't think it's quite there yet to do people like this. I would never attempt it. Give it time. Stock photos are your best bet here. If it's not in the budget, you can search for free images at stock.adobe.com - just select free from the drop down.

You are making a new layer, so you have to save a copy. Flatten the image and you should be able to just save. Skip the stamp image and go right to flatten. I'm assuming you don't want to save a copy with the layers...

It's not an organizer, it's a file browser. I use it instead of my Mac Finder - or Windows Explorer. It has fantastic features that are missing / lacking in the OS file browsers. It has batch capbilities, collections, export to other file formats, the best previews, you can see all the thumbnails for mulitple page documents, scrub through video, so much more.

It looks like your Mac meets them - maybe as Lumigraphics says - is your hard drive formatted as case sensitive?

"It's a shame that so many people don't understand why Bridge is so useful and what it can do for them."
I agree! I LOVE Bridge. I use it for so many things. Anytime I'm using AI, PS or ID, when I have a bunch of files to organize I open mutliple windows and drag and drop everything, if I need to change / add metadata to an image, If I need to preview a muliple page document like a PDF or InDesign file, when I get frustrated with LRC and want organize stuff I just do it in Bridge and then synchronize my folders in LRC, when I want to see into folders, view only certain types of images in folders, etc. It's fantastic and I wish there were some great video tutorials out there to point people to. I have been wanting to make some for years, but I just haven't gotten around to it.

That doesn't make any sense, it should work. Are you sure you are turing off the layer below - the original layer so you can see the new one?
Try selecting the inverse. If you have the tree selected, and you contract the selection, select the inverse (cmd + shift + i) and then delete - you should be left with the inside of the tree.
I used generate to make a tree. I used the object selection tool to select it. I contracted by 10 pixels and jumped the selection to a new layer - it's smaller (the one on the left).

ACR is not Bridge and you can edit in ACR as much as you want. No need to open your image in PS and no need to save as TIF. You can simply edit and click done. Then edit as many times as you want.

I love the new Core Tools Workspace. It's perfect for teaching beginners. I have a couple of things that I would like see improved.
1. I think the crop tool should go below all of the selection tools. The selection tools have always been the top tools and the crop tool is in the way between the lasso and object selection tool.
2. The ... for accessing the rest of the tools is weird. If I click on it I get a random tool that pops up - I should get access to all the tools. If I right click I get all of the tools and have to select eidt tool bar at the top. The funcionality needs a little work.

You can also drag and drop from Bridge or you desktop to add an image to your current file. The reason you received answers for tabbing and tiling is beause of how you asked your question. You asked how to open multiple images in PS. What you should have asked is how to add a picture to an existing document. You have to be very precise with what you are asking here in the communtiy.

Something changed with the Note Tool recently. I only use it to teach. I have a hard time selecting it now. You should be able to slect the note tool and the panel pops open with the text already selected (highlighted). If it's not selected you should be able to do a cntr+a to select all then your copy paste shortcuts or just right click on the text to access copy. Your shortcut should includ cntr - preventing it from typing anything.
