I'm still trying to reproduce the same issue you are having on my own 22R pen display using the fluid brush. The only thing that remotely comes close is if I slide all of the Fluid brush sliders (Properties panel) to the right (100), I notice a slight drag in the lines I draw. Not nearly as slow as what you are experiencing. If you drag all sliders to 0, do you notice an increase in drawing performance?

As kglad said, as long as you have an OS that supports it - I believe you need a 32bit OS specifically.

I noticed when you drew on your pen display, the cursor was very far off calibration. Was that on purpose for demonstration reasons?

Hmmm I'm almost all out of ideas tbh. Only Animate running, updated drivers, reinstalled, etc. What happens when you draw in any other application - say Photoshop or Illustrator? Does unchecking/checking "Zoom size with stage" change anything?

Also, make sure you don't have any other pen display drivers still installed (such as Wacom or others).

I am on an Apple M1 using an XP-Pen 22R Pen Display and having no issues. So I started comparing your display specs against mine... Yours: https://www.storexppen.com/buy/artist-13-pro.html Mine: https://www.storexppen.com/buy/artist-22r-pro.html Notably both displays have the same response time of 14ms My driver build is Ver 3.2.3(build: 6sf1c29) I suspect this is a conflict with your CPU/OS - you on windows?

You need to encode it using H264 compression - open Adobe Media Encoder or another video-based application and export it using H264 compression and then try importing again to Animate.

Can you make sure no other applications are running that may have those files opened? Try rebooting your computer completely and then launch just PP and try again. That's what would be the first thing I'd try. Report back please.

Are you 32bit or 64bit? I suspect you could be 32bit and 2019 requires 64bit OS. I don't recall if 2019 requires 64bit or not tho.

As kglad and the Animate warning says, embedded videos will not be included with export. Use a video editor like Premiere Pro to combine both the original imported video with the exported video from Animate. keep in mind you willl want to check the box in your Animate export settings to ignore stage color and export with a transparent background and use an export format that supports an alpha channel. I typically use Quicktime + Apple ProRes 4444 with Alpha for this. Treat imported video as purely a reference track and combine later in a video editor.

kglad is correct here. If you hide your first layer you'll see how your 2nd layer drawing has a huge open end. If you want to draw and fill like this, keep it all on 1 layer. Otherwise, close all shape/line art before using the Bucket tool. Or, use the Brush tool and the Paint Behind Sub-selection to draw your fill color behind the outline color and then fill it.

Try what kglad suggested and if that still doesn't solve it, I would uninstall Animate, check for updates to the CC app, run any malware or anti-virus software, reboot, reinstall.

If your audio is set to Stream and you still can't hear it - can you give us the spec on your actual audio file? Sample rate and bit depth is what you need to pay attention to. Generally, when using WAV or AIFF files, it's best to use 16-22 kHz mono sounds (stereo uses twice as much data as mono), but Animate can import either 8- or 16-bit sounds at sample rates of 11, 22, or 44 kHz.

Oof! That's tough. Try these steps: Sign out and back in again to Adobe CC app. Go to the applications folder of your machine (Explorer/Programs...) and launch Animate from the Adobe Animate folder (find the .exe). Report back.

XP-Pen displays are good. 1345x755 is a little on the low side in terms of resolutions. Can you bump it up to 1920x1080?

Refresh rate could be an issue - I was using a display tablet at the time I saw the artifacts. I didn't think to switch over to the MBP display. I will next time and report back.

I saw artifacts on my M1 last night inside a pretty simple FLA with a pretty simople animation. I scrubbed the timline back and forth a bit and it went away. What happens if you let the timeline play through once and loop back again? Do the artifacts go away the 2nd time around?

Are they interactive? If not, you could open/play the SWF in a browser and use screencapture software such as Quicktime to record the browser and then export to video.

Ok I made a very quick tutorial showing how I separated a dog's tail in Photoshop. Imported to Animate. Converted to symbols, applied the Asset Warp Tool. Inserted keyframes and animated the tail looping insiode a nested Graphic symbol.

Yeah, unfortunately, even when it works, you can come back to the file over time and find it's totally corrupt. I've experienced this several times with critical files. I now have hard drives just dedicated to backing up FLA files on a daily basis.

I did my Adobe MAX session on exactly this; IUmport a PSD into Animate, rig bitmaps using the Asset Warp tool, insert keyframes, manipulate images' bone armatures, apply classic tweens and easing. My recorded session won't be available for another week or so but all you need to do is import your dog image and apply a bone armature using the Asset Warp tool. Choose the bone type and go from there. I'll try and create a quick video tutorial if you need it.

The Asset Warp tool works with vectors also. If you want to prevent Animate from auto-converting your vector art to bitmaps, go to Preferences > Drawing and uncheck that box! Do you have each body part on it's own layer after importing your AI file? Make sure you select the asset(s) you want "rigged" individually before applying an Asset Warp pin.
