Hi, It's done by script! Not automatic! … By experience, it's not really important: if the layout moves, e.g. adding "Planet" before "Coruscant", just play the script again! The rule above is for the left side and the rule below the right one. You can define the "horizontal gap" between the rule and the text. The script "extracts" the perfect X-offset of the beginning and the end  of the text "Coruscant" and subtracts (left) and adds (right) the gap to these 2 numbers. The result is simply perfect without needing to do something except 1 click to run the script. Of course, if -- sample -- you modify this text size everywhere in the doc, just one new click to "redraw/update all the "dots-lines"! … As you see, you can play it with image background! Finally, no need other layout constructions as a table [as Vinny and I did it in the thread he indicated you!]. (^/)  ... View more

1/ Create a personalized stroke [take my settings]: 2/ create a new para style you call "Circle" with a specific para rule: The cell width is "40 mm". The left/right insets are "2 mm". So, the cell text column is … 36 mm [40 - 2 - 2]. So the center of the "text column" is … 18 mm. The "dot" size is "5 mm". So: 18 - 5 = 13 mm! If you define the para rule left/right insets to 13 mm, you see nothing but if 12.99 mm, it becomes cool! To finish, associate this new para style to a new "Circle" cell style! That's all folks! [ Arrêtez d'accabler les pauvres développeurs d'ID !!  ] Disons simplement à Matteo que ses légendes de figure insérées dans des blocs ancrés sont de fait triées par ordre d'insertion du bloc ancré dans le flux [du plus récent au plus ancien] et qu'une numérotation auto est plus que conseillée !! … Donc un comportement tout à fait … normal!
