Yes, just like Abambo said, that is actually an operating system issue, not an issue with CC. And yes, you should look into Bridge. You get it free with your photoshop subscription and its a great tool. You can use it to set up file and folder structures to organize your images, you will be able to see everything in there, even if your OS isn't letting you outside of Bridge. You also have a lot of other tools at your disposal in there that are well worth it. And one other thing... If you go with Bridge, you have the tools built in to import your images from a camera or card or where ever and do things while you import, such as add a copyright, rename the files, etc. One thing you might think about doing is converting them to DNG on import. That is the Adobe RAW format that will save you considerable hard drive space, and you will no longer have to worry about sidecar files like you do when processing NEF files.
