The Remove Tool is great when it's working. It's not working in Photoshop beta 26.

Perhaps a camera raw preference reset will solve the issue:
Hold down the Command key and select Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw (macOS) or hold down the Ctrl key and select Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw (Windows).
Click Yes in the dialog that asks "Delete the Camera Raw Preferences?"

this answer helps to restore some of the lightnung effects. Some functionality in Photoshop, such as 3D and Lighting Effects, still relies on the older Open GL graphics functions. To make these work, an additional preference Preferences>Technology previews>Deactivate Native Canvas has been added. This can be checked and Photoshop restarted to restore 3D functions to where they were in 22.3

Drawing modes no longer apply and that rolldown has been removed. GPU functions are being migrated from OpenGL to DirectX, since Microsoft no longer support OpenGL.
Dual graphics? That's a very common problem with laptops (if that's what you have). In that case you have to disable the integrated Intel GPU.

installed Photoshop CC 2022 yesterday. have also CS6 installed.
ARW sony files can not be opened by camera RAW (14.0.1).
while try to associate via Windows settings Photoshop CC 2022 does not appear as an option for this file type.
Open Bridge, then go to Preferences for Bridge (Edit menu) and try changing the File Association there for ARW.

Hello, indeed, Ps CS6 was coded before high-density displays were widespread... Either you lower the resolution, or you update to a modern version of Photoshop that has more scaling options.

Warning: CC will immediately take over the CS6 licensing. This is fine so long as you subscribe to CC, but if your plan was that CS6 can be there if you stop paying, you will be disappointed.

There are no further updates for ACR for CS6 that I'm aware of, you can of course use the Adobe DNG Converter

Quite honestly this makes little sense and these people can't know what they're asking for. What they should be asking for is minimum pixel dimensions. That's the only meaningful parameter. That a print has to be 300 ppi is just a myth, maintained by people who don't know what it means. 300 ppi is a theoretical upper limit for offset print, beyond which no improvement is technically possible (if printed with a standard 150LPI screen). But that doesn't mean you can see any difference between 300 and 290. It doesn't apply for inkjet. Each inkjet printer has its own optimal resolution - in Epson it's usually 360 ppi. Anyway - PNG being metric means they will probably never get a PNG that is exactly 300.
