I have the same problem, but I do not need the reset at startup, but I would like to trigger this manually. Because the bug of the moved panels in indesign is caused every time the mac wakes up. Or is it possible to trigger the script at 'awake' instead of 'startup'? Still not understanding why Adobe does not resolve this bug with Indesign. They where able to resolve the same bug with Photoshop and Illustrator…, is Indesign not important, less users? ... View more

Hi, as told above I had the same on many adobe products, but (after a long while) Adobe has resolved them in Photoshop and later in Illustrator… but Indesign not. Adobe Bug Team says that the bug is resolved, but it's NOT TRUE that the bug is resolved in Indesign 19.2 – I use 19.5 and I still have this issue. Since 2021 Adobe knows this bug, but Adobe is extremely slow in solving problems. (the are more faster in rising the subscription fee…) After years in suffering this bug, Adobe slowly resolved it in Photoshop, and lastly in Illustrator – BUT NOT in Indesign, the program I use most. You can image the 'joy' of using Indesign when the mac goes to sleep 5-10 times a day and 5-10 times a day I need to reset workspace to have alle windows and panels on the right place. It's such a sensless work every day. It's over 3 years that I did this reset probably for around 6,000 - 10,000 times!! Wow, what a joy about this timewasting work. Same for the other two products for over 2 years. With every update I hope to get this bug resolved, but Adobe is disappointing me every time. So when will this bug be resolved?? Find enclosed a tipical situation after the awake of the mac, all panels of the second monitor are on the first/main monitor and I need to reset the workspace. Ok, seems that 4444 ist the best of the best. In fact the prerendering was a bit slower (46 Min instead of 38 Min on apple m3 max). Hi, for Illustrator and Phoshop the problem is finally, after many years, resolved. But Indesign, the program I use most, the problem is still here. 5-10 times a day resetting workspace is not really a fun. My 'annoyance' was that the result seemed to be ok and I discovered it randomly checking the curves. In other cases (see 2 screenshots at 100%) the very bad and/or low res result was immediately clear and so I extended the background pattern 'old style' manually, photoshop AI did not help. That where 2 cases where I think the AI-Power could resolve it in just some clicks. I was shocked seeing the undefined (globe) or blurry (sunglasses) images. ... View more
