Hello, I had a Premiere file i was editing on my m1 max mac, in v24. After a few hours of editing, I tried opening the file again to the error: "The project could not be loaded, it may be damaged or contain outdated elements." I looked online, logged out and in of Adobe Creative Cloud, restarted my computer, re-installed the software, tried to recover an auto save of the file, tried to use Premiere (Intel) version, nothing worked. I read about opening it on another computer and sending yourself a new saved copy with the media unlinked, so that night I slack'd myself the file, opened it at home on a windows machine (it opened,) saved it as a new file, sent it back to myself, the next day I went back to my Mac at work, tried to open the file, it didn't work. I then uninstalled and reinstalled premiere pro, then opened the file, NOW IT WORKED! 🙂 I made some edits, exported some things, then closed premiere to bring the clips into Capcut to use their beautify features. I then tried to re-open the Premiere project file, to do some more edits, AND THE FILE BECAME CORRUPTED AGAIN! I don't know why this is happening. I need to be able to use this file for work. Hope someone can help. I've attached both the original file and the windows re-save if anyone knows how to repair files or look at that sort of thing. Best wishes

hey there, so sorry this is happening to you. it's happening to me too. I'm actually learning how to edit video on Blender for my hobby projects because it's so darn fast and lightweight... Final cut and resolve rub me the wrong way sometimes... But never as much as this "your system has run out of application memory" issue.... If you have any luck regarding premiere please do let us know! I appreciate your candor and feel very seen 🙂 I can't believe that I can't use the new machine I bought to do my job right now because of this.

BUY SOME GOOD BOOKS AND STUDY UP? You gotta be kidding me, this is the YouTube University generation. Of course workflow efficency on amateur tutorials isn't going to be one hundred percent efficent all the time, but the video, goal-oriented, learning approach is so damn helpful that even Adobe is mimicing this learning style in their own new in-application tutorial learning support. Stop gatekeeping, and try to help instead of playing headmaster. While it's never a bad idea to brush up on documentation and literature, screaming "reading the manual" ISN'T helpful, nurturing, or good advice.
