I'm not familiar with White wall (or any other printing service) - I do my own printing.
However, for the highest quality print, prepare the tiff at the exact printing dimensions, so that it will not be scaled in the printer driver.
You can save a tiff directly from ACR (Adobe Camera Raw), which has the advantage that you can apply output sharpening when saving. If you need to do edits in Photoshop, open it full size, and after editing, open the image in the Camera Raw filter (Filter > Camera Raw filter). This has the same editing tools as ACR, but is for rendered (non-raw) files.
You get the same Save options as in ACR, and can add output sharpening.
You can experiment with different sharpening settings – go back in History and run the filter again with different settings.
Remember to view the image at 100% to evaluate sharpening.
If you do the sharpening on a copy of the background layer, you can reduce the opacity of the sharpening layer to fine tune the sharpening.

Hello, how can I increase the size of the text in LRC?
By @christopheb53695260
You can adjust the font size in Preferences > Interface.
If you're on Windows, there are quite a few sizes to choose from. If you're on a Mac, the choices are more limited.

"Lightroom 5.7 is no longer available and supported with 64 Bit system.

This is very suspicious. Adobe stopped selling LR 6 many years ago, (LR is now subscription only) and this looks like a scam.
Do not accept this offer. If you install the "upgrade", it might contain viruses and malware.
Who exactly did you contact? Adobe support is only available by chat.

Opening a different catalog shouldn't affect the font size, but you can change it by going to Edit > Preferences > Interface.

I'm glad that fixed it for you, but reinstalling rarely fixes anything.
I take it that you chose to keep the preferences when uninstalling?
I have used PS for over twenty years (not a heavy user, I do most of my work in LrC), and have only had to reset the preferences once. I just deleted the preferences file, which fixed the issue, and everything was in the right place when I relaunched PS.

Raw files will open in the Camera Raw plugin, from where you can open them (actually new files rendered from the raw files) in Photoshop.
The size of the rendered files depend on your settings in the the workflow options in the Camera Raw preferences.
For images to open full size, Image Sizing must be unchecked.
The workflow options can be accessed by clicking the text at the bottom of the Camera Raw window, or you can press Ctrl + K to open the preferences.
You can also open the preferences from Photoshop – Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw.

Try resetting the preferences, use the manual method described here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/ie/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually
Instead of moving the entire settings folder, try to move only the preferences file first.
It's named Adobe Photoshop 2025 Prefs.psp.
If that doesn't help, move the whole settings folder to the desktop. If neither helps, you can move the old settings folder back into place.
Does this only happen when pressing L, or are other tool shortcuts affected as well?
Have you tried a different keyboard?

This happens because you have pressed the Alt key before pressing L.
Pressing the Alt key once on Windows activates single letter shortcuts for the menus, the associated letter will be underlined in the menu item. The L will be underlined in the Layer menu.
Pressing Alt again will turn the feature off.
I don't have any problems with this, but it can apparently be disabled.

You have to view the tiff at 100% as well.
This is how digital images work – you cannot expect everything to display correctly at other magnifications than 100%.
Sharpness, noise, chromatic aberration, moiré – and gradients – must be viewed at 100%.
When an image is scaled, it gets resampled, and the resampling will change the appearance of image detail.
Each application does this in its own way, so when viewing an image in different applications at the same magnification (other than 100%), it will not display the same in all the applications.
At 100% view, all applications (even basic image viewers) will display identically.
Thanks and sorry for using the insert button wrong. i didnt know better,

This is not your fault - blame the designers of the forum software.
There's a very prominent Attach feature that encourages users to attach images, which makes it very awkward for other users to view them.

The Adobe employee already tried everything possible with the GPU, but he couldn’t trace the problem back to that.
By @anton_7599
I suggest that you try this yourself, and make sure to view the image at 100%. (not just zoomed in, but at exactly 100%)
In Photoshop, go to the menu item Preferences > Performance (I believe it's in the Photoshop menu on a Mac), and uncheck Use graphics processor. Then (still in Photoshop) go to Preferences > Camera Raw, go to the Performance tab, set Use graphics processor to Custom, then uncheck Use GPU for image processing.
Now restart Photoshop to be absolutely certain that the changes are applied.
If images now display identically at 100% in both applications, enable the GPUs (one at a time, followed by a PS restart) to establish which one is the culprit. Let us know how it goes.

Do you still see a difference when viewing at 100% in both applications?
This is the only view that will present you with a true representation of the image – one image pixel is represented by one screen pixel.
If you see a difference at other magnifications (like Fit on screen), it will most likely be caused by image scaling.
Different applications use different algorithms (like smoothing and sharpening) when scaling images.
And it could well be that Camera Raw and Photoshop use different scaling algorithms.
But at 100% they should display identically. If they don't, does it make any difference if you disable the GPU in one or both applications?

Update: I think there is a mistake in the Adobe page and this is probably Lightroom 6.12, not Lightroom Classic 9.12 (which I think never existed). So update to 6.12 after installing 6.0 from the CD.
By @JohanElzenga
9.12 refers to Camera Raw version, 6.12 refers to perpetual Lightroom version.

I've had Lightroom 6 for several years with a Nikon D7500 and everything worked wonderfully when I had Windows 10 on my computer. Now I have Windows 11, so I had to reinstall Lightroom 6 from my CD. I still have the same Nikon D7500 camera but Lightroom no longer reads .nef files. Error message: "The file is not recognized by Lightroom's Raw format support." This type of message usually appears when you change your camera but it's not my case since 2022, I have the Nikon D7500 with Lightroom 6 and everything was fine. Why after switching from Windows 10 to Windows 11 it doesn't work anymore?
By @diane_1954
The Nikon D7500 requires Lightroom 6.12 or later, and when you install from the CD you will get version 6.0, which cannot read the D7500 files. You probably had version 6.12 or later installed before you upgraded to Windows 11.
Here's a link to download the 6.14 installer for Windows. The page takes a long time to load, so be patient.

Different raw converters will have different initial renderings. The initial rendering is just a starting point.
The image rendered by Serif Labs seems to be using a heavy vignette, which I imagine you can disable.
I have never used Affinity, so I can't provide you with any details.
The Apple Core version creates a version that needs virtually no post work, providing it was correctly exposted in the first place! I wanted to see how Adobe's version works.
To see how Adobe applications render your raw files, you have to open them in in Camera Raw or Lightroom/Lightroom Classic. Using the DNG converter does not affect the rendering of the image.
The DNG converter does not work on individual files, it only works with folders.
Select a folder that contains raw files, and that's it. You will not see any files in the Select folder dialog.
Ignore "No items match your search".

I don't use an iPad, so I can't help you with the export options, I use Lightroom Classic and Photoshop on Windows.
In Lightroom Classic there's an option in Preferences > External editing for what color space to use when editing in Photoshop, and the default is ProPhoto. (I have it set to Adobe RGB)
Is there a similar option on the iPad? If there are no options for converting to sRGB and embedding the profile when exporting. I would set this option to sRGB.
The image with the muted colors is almost certainly created in ProPhoto – when I assigned ProPhoto in Photoshop, it displayed exactly the same as the other image you posted.
Also BTW, both images that you posted are jpgs, not PNGs.
To establish what color space an image has in Photoshop, click the little arrow bottom left on the taskbar status bar, and choose Document Profile.

This looks like an image in the ProPhoto color space that has been exported without checking Convert to sRGB and Embed profile, and then opened in a web browser.
Web browsers will assign the sRGB profile to untagged images (that don't have an embedded profile), and since the image was created in ProPhoto, sRGB is the wrong profile, and the colors wiil be muted.
When I open the image in Photoshop and assign the ProPhoto profile, it displays correctly.
Always check Convert to sRGB and Embed profile when exporting.

You already have DNG files straight from the camera.
Although it is possible to run them through the DNG converter, there is little point in doing so.
I downloaded a sample DNG from the DJI Mini 4 Pro, converted it to DNG in the converter, and the two files are identical in every way. The only difference is the file size – the original is 24 MB, the converted file is 14 MB. The reduced file size is caused by the lossless compression that the DNG converter uses. Your drone might have a setting for using lossless compression, check it out.
The DNG format was introduced by Adobe in 2004.
It is an open format, and free for anyone (like camera manufacturers) to use. Not many camera manufacturers are using it, but quite a few photographers (including myself) convert their proprietary raw files (NEF, RAF and so on) to DNG.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Negative
... the latest version of the .DNG converter (17.1) for Mac. I've downloaded it, but it doesnt recognise any of my .DNG files. They are all greyed out.
Where are they greyed out? I've never seen files greyed out in the DNG converter.
The only error message I have seen is this one, which displays if the chosen folder doesn't contain any raw files.

For a valid comparison, you must view the image at 100% in Lightroom and Photoshop, as well as in any other application.
At 100% view, one image pixel is represented by one screen pixel, giving you a true representation of the image.
Sharpness, noise, chromatic aberration, moiré and other image detail will only display accurately at 100%.
Any other view will be inaccurate and misleading because the image has been scaled.
Different applications use different algorithms (like sharpening and smoothing) when scaling images.
So comparing two applications at for instance 67% will most likely produce different results.
All applications should display identically at 100%.

People often use DPI when they should be using PPI.
PPI stands for Pixels Per Inch, and is used for printing. Pixel dimensions / PPI = Printed dimensions in inches. In other words – the PPI value describes how many image pixels are used to print one inch of paper.
DPI stands for Dots Per Inch, and is the number of ink dots a printer uses to print one inch of paper. It's a property of the printer, not the image.
For screen viewing, PPI is irrelevant, it's only used for printing.
So set Long Edge to 1440 pixels, and enter 72 in the Resolution field. Unless the image is going to be printed, it doesn't matter what number you enter.

I get the impression that images are in two different catalogs. one for 2024 and one for 2025.
LrC can only have one catalog open at a time, so you have to relaunch with the 2024 catalog to work with the 2024 images.
Having multiple catalogs does not offer any advantages, so I recommend that you merge the two catalogs (and any other catalogs) into one. Open the catalog you want to merge the others into, then go to File > Import from another catalog.

On re-reading your post, I see that you prefer the embedded preview over what you see in Develop.
If you are using a Picture style or similar in your camera, there might be a camera matching profile that tries to mimic the picture style, and you can then set this profile to be applied on import.

Choose any other option when importing to prevent this from happening in the future.
You should also check the option Replace embedded previews with standard previews during idle time in Preferences > General. In any case, the Library preview should update when you do edits in Develop. (Develop uses its own previews, separate from the Library previews)
