In the various community's such as Lightroom Classic, a topic called Featured exists. And in this Using the Community page a topic called Release Notes exist. Neither is exactly used or populated with much info on issues at hand. Neither, unless the Admin, Moderators, etc, start expanding the content in them is being used to bring up current problems, be they with Adobe software versions, OS versions (other than occasional big bad ones) or GPU issues.
Request that a topic called Notifications be added, contents would be sold inputted by Admin and/or Moderators. and perhaps Adobe techs, Content would be known issues
Examples:
- AMD GPU Adeline software causing LrC performance degradation.
- MACOS Version n.n causing LrC lockups
- Adobe minimum recommendation for Camera RAW CACHE updated
- Allowing LrC catalog to be auto copied to One Drive issues
- Smugmug Publish Service problems
- Existing GPU's with known issues
- Do Not place LrC catalogs on network shares
- Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, perpetual, no longer supported
- Features no longer supported on sunsetted applications
- Images grayed out in import screen
- Attempt to import with MACOS n.n comes up with error about access.
- etc
Point being, current issues could be shown and viewed directly without searching.
Why not in Release Notes? Well that topic does not show up in all community's, and it just talks to points about new releases.
Why not Featured? Well that one occasonally might have a immediate alert about say Apple missing with security, But appears mostly about tips, not fixes.
