Obligatory Captchas of various forms are a common occurrence on websites. But some Captchas are not what they seem. It usually starts on websites that provide popular content. Nobody thinks twice when asked to prove they are not a robot. But when a Captcha invokes another set of 'verification steps,' it's likely that you've encountered a FAKE. DON'T DO what it tells you to do. It could put your computer at risk for malware. https://www.malwarebytes.com/blog/news/2025/03/fake-captcha-websites-hijack-your-clipboard-to-install-information-stealers
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSVHQigxJVE In 2021, Tesla engineers tried to convince Musk not to give up on radar for its Autopilot and Full Self-Driving effort. The automaker decided to remove its front-facing radar and ultrasonic sensors. An approach called "Tesla Vision ” where the automaker believed that the best way to achieve self-driving is through cameras. Some Tesla engineers were aghast. Without radar, Teslas would be susceptible to basic perception errors if the cameras were obscured by raindrops or bright sunlight, problems that could lead to crashes. Musk was unconvinced and overruled his engineers. Soon after, the company began disabling radar and the result was an uptick in crashes, near misses and other embarrassing mistakes by Teslas without the critical sensors. Later, Tesla introduced a new radar sensor, a better version of the previous radar, but not by much. Given its narrow field of view and it's placement behin

I have a product image of seven bracelets laying on a white background . Each bracelet has a unique stone and all of the bracelets together lay on a light colored background. Each bracelet has created a small shadow from the lights used. I'd like to color(ize) the shadow of each bracelet to be the color of the unique stone in each bracket (still looking like a shadow but carrying the tone of the unique stone). Can anyone suggest an easy way to do this? Here's what I tried: select the main subject, invert. However this selects the background and I want just the shadows. I also tried using the color replacement brush but I could not get this to work properly. Thoughts or ideas?

Our gas furnace (right side pipe) and our gas water heater vent through the side of the garage, and the vent pipes go up through the plastic rain roof so all the exhaust gases (especially any possible carbon monoxide) don't get trapped under the rain roof to go in the house when the door is open... we have a plug in carbon monoxide detector near the gas cooktop in the kitchen, but the two vent pipes from the garage are just common sense to eliminate any problems. To hide the pipes I built a red painted 2x4 frame that will, after the weather is warm enough to put a fresh coat of paint on the garage wall, have SMALL hole lattice cut and mounted
Sometimes I wonder how such a big company not able to fix very simple and obvious bugs and uncomfortable features. But when I tried just to write a recommendation on improvement to Adobe team- I realized why they are so blind to user experience. You just can't contact them. No mail for feedback, nothing. Go to Adobe community or talk to silly bot who not understand what I want (I mean, 2025 year. You have ai generative image and videos software, bit can't implement a chat smarter than: "if you want this- press 1, if you want that- press 2"). It just make me feel frustrated. For the money I pay for it- I just can't have a simple email to contact and write message (I don't even need answer). So, if someone know how to write a feedback or recommendation on improvement- let me know
Spain’s new anti-deepfake law gives massive fines for unlabeled AI content https://bgr.com/tech/spains-new-anti-deepfake-law-gives-massive-fines-for-unlabeled-ai-content/ While the Trump administration made it clear that it’s not interested in heavily regulating AI, other countries are taking a different approach. Spain has a new law that will hit companies with fines of up to $38 million, or 7% of their annual turnout, for AI content that’s not properly labeled as such. Proposed legislation also bans other AI practices, like using subliminal techniques to manipulate people into engaging in dangerous or destructive behaviors.
A bunch of years ago, I decided to make an animated scifi movie in After Effects, so I wrote a script, hired some actors to record the voices and sat in my apartment and meticulously worked on it until it was finished. Now, years later, I was able to get it on to Tubi, the totally free streaming service where the whole world can go and watch it for FREE! It's got a suspenseful AI-themed story, although I made it before AI became the thing it is today. In some ways it was a harbinger of what would come. If you like a good story, animation, suspense and scifi, check it out! — especially if you are into After Effects. I am looking to see if anyone has any resources for integrating AI design within adobe products. Any suggestions or resources?

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a little bit of input on how to handle a weird client situation. So, five and a half years ago (the summer of 2019, to be more specific), I started a project for a client. The project was to typeset/format a book he had written and was planning to self-publish. I gave him a quote, got 50% of the money up front, and did the initial typesetting/formatting of the manuscript in InDesign. We got into the correction/revision phase, and then he went silent. He was an older guy and had already had one massive heart attack, so as time went by and he never got in touch, I figured he'd passed away. Since he had only paid 50%, but I had only done part of the work, I was fine calling it even. So imagine my surprise when he popped into my inbox after five and a half years and said he wanted to finish the project. That wouldn't be so bad, except, like I said, we're at the revision phase, and he's sent me a Word file with so many changes and

Hey everyone,I’m working on a website for a security services company and want to ensure it looks professional, trustworthy, and visually appealing. Since security is all about reliability, I want to use the right colors, fonts, and layouts that give a sense of safety and professionalism.I’ve seen some great examples of security service websites that use clean designs and a professional feel. But I’d love to hear from you all—what design principles or Adobe tools do you recommend for making a security service website stand out?Looking forward to your insights!
NEW BANK FRAUD SCAM drains victims' accounts in minutes, leaving no path for recovery. Here's how it works: victims receive authentic looking fraud alerts from imposters pretending to be from your bank's fraud dept. They look exactly like normal bank fraud alerts. Don't be deceived. Call your bank branch immediately. Don't let "THEM" call you. Do not give scammers your 2-factor authentication codes. If you do, they'll wire transfer money out of your account, which you'll never see again. Watch this video for ways to protect yourself from bank fraud scammers.
I'm not sure how this got on my computer, but now I can't access documents because it says I need a password. How do I find the password or how do I get this off my computer. without loosing my files

I sometimes read or listen to the news about the 'culture wars' happening today with a little bit of wonder... the only social media platform I use is Facebook, and that only once a day to see what some distant friends have to say, so I have to shake my head when someone gets upset about different thoughts and ideas and leaves or threatens to leave FB or X/Twitter or even going so far as to say they are going to move to a different country (how many celebrities who SAID they were going leave the US actually DID leave if 'their' candidate didn't win?).When someone makes a comment I don't like on FB I ignore it and go to the next message... what I really don't like about FB is the list of 'people you may know' who I don't know... and the random links to sites I will never visit that are dropped in when I am on FB... I am not interested in F1 races or used cars or any other crappy sites, so I keep blocking them and more random stuff keeps showing up... oh well, such is life in the digital

Hello, I wanted to share whats been happening with Adobe's decision last year to only allow PearsonVue to administer Adobe cert exams. First, many PearsonVue employees (I assume) havent been informed and continue to send customers to Certiport. Ive been on the phone with an exasperated Certiport support 3 times now, having them explain that they keep sending customers their way when there's nothing they can do. This is serious because customers can't easily resolve issues regarding their tests. Once I was even told to contact Adobe...who has nothing to do with the tests. The second issue is these tests are badly done. I am, no joke, $1000 in trying to get certifications. I need them to teach/tutor. The Illustrator test has failed 3 times, the Photoshop 3 times. InDesign did fine the first time. The technical issues are not on my end. I finally uninstalled CC just to be sure. Firewall permissions are granted. The last Illustrator exam had a message pop u
