I know this is a long shot but it is worth a try. I have been searching for this font and can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know what the name of this font is? I desperately need to find it.
Hi, Where can I find the terms and conditions about Font folio 11.1?I want scope of use about font in Font folio 11.1 !
I downloaded a font that ended up being problematic and causing errors. I deleted this font a few months ago and realized that it is still listed in my Adobe programs. I have the most recent versions. I have cleared my Mac font cache and the Photoshop font cache, and it has made no difference. Every time I'm scrolling through and hover over this font, it throws error messages and has been frustrating me a great deal. Any suggestions to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.
When Adobe ceases support for Type 1 fonts in January 2023, will it only be in then-current versions of software or will it be applicable to older versions as well (for instance, InDesign 14, etc.)? Thanks,Lloyd
I searched myfonts.com, but I can't find it.
I am looking to remove or hide foreign fonts in Adobe Illustrator. Can anyone direct me on how to do this?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with ligatures? I've created an OTF font where I've added a large number of ligature substitutions and they seem to work without issues until the number of words to be substituted exceed 2400-2500. I'm using FontLab to execute the ligature scripts. Currently the font has 1 482, which shouldn't be the reason for the ligature substitutions to fail I guess. Any help would be appreciated. My goal is to understand the limits for ligatures and a possibility to overcome them. Thank You,
Greetings! I own a copy of Adobe Font Folio v8.0 that I purchased about 20-25 years ago and would like to upgrade to v11.1. My questions are: 1. What's the cost for the upgrade? 2. How would I place the order? 3. How many seats come with the new version? Thanks! Moving to Type & Typography community since this has nothing to do with the Adobe Fonts service. - MOD
Hi there,I am wondering what options there are for editing open type fonts for windows? I have a DIN typeface which I would like to edit things such as kerning relationships, bullet point sizes and some automatic glyph choices over others. I don't need to manipulate the design of any of these characters, I just would like to edit their sizing and spacing so it is hardcoded into the font.I am new to this, so are there any free options for something basic like this? Or do I need proper font editing software? All I see are programs which talk about editing the actual letters and such, which I don't think I need..Thanks in advance.
Adobe Pi Std (AdobePiStd.otf), the OpenType replacement for Zapf Dingbats, doesn't seem to be working at all. It's installed by many applications and thus many instances are scattered around my Windows and Mac disks. They are the same version 1.004 and they behave the same:In Windows XP and Mac 10.6.4 applications no glyphs appear (Word, FrameMaker, Illustrator, various type tools, you name it)Microsoft's OpenType Font Validator indicates some flaws in adhering to standards, but in the end, it says it can't be rasterizedThe tool also says that in one place it's indicated to NOT be a symbolic font, and in another, it is.Both platforms have had their caches cleaned and AdobeFnt??.lst files removed.Anyone else see this? The fact that it doesn't work in either platform, and that the validator can't rasterize it, indicates it's a defective font ... but then again, it would have been caught long before today.
I'm looking for a book font similar to Enschede Font Foundry's Trinité but not so ridiculously expensive. There are passing similarities to DTL Documenta, but Trinité looks much less utilitarian. ITC New Winchester also has some of the same features, but it lacks many extended characters and it's kerning is worse. Monotype Columbus also has some similarities, but doesn't do well with smaller font sizes (10). Any suggestions?
Hello, I am working with Illustrator and when I combine pages that appear readable prior to combining, then afterwardds the text appears to almost be bleached out and unreadable at random locations in document? Any hekp would be greatly appreciated in resolving this issue. Thanks
Hi! I am working on creating a website logo and also t-shirt designs for my clothing brand to sell on my website using Adobe illustrator. I am allowed to use the fonts already built into illustrator for both those uses? If not, what are my options?
How do I identify Type 1 fonts in my computer (MacBook)?
As a (somewhat) older designer, I have quite a number of fonts puchased from Adobe that are all Type 1 Postscript fonts. Now we have Apple sending out notices that these fonts will no longer be supported as of 1 January 2023. Does Adobe have an upgrade policy? I have copies of many of my receipts. A concern is that I'm not seeing anything listed in my current Adobe account as to having previously purchased them. More concerning, Helvetica Neue is nowhere to be found. That was not an inexpensive package to purchase. Any information would be welcome.
Hello, I have problems with the font Source Serif Variable. I took this font because it looks friendly for a Christian calendar. I took it in different version, with an without manual setting of the font weight. In InDesign is no problem to see. But while printing you see white holes in the letters; see attachment. In the PDF, the error can only be seen in certain scalings. Does anyone have the same problems? Now the calendars (~ 200'000 pcs.) are ready and its to late. But I want to use the font again - without this problems! Thanks, Burkhard Thread moved to Type & Typography community since Source Serif Variable is not a font currently available via the Adobe Fonts service. - Mod.
I hope this is an appropriate question for the community/forum, but Ive looked everywhere for months and can't figure this out. My wife occassionally uses templett.com. There have been a few fonts that Ive been interested in purchasing, but I have no clue how where to find the fonts, if affordable, or the closest alternative font. The fonts have names on the site, but searches have never produced accurate results on even one of them. I have submitted and inquir to their "contact" support team, but haven't heard back.Does anyone know any info on this matter? Does anyone know where they get their fonts? Any help would be deeply appreciated! Font names:BriannaKingston SansMorning MistBeatrice
I need to find the font name of this type in this image. Does anyone recognize it? The capital letter -C- has a unique top edge that looks like a fang. Thanks all.
As my fonts had stopped syncing (new fonts were not activating on my computer) I tried turning fonts off and on again from the Services Ttab of the settings panel inside the CC app. Although all my fonts are visible in Adobe Fonts online, I now have no Adobe fonts at all on my computer, and de-activating and re-activating fonts doesn't change anything. I've also signed out/in, as well as restarting my computer. Any suggestions?
Hi, I want to build a web app that uses OTF fonts that require advanced features. What I am trying to achieve is to allow a user to type content and then export that content to a database that will export to a print ready PDF that will match the on screen experience. Is there an easy way to achieve this?
Good morning sirs,I have a problem with the "new" Futura PT fonts that we will have to use next year. Is it possible that there are these huge differences in size with the font used now Futura T1?Also in the Futura PT COND I don't see the Futura light cond, is it possible? Thank you
Hi,I am using Illustrator CS5 and need to design a logo for print. However, I was wondering if someone could please shed some light on whether or not I am allowed to use one of the Adobe fonts that came with my application for commercial use such as a logo? Also, what is the difference between the Adobe fonts you can purchase here on this web site versus the fonts that come installed with AI CS5? Would I necessarily have to purchase a license on Adobe.com to use a specific font for a logo?Any assistance is greatly appreciated.Thank you!
I made a typeface using Fontlab 7 and exported to TTF. It's been installed and validated in my Font Book, and I still can't find it in Illustrator (or Word). I tried generating a new Adobe font file, didn't do anything. I've had no problems with other typefaces made using Fontlab, and I can use those in Illustrator. Any suggestions?
