I have the same problem. My country changed to US for some reason and I can't change it back. The Adobe customer support told me that I'm correct - I can't change my address. I asked how do I pay for things if I can't change my billing address? He said I needed to create a new account. I asked, so I can't use my email address anymore? He said no I need to use another email address. Plus new billing history, settings everything, just because I can't update my country. How does this make sense? Adobe can't make a online account system where you can change your address? Then I get this auto-email telling me that they consider my case solved. I saw a link to take a survey. I thought that I could at least let them know I'm upset. I clicked the link and even that didn't work. I started the survey, choose English, click next and was taken to a screen that thanked me for my feedback!
Hi. How can I block the creepos sending me inappropriate messages via my email? This is NOT why I signed up for this! Better yet, how do I report this, and to whom? I can't seem to find anywhere to contact Adobe. Thanks
Since resetting my password following the Great Password Problem, I've been unable to log on with Firefox. I'm using IE10 for now, but that's disgusting. In FF, I'm up-to-date, allowing Flash and (temporatily) all cookies. When I enter ID and Pword in Firefox, the screen goes momentarily blank and returns with the two fields empty. Nothing else happens. In IE, a second screen, asking for more info, appears, and then the site opens properly. What to do?
I've put up a couple of test systems on the Windows 8.1 Preview, both Pro and Enterprise editions.Just testing to see how the forum interacts with Internet Explorer 11. So far so good - I have been able to log in and see things looking pretty much right.Something I'm curious about is whether "quoted" strings are handled properly, because we have seen the double quote character changed to what looks like an HTML escape sequence by the forum software when IE10 under Windows 8 is used to access the forum. So here goes."Quoted text"If the above comes out with double-quote characters at the ends, that will be happy news. Also, in typing this, I noticed that the forum software thinks I'm leaving the page every time I press a control - e.g., the Bold, "Insert Image", or font size controls, and puts this up:-Noel
Here is a message that I received![ message removed by moderator ]
MY computer just started doing this. I have opened adobe documents lots of times with no problems but now it just open the window and then closes it after a few seconds.
I'm trying to contact a moderator to delete a post I made to this forum. It contains two photos that I needed to post in order to have my question answered... but I'd rather not have them public forever. Since a delete option was available before I got a reply, I assumed I would be able to delete it later. Is it possible to contact someone to have this post removed? Linked below. Thanks http://forums.adobe.com/message/5827940#5827940
I'm curious if you delete my posts because I'm critical of the creative cloud? Isn't that a little shady? I thought you'd want to know why we won't use your cloud applications. It's because I don't want you to charge me rent on my projects. I think that is a reasonable thought and not worth censoring.
I am having a problem with Bridge/Photoshop camera raw. I open a jpeg image in Bridge camera raw. I then adjust WB with the WB dropper. Sometimes I make other adjustments sometimes not. Once happy with my adjustments I select open image. The image opens in photoshop. Every time there is a very blue cast like a cool or blue filter has been added. I always have navigator open in photoshop. The image in the navigator window looks clean just like the image did before selecting open image. This is happening with every image and saves with the blue cast if i save. I have updated Adobe and checked my driver for updates. No more updates available. I am using a Dell laptop with Windows 7. I have Adobe Creative Suite 4 installed. Any advice, anyone else experienced this?
Yes I wonder why. Somehow recently I had to sign in again. Before I was automatically done with this procedure when I received a notification to a discusion and so could go straight in. Now when I receive one an click on the link I'm not signed in anymore. But my browser behave in an unusual way too for signing in (Chrome in W7 64 bts), It takes ages to opens a new window, sometimes it says the page is not available but I get it with "reload" and sometimes passed this step I'm signed in (so see "sign out" nest to my user name. Other time this window has field for me to sign in. The box to stay signed in is alway ticked.Thank you for any explaination and solution to get back to the previous situation that was quite satisfactory for me.MM
While looking at lists of content on Adobe TV, I am trying to click on the icon to the far right (resembles a "page" with a + next to it) in order to add stuff to my library queue and it is not working.. alternatively, I could just start the video and use the 'save' feature, but it becomes impractical when trying to add a lot of content to the queue. Am I having a browser issue (won't work in Chrome or Firefox)? or is something wrong with the page. Please let me know if this needs clarification. thanks
Hi. I am new to the Adobe Forums.I have posted a couple of discussions and have replied to others. However, I get no email notifications. Nothing.I have checked my preferences and in the email preferences, I have the YES radio button selected for everything. When I view a topic using Safari, in the right hand panel, I see "Stop Email Notifications" which supposedly means that I am registered to receive notifications via email. Yet nothing happens.I have checked my email address in my profile and it is correct. I have checked by Junk folder in my email client but nothing is in there. Can someone please help me with this very frustrating problem? Thanks in advance.
I've already been posting in the CC section. I've tried the chat support. I'm hoping some staff person here can help. This has been patently frustrating.I can't change my credit card information for my subscription. This does NOT mean that I do not know how to change it. Please don't offer me the canned instruction response. It does not work. It says to try later. It has said this for weeks.I have already tried on 3 browsers.I explained three times to the chat support that I am hearing impaired and cannot do voice conversations at this time. Three times I was told to give my phone number for a callback. My subscription fee is due today. And hitting a card that Adobe allowed to be stolen. Thank you so much for that. Can some competant and qualified person please respond to me with meaningful information on how to solve this issue? I will lose my job without this software. Thank you for holding me hostage like that as well.
Last week I tried to login to Forums, and got a redirect saying I had to reset my Adobe ID password. I did, it works fine at main Adobe site, but I can no longer access forums. I get a "too many redirects" type error message (or something similar) on Safari and Firefox. I tossed cookies and history. Still no luck. I had to sign up as a new member just to post this. Previous user name : Charles Badland.
I just got a request to get to know me better as an official adobe notification, and found out I actually have an e-mail account here at Adobe. How do I turn that off? Why would I automatically be setup with a mailbox, what reputable business does that? I can't find a preference section in my profile to switch it off.
Today I received, in my eMail, a rejection notice. God only knows how these things happen, or why it never appeared in the forum to help the user who was having problems. Perhaps the word "extension" did it in.Hello,You have received this email because the content you posted below has been rejected by our moderators.Re: Could not complete your request because the file-format module cannot parse the file posted Nov 4, 2011 4:22 PM It's just that it's hard to believe that you didn't actually mindlessly type the extension instead of selecting the format (or after accidentally selecting the wrong format), and I don't think any amount of discussion or reassurance can dispel that possibility. I've certainly done things like that myself. The only thing I have to go on is the fact that I've used Photoshop for almost 2 decades and it just hasn't done what you say you're seeing, saving a file with a format different than selected or unexpectedly
So since November I've had nothing but problem with Adobe. First I thought it was mandatory to buy the CS5.5 upgrade to be elligible to upgrade to CS6. The employee I talk to said it was mandatory, so unless I wanted to pay full price for the Suite, I had to purchase CS5.5 Year end money was used and approved which if anyone who works for a company knows, is not the easiest thing to do. Prob two hours of paperwork, dicussion etc. I was suppsed to get the Volume license version, but they sent the wrong version (not my fault) then I had to jump through all kinds of hoops and talk for prob 4 hours trying to get the software to work, but ultimitely had to get an exchange for the correct version. Total of 5 hours on that problem. I get the new version and the zoom is all screwed up in photoshop. It doesn't act like it shuld jumping all over the place. not being able to use the scroll wheel to zoom, etc. I know i spent a full day trying to fix it talking to support, on forum, etc, etc.
I frequently use the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom forum, but lately I've noticed an extremely irksome behavior: i.e., that the forum's list of topics (as shown on my screen) suddenly "jump" about every 15 seconds--evidently because the topic list is automatically being updated to show the very latest posts. This incessant "live" updating of the forum contents makes it difficult and quite frustrating to simply read the list of posts and/or to make a selection from the topics. This unwanted behavior happens on the desktop monitor as well as my mobile devices, so I assume it's a behavior intrinsic to the Adobe Forums rather than my computers. How frustrating it is to attempt to click on a particular post and find that the spot you were trying to hit has suddenly jumped away, and so you hit something you didn't "aim" for!I've searched for an option to disable this "feature" but haven't found a way to do it. Surely there must be a way to eliminate the behavior--it doesn't seem to be an is
Why is it no longer possible to start a forum discussion via email. It used to be that each email notification from the Forums came with a "start a new discussion" link which opened in the default email client. Now that link is to the web only. It doesn't seem possible to start a discussion via email.Am I missing something? What does Adobe gain by forcing users to the clunky web interface? Thanks,Ariel
I'm trying to mix two font together, but they don't have the same x-height. Is there a way I can adjust this? How would I match the x-heights of two existing fonts?
In the small print when buying the Students Creative Cloud package at £15.88pm it says "The price is valid for a full 12 months. After that, we'll renew your contract automatically unless you cancel" I'm curious as to how long I will need to pay this monthly charge... If its 1 year then that's it then great! I'll gladly pay up, but if it's over a year I'm not too sure about it. I;m hoping someone on here can clarify for me as I don't fancy calling the American hepline number from the UK on my mobile phone. Thanks
How do I convert a Word doc into an earlier version of pdf - eg 1.3?
How do I delete a question I posted to a forum? After discussing that question with a few people, I identified my problem, and I posted a new question specifically about that problem. I'd like to delete my original question, but can't figure out how to do it.
Why do adobe send me e-mails in german just because i live in switzerland!? I don't read german, french is ok, but why don't you guys stick to the english and live an option on account information to change the language of contact!
