Okay, so I downloaded Premiere Elements and eagerly installed it. Expected some minor issues with vst plugs but nothing that couldn't be overcome. No such luck. Premiere gets stuck when the scan arrives at the ImageLine FL Studio 9 dll (Rewire, I suppose) and crashes immediately after giving some issues with Native Instruments before that. I run a quite extensive Virtual Studio with around 12Gig in the VST folder alone and changing this is not an option. (paths!)After contacting the technical help desk in Holland it is clear Premiere offers no solution to this problem. And it seems so logical to have an opportunity to instruct Premiere NOT to scan for (additional) VST's or to exclude certain folders.One solution I found is to move the VST folder to another partition when I decide to do some work on video. On the other hand: that's 12Gig everytime and it shouldn't be nescecary. Solutions anyone?Maybe Adobe would do well to check in to this. http://soundcloud.com/synopsis-decay

It's really pissing me off that Adobe chooses to use a forum frontend that does not support the Opera browser. Makes me have to go out of my save habitat, log all in again with a forgotten password through a browser I don't like, for no apparent reason because there's plenty of forums out there that don't have fanboy browser issues.Here's the fun thing. Ever wonder how Opera got magically installed on your OSX Mac? Because from Creative Suite 3 and up, it is included with the Adobe software.This isn't right, Adobe guys. You should either pay Jive Software a bunch of money to support Opera, or switch to other forum software that has no browser issues. There's plenty of free ones.

As reported in another thread, I think that the reason for being logged out every time I close my browser is a problem with my Adobe ID. My current ID is NOT my email address, but when I try to log in, I am prompted with my address, not with my ID. And I cannot log in using my address, because this is not paired with my password, while my ID is.In an attempt to solve this problem, I decided changing my email address to a new one. I went to Your account in the top line, and followed all the steps to change my email address -which I was warned would change my Adobe ID, just what I wanted. I even checked the box indicating that I wanted to use my email address as my ID.Well, my email address was duly changed, but my Adobe ID was not: I still had to log in using my non email address Adobe ID. My question consists in knowing if i can use this software with commercial use in mind ex: architecture imaging. It says home edition in the box. Or does this means that its optimized for the causal home user? Like Windows XP Home edition vs Professional? Thank you

Hello, every time i save my work in dreamweaver i notice that the line in my code double and sometimes tripple... i.e. befor i save it i will have 256 lines of code and after i save it i will have 800 plus and it breaks up all my lines of code.... how do i fix this??thanks

Trying to think the best way to word this.Ok so I have owned the Adobe CS4 Web Premium collection for about 8 months now and I have been using it on my PC.  But I have just purchased an iMac and I was wondering about the following:- Would it be best to run my Adobe products through either BootCamp, Parallels, or Fusion on my Mac?- Since I have purchased CS4 for my PC would Adobe be able to provide me with a Mac compatible version?- Does Adobe allow for exchanges? My PC version for a Mac compatible one?Some Help would be greatly appreciated.

A number of issues have cropped up due to / during / after the update of the forums from 2.5.7 to 2.5.16 at the beginning of this week. This is a list of those issues as I have compiled them. I read this by a MOD in another thread..."When you log in to the forums (either manually or automatically based on a "Remember me" cookie)"How the hell do we get that "Remember Me" cookie to work?!  Not once since the Jive switch have I been automatically logged in, despite checking that box nearly every single time.  If I close my browser, I HAVE to manually log in again, every time.  That SUCKS!I want my auto logins back!  Like everyone had in the old forums.

Hi,I would like to install the CS4 designing premium upgrade to my new iMac. It's using the new 10.6 OS. My previous Mac 'past away' over three years ago.  How do I install upgrades and bypass the installation of older version(s) first?  I do owned the full version of each individual software from CS4 designing premium in the past, including the ones Adobe acquired from Macromedia.  I also bought and used all the sequential upgrades of each individual software as they came out.  However, my purchase of CS3 package came right after my Mac died, so I never register that package's softwares.Thank you,George

I met with problems installing CS4 on my computer with the recent release of Windows 7 32bit. And EUREKA! I was able to install it and I would love to share with every one!My problems are:The software "hangs" while installing especially at the part where the windows shows "Overall Progress". And it just "hangs" there and I don't know wether it's installing or not but it seems to run. Even when I tried to run it on Vista SP2 or run it as Administrator, the same problem continues to happen. And I hit the error "1620".What I did:Firstly, I run the setup by choosing it to run on Windows XP platform with SP3 (instead of Vista platform). You can do so by going to the setup files, right click on the Autorun.exe and select Properties. Go to the Compatibility Tab, and choose to run it on Windows XP platform with SP3. And also go in to the setup folder where the other setup.exe is there, do the same thing by choosing the windows xp platform with SP3.It then arrived to the the same problem where

The concept of customer service is a complete joke at Adobe.AGAIN, I was promised a response from Tier 2 support and AGAIN I've received no call. I got another call from Tier 1 to "promise me" that a call from Tier 2 would be coming. I've heard that line at least 6 times now.Apparently in AdobeWorld, 24-48 hours for a response actually means 89+ days.I've been trying for 89 days now (since September 30) to get this stupid product (Dreamweaver) working again. It was working and now quits with an error that "Licensing for this product has stopped working."I've done everything Adobe has suggested at Tier 1 support (multiple times) and it has been escalated to Tier 2. Since Tier 2 has not called me back for 89 days, despite at least 6 promises of a call by Tier 1, I can only conclude that "escalated" is defined as "run through the shredder".I'm now posting this everywhere I can find to get it resolved.Why would I EVER recommend Adobe products with such shoddy care of their customers?

I'm trying to install captivate 4 (trial version) and its stuck on "Adobe Captivate 4 Installer: Initialization 90%". At the bottom it says; "Checking System profile"I have tried all suggestions on the support page to no avail. Please help. Mike

I would like to know why I have to reset Photoshop Cs2 preferences often.  Every week the brushes doesn't work, so I have to press Ctrl, Alt and Shift.  I went into the nine preferences box and reset everything.  I also did my color settings and save the settings.  Is there a way that I can stop resetting the preferences so often?. Maybe this is not the correct forum to post to, but I just spent some time in one of the Adobe fora, that has not seen much traffic lately. I had to open each thread to see when the posts were made.In many fora, that I frequent, the OP date is shown in the header info on the main page, below the poster's I.D. Is something like that possible with the Jive software? It could be useful.I hate to resurrect "zombies," but it happens, especially if one just looks at the title and then opens the thread to reply. I keep getting wind of different longtime faithful participants who have been banned. I can't help but think that many of these are a mistake. So many who are gone were among the most helpful when users needed help.Can someone who is in authority please offer an explanation? I have turned off email notificationsover and over as well as checked the no boxes for emailin my profile. No matter what I do the email notifications continue.I will need to de activate my membershp if the emails do not stop.Thank you,Leslie
