Where does one go to get a forum account straightened out? Through no action of my own, my forum account (JETalmage) suddenly started acting like it was a new account, and all my many existing posts became marked as JETalmage-mzVC8V. That account contains my avitar, history, etc. I didn't do this; the system did. Who can fix it?Thanks,JET

Set-up:I'm running a fast machine (i7CPU 920@2.67 GHz - it has 4 cores) with lots of ram (12 gig) on a cleanly installed system 7, nothing else running in the background at this point). Three hard drives - main application drive (640 gig) and two raid 0 1 tB drives for video storage.) My graphics card is a GeForce GTX 260. I have updated all computer drivers and am running newest version of adobe CS4 (4.21).Problem:Whenever a project gets to a certain size (say 50-80 clips) my computer freezes. I don't have the problem on smaller projects - but when I get near a threashold it continually freezes.  My clips are HD files (1080p and the source files can be between 30 and 50 gigs on larger projects). I don'tbelieve it is a corruption or caompatibility problem as it only happens on larger projects. Same problem happened on Vista as well - don't think it's a windows issue.Questions:1. Is there an optimum set-up / configuration for CS4 ( i thought I was close - but obviously I'm not) to

I'm noticing a Run Count of 2 beside the test i'm working and only the one I'm working on.  Why is it running twice?  How did I do that?  I was thinking it would only run once.  Where do I configure this?

I have windows XP and I recently installed a 9 version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.  Since then a receive the following error message: "The Adobe Acrobat/Reader that is running can not be used to view PDF files in a Web Browser.  Adobe Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9 is required."  I had installed the 9 version.  Any idea why this is happening or more importantly, what should I do to fix it?

I am using my account as normal and noticed today that I can't edit anything I post because there's another account with some extensiondan.biran-O6kKQK that does the post for me so I can't fix my posts... so there's a profile that I don't have access to and it hinders me from correcting my posts.

It is about 2 months that I payed for my DVD Elements 8,still nothing.I wrote a emails but no answer at all.Finaly I call office in Paris and they let me downloaded but then the MP4 files dont work .Adobe,you really did a great work,I think that you should think a little bit about what are you doing.There a lots of others who did a great work for less money,I am shure that this is the last time I bought something from you.

After about 20 characters Jive inserts an automatic carriage return.  Very annoying.I have found that if I press enter twice before I start my message I do not get this annoying feature.Has anyone else found this works for them?I am using the latest Firefox browser in Vista.

I am student and will graduate in the next year.  When I graduate, will I still be able to use the program or do I have to buy an actual version?  (in other words since I have to prove that I am a student, will my student validation still be needed for the activation of the product after I reinstall it or graduate.)Another ? having nothing to do with a Student Version Cs4.  Is it true that you can't export a movie in any format with a 30 day trial version Cs4 premiere?

Ok, I started noticing problem using adobe to open abobe files. Instead of getting the 'adobe' content, the file will open with 'windows', but with right click and 'open with' with adobe option, files open fine. So, I uninstalled adobe 9.3.1, and tried to install back (9.3), but installation did not 'complete' after 7/8 tries. Quite a few times, the installation process didn't even look for 'destination' for the file!Now, with adobe being ‘re-installed’, I cannot open any file, what's more, every time I click on adobe, my screen will jump completely black, get all the desktop icons look highlighted and weird, and then a box re surface with "adobe encountered an error and need to shut......"Any take on this problem?Thanks a lot in advance

Hello All,We have a requirement where we need to output the PDF with UTF8 content. I selected the MS Arial Unicode font for the same. But i don't see any encoding specific to UTF8 where the text would be displayed in UTF8. I understand that the font has to be Unicode compliant and thats teh reason i selcted this font.Our application already writes the PDF in Helvetica font for English and HeiseiKakugo font in Japanese but i wanted to use something generic for UTF8.Could you please let me know as to how do i enhance the basic PDF to incorporate this font with UTF8.RegardsMukund

I selected to Receive Email Notifications on Dreamweaver, Photoshop Macintosh and Action Script 3. However, after realizing I will be receiving 100 emails every so many hours, I decided this would not be a good idea. I returned to each forum and selected Stop Email Notifications. Although the emails continue and continue to arrive in the inbox. Please help!!I am on a Macbook Pro, 10.5 Leopard, plenty of speed and plenty of RAM. I used Safari 4.0 as my browser. I was not able to find a way to limit a search entered at the top right of a forum page to the forum I'm currently looking at. Is there a way to do this?I know I can use "More Options" in the search panel presented after initial search, butI am currently looking at a specific forum and I know that I want to confine my search to exactly this forum when I start the searchIt is almost impossible to find a specific forum in the list presented under More Options, due to its "strange" hierarchy (e.g. try finding the Lightroom 3 Beta forum in there).Thanks for any hints.Beat GossweilerSwitzerland

My wife has Adobe Standard CS3 on Windows Vista, can she upgrade — or cross-grade — up to CS4 on Mac?A simple question that would take a couple minutes to answer, so STOP WASTING MY TIME.

I'm getting ready to purchase a new developer box.  I use a number of different applications, Flash CS4, Photoshop CS3, Lightroom 2, Dream Weaver and Firefox 8, plus a number of plug-ing and other applications.  Does anyone have personal experience in installing these programs on a Windows 7 box.  I'ver read the Adobe Windows 7 information but looking for some personal experience.Thanks in advance,Mike

the final release of Flash buidler 4 can not intall in my win2003 sp2, but beta2 is ok. Anybody know why?
