Using the Community

I have a dataconnection calls a wcf service wsdl that requires a digital certificate, but it is not returing the data that I can tell and no error is being thrown.  The certificate has been loaded on the server and brings data back via a process I've created, so I know the call to the wsdl works. I want to make the call via the data connection without submitting the form.  I have succeeded doing a similar action with another data connection calling a web service but that one doesn't require a certificate.So can  thes  done via a process without submitting the form or is there another way with the dataconnection?

I think all I did was update some plugin or something that said it needed updating and now adobe keeps sending me all kinds of junk mail in Japanese.  Just because I live in Japan doesn't mean I am fluent in Japanese.  This is really incredibly annoying!

All tabs in the account settings are not displaying on either browser.

Good evening. Today, the forum was updated, but there are a few points to worry about. New: Announcements included on the top of Community pages dependent on Community managers configuring them Non-English speaking members are rather difficult to understand because they have no translation function and are written in English only. I hope that the translation will also be applied to the announcement. Bug: Fixed topic selections not persisting when using pagination on a Community page When moving the page of the community, since it moved to the top of the screen immediately after moving the page so far, it was possible to follow the post smoothly, but after the update, the transition after the page moved changes does not move up.So I must scroll up each time to see the next post.   All links to various helpx pages are in the US, but non-English-speaking members will be easier to use when linked to the help of Adobe sites in each country based on the language setting of the forum

This morning, Jan 28, 2020, I suddenly am getting an email every time I post something to the forum that says: Hi Rick_Gerard,Rick_Gerard just posted in a community you follow.   I checked notifications, it took, and I'm not exaggerating, more than three minutes for my profile to load, and I clicked on the notifications tab at 8:14 this morning and it's now 8:17 and still not notifications page. At 8:18 the page finally opened. I should mention that I have a 90+ Mbps fiber connection and Linkedin, Facebook, and just about any other site I log into loads in two or three seconds.   Nothing has changed in my notifications panel. Why am I now getting notifications with every post? It's a huge waste of my personal time. The Email me when someone replies checkbox is always on by default but I never want an email notification from these support forums and I never got them before. I also do not ever need, and I don't know anyone that needs an email telling them that they have posted

When I run a search on the new Adobe communities, it will tell me that I have many results, but I can only see the first 10, and there is no next button. This makes the community search feature pretty much useless.  Can this be fixed?

After clicking on my avatar in the upper-right corner and doing Account Settings, then waiting for a couple of minutes, I get "Error fetching settings data. Please try later":

When I search for a topic in the forum I get advised that there are a large number of results e.g. in the hundreds,  but I am only able to view one page of 10 results.  How to I get to see the other results?

There used to be a separate forum for the AE Plugin SDK.  It seems on the move to Communities, this was merged with Scripting and general AE use, which makes it nearly impossible to find the relevant posts that are really just about using the SDK.  The only way to successfully solve issues with the SDK is to rely on the forum and the wealth of posts that have been and would continue to be put there, but now they are mixed in with everything else, so SDK developers are on their own.  I did find my way with a web search to https://forums.adobe.com/community/aftereffects/aftereffects_sdk//content but it seems that when filtering by text as a way to search this listing, posts older than a certain date cannot be pulled up, and clicking on them just redirects to the main Adobe CC community page.  This is a big loss and makes it much more difficult for developers to continue to add to the Adobe After Effects plugin ecosystem.

Whenever I post a question I'm always asked for my system specs. I wanted to add them to my signature so I wouldn't have to keep typing them up every time. It looks like there is no option for a signature though. Can this be corrected?

Just wondering where the person went that lead the original Adobe Connect sessions on using this new forum system back in September. I've done a search for that user name and can't find it. Also I have not seen any posts from Adobe employees that were tasked with developing this forum system when it started since early December. Are they all gone or just not posting in the public forums anymore. Also no update in the Community Feedback forum on upcoming changes and or bug fixes for this system. Again nothing since early December 2019.

When you get a notification that someone has replied to a thread you follow, the subject line takes the first line of the message being replied to.   The Subject line should be the subject of the thread, not the first line of the specific reply.

Hi,there is a way that i can record or bring all the adobe tv conferences to the itunes as a podcast ?if it is ... how can i do that.that would be greatwell i hope someone can tell me how can i record this conferences and videos to my ipod touch to can watch them at work.if there is any other way but postcast please let me know .RegardsCesar

Hello Community Feedback,   Is there a good reason why it is apparently not possible to view a linked image in browser? An example in the topic below: https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator/there-is-an-error-in-the-vector-path/td-p/10867380   Users often link images in this way instead of posting them inline. I can see no way to view it from the forum; I am forced to download and open the file locally. This is a slow and annoying way to work.

The search fields in this new forum are very confusing.   I do not understand how to confine the search to a specific forum.  For example I searched "Community Help" and got hits on Photoshop and other forums I cannot "clear" a search field … the "x" does nothing. And if I manually delete the search string I am NOT taken back to the original forum I was in. If someone can point me to clear instructions I'll keep trying. Otherwise, I'll look for a better place to find answers.

Each and every time I  get 6 digit otp to login to forum.   Password is autologin.  How can I login without otp number each and every  my  login.

Got three emails from Adobe Support after creating one post here.– Seems there is something going wrong here with the variables in the email – you might wanna have a look into this.Bugs everywhere at the moment with Adobe   🤣

I received the email below following my first post. You can see that the templated values have not been updated. Looking at the message source, this only happens in the html message. The plain text version has had the template variables replaced successfully.As the email address on it is a no_reply, I thought here might be the best place to report it. Feel free to move if wrong!

1. Notice of a correct answer Subject doesn't include the forum name or the discussion subject. It just says 'adobe support community. You have to follow the link to find out what it's referring to. 2. When someone likes your post, the Subject line is blank. It should include the forum name and discussion subject.
