I am posting below, the error that I continue to receive upon attempting to view video tutorials that appear to be administered from tv.adobe.comI am using Windows 10 machine, and my version of Firefox 46.0.  I have administered web sites, and when my users have given me this information, it was when my security certificate for the server did not properly renew itself. I do not know if this is the right place for posting this issue.  However, this will be the second attempt to get assistance on it. I must say that I am disappointed. I have had a subscription for years, and this is the first time that I needed to request support. The experience is a little disappointing, and it appears that the support teams are not aware of where to post this type of issue. I posted a question on the ID forum. I received an email with an answer. I wanted to reply. I was typing my reply then tried to submit and suddenly I was not able to (no permissions). If I open the thread from the ID forum home page I see my question, but not the answer. If I try to open the link I received in the email I get"Access to this community or content is restricted. If you think this is a mistake, please contact your administrator or the person who directed you here."What gives?G

I've got some notifications in my forum inbox that won't obey a "mark as read", especially this one that's just marked "notifications". Not a big deal and I'm happy to just leave the one notification sitting there, but I thought I'd mention it.

The thermometer icons for the user levels are missing from the message threads (shown as the "missing file" icon).They were found just fine on May 18.

When I view my profile page I see "You have not updated your status yet"How do I "Update my Status"?

Wow, new here but these forums are a pain, and Adobe chat is also in need of improvement.All of this might be possible, but it sure isn't obvious (adobe is not very good at KISS):We should be able to get digests rather than constant emails if we subscribe.We should be able to easily ignore/turn-off answers that are 7-15 years-old; what's the point?Being able to do these things should be easy and obvious, without the need for complicated must-step directions as in:Your View & Custom Streams in News

Hi, I hope this is ok to post. An Ebay seller has some laptops they say came from a company that went into receivership. They claim they have checked the software, including CS5, is registered and updates. I'm thinking that, if the original is not available, then it would not be possible to transfer ownership of the software. Or is there a way around it. I am retired using Premiere Elements but would like some of the advanced features on Premiere Pro but cannot justify the cost of the latest versions. Thanks in anticipation.

JIVE makes a really stupid forum.  Now, they make it even more ugly and useless as it's ever been. Why, Adobe?  Why do you insist on sticking with this?You should kick JIVE to the curb, and use something like Discourse.  Heck, even Disqus is better than this.EPIC FAIL

Hi guysI've had a log-in problem on and off for a while. Quite often when I search a question and see a thread that could give an answer, I get spontaneously logged-out either when I click on that thread to read it or if start to add a reply to the thread and have to log-back in (and find any text I had written gone forever). This only happens if I open a thread. The person in THIS THREAD is having trouble downloading fonts they have purchased. The item has disappeared from their purchased downloads, even though (they say) they have a receipt, etc. I do not know where the discussion was originally posted, but moving it to the Typography forum seems an error, as their problem is not with the font itself, but with the purchase.--OB

Sorry. I gave it a year and I can't deal with this forums format.  Too convoluted and featureless.  I'm used to sites that are powered by software like simple machines (which is free) such as Luminous landscape (and I believe DVinfo).  All the posts are there, always available in chronological order, going back as far as I want.  Jive only shows me that last 12 hours or twenty topics?  I have to go to my inbox to catch up on followed threads and/or I just miss things entirely.  Searching unanswered threads gives me stuff that goes back months, instead of current issues within the last wekk.  It's not intuitive.  Marking all read is not working, either.  The counter is stuck.  I've been using Adobe Software since 1994, but will take my discussions back to old stomping grounds.  Those sites might be old fare, but they simple work.  My apologies for sounding frank or terse.

Or, rather, I likely unwittingly gave my permission. Like malware.I dutifully uninstalled, deleted any leftover folders I could find and, when I turned on my computer this morning, there was True Key, sitting there next to my accounts on the Windows sign in page!
