Using the Community

What is a good way to document the various steps taken to manipulate an image so those steps are associated with a specific photo? As I move from one application to another, or use different presents and filters, I'd like to capture each step to that I can recreate the results with another image.ThanksJohn

‌I used Adobe Ideas for many years with no trouble.  But the company chose to discontinue it. OK, but since it was so popular and much used, sell the software to some other company.

I just received an email request from supposedly this form to communicate with me via Skype. It looked legit as it had Adobe logos and were calling themselves Help and Support, etc.  Anyway, the bottom line is that after getting my Adobe ID and pswd and email they told me that they could sell me a copy of Adobe XI Pro for $150.00 (discounted $449.00US because I have a older version of Adobe no longer supported) but I would need to send CASH thru Western Union to the India Center Manager.  So, is it a scam?    Here is a transcript of the Skype messaging. The Photoshop forum, perhaps others, now has an educational video on it. This is irritating, because I have to scroll past it to get to the questions, but OK. The video autoplays. This is very much NOT OK. Please stop this. It is unacceptable. Not just for me, but for many people in shared workspaces, who will be deprived of the use of the forums.

How to mark post in discussion as answer or change discussion to queston? Want alert users that something is resolved.

Is there any way to change the address with Adobe ID?Recently I am moved to Belgium from India, I didn't find any option to change address of Adobe ID.I want to use Adobe Cloud Services and because of this issue I couldn't use it.Kindly do the needful.

What the hell is going on, now?  I've been trying to respond to a thread in the CF forum, and at first it keeps telling me "could not post - you may have been logged out" (which, clearly, I wasn't).And now I'm getting "Cannot post!  Check back in 24 hours."^_^

In this forum I started selecting Animate CC then used the only search bar I could find and get a search result from the whole forum. There must be a way to limit the search to only one software, but how?

I get what seems to be the problem mentioned inPhotoshop "All Content" not up to date"All Content" seems to show threads only erratically.

I'm interested in whether this is a general problem before I try to resolve it on my systems. Three different Windows systems here have stopped working with using Chrome to connect to Adobe forums, in 3 different ways, in the last few days. The same systems can use other browsers to connect. Any similar symptoms?

It seems like almost anytime I post I am having this notification popup. While it typically is handled quickly, it gets frustrating as I've been using these forums for years now and never had this issue before.I realize you must run anti-spam measures but is there no way to see who are regular users and who are not and apply the anti-spam methods to new users? Of course, if a regular user is reported for spam that is one thing...Just gets a bit frustrating seeing this every time...

I hope this is the correct way to present this request. Today I had a difficult time finding the Acrobat Forums. After much searching and frustration, I actually thought there were NO Acrobat Forums.Here were my steps:As usual, I went to  https://forums.adobe.com/welcome  which I have done many times to access various CC forums. I saw the difference between Acrobat and Acrobat Reader. (I was interested in Acrobat DC), so I clicked on the "Acrobat" link:  AcrobatAs with other links from this "Community" page, I expected to be taken to the Acrobat Forum. But all I saw here were links to articles and videos. This was disconcerting, because wading through articles and videos is not a very efficient way to get a quick answer to a question. I carefully read all the large graphic links displayed there, and none of them apparently linked to any Acrobat Forum.I eventually did find the Acrobat Forums, but only after doing more searches and finally posting a question in the Photosh
