Using the Community

Hi I am wondering how to add content to my profile page? like blog post,documents, ideas etc.. I am not able to use these features

The person in THIS THREAD is having trouble downloading fonts they have purchased. The item has disappeared from their purchased downloads, even though (they say) they have a receipt, etc. I do not know where the discussion was originally posted, but moving it to the Typography forum seems an error, as their problem is not with the font itself, but with the purchase.--OB

Sorry. I gave it a year and I can't deal with this forums format.  Too convoluted and featureless.  I'm used to sites that are powered by software like simple machines (which is free) such as Luminous landscape (and I believe DVinfo).  All the posts are there, always available in chronological order, going back as far as I want.  Jive only shows me that last 12 hours or twenty topics?  I have to go to my inbox to catch up on followed threads and/or I just miss things entirely.  Searching unanswered threads gives me stuff that goes back months, instead of current issues within the last wekk.  It's not intuitive.  Marking all read is not working, either.  The counter is stuck.  I've been using Adobe Software since 1994, but will take my discussions back to old stomping grounds.  Those sites might be old fare, but they simple work.  My apologies for sounding frank or terse.

you clever devils, you.Started some recent upgrade and lo and behold, I look, and there's McAfee and something called True Key installing without my permission. Or, rather, I likely unwittingly gave my permission. Like malware.I dutifully uninstalled, deleted any leftover folders I could find and, when I turned on my computer this morning, there was True Key, sitting there next to my accounts on the Windows sign in page! With this new forum software when you click on the forum heading, like Lightroom, you get the Overview area/view. I want to make the Content area/view be my default. How do you do that.

What is going on......I need someone to tell me if I need to upgrade  from adobe Xl ....  or not....... I keep getting pop-ups and do not know high tech stuff ...much...I am a lady of 60 and only use a small laptop  for home useand I am having a very slow loading of ANYTHING.. takes at least 3 minutes to load things...even e-mails.. and this site was hard to connect to......or...I  can not get videos that don't stall or skip......Am I supposed to up-grade my Adobe and also upgrade to Windows 10....????   Please Help.............................and I hope this time it goed through......

I've just had to move from Nook to Sainsburys and bought new books. I managed to upgrade etc etc but still keep getting the same error message. I think it has something to do with the permission to the PC from Adobe. I can't change the authorisation because I don't recall doing it on this version. Now of course I can't do a thing Adobe have passed the buck and put me onto the forum for help so I hope someone out there in the ether can help I need these books to read when I am laid up after my operation.@

No new posts have showed up in the Content View in almost 24 hours even though the Overview shows new posts. Also in Content view, the posts are no longer properly sorted in chronological order with the newest activity at the top of the forum.

To me, it seems intuitively obvious that the most secure passwords in practice will be the ones that people can remember and don't have to write down.  Unless Adobe hands out its crypted passwords file in mass, it's not susceptible to brute force attack.

WWhen I type a query or response in Safari on iOS something weird happens at the start of a line. You can see it here. It doesn't happen every time and isn't consistent. Here, I just touched w h e n on the on screen keyboard. What I saw shown as WHen, ie there seems to be a lag on the removal of automatic caps. I then continue typing and a little later the start of the line changed to WWhen. This doubling is very common, with or without capitalisation issues, and has happened to me hundreds of times. Because there is a delay, just reading what I typed isn't enough to catch It. I speculate that both the forum site and phone are trying to apply autocorrection. If so can I stop the forum going that? Any other ideas?‌

i don't want forum, i want technical advice, but your stupid web site does not include that option. why not. why does adobe make it so hard to get technical support? Downloading, Installing, Setting Up‌
