As we've all come to realize in one way or another, the best way to solve this problem is to use Adobe less. You'll of course lose your effects, but if you can't output, it's not like you can actually utilize them anyway right? As a final work around, DaVinci Resolve imports xmls, and is free. Just search for Black Magic Design DaVinci resolve. No promises this'll solve your issue per se, but free option is free; you'll only lose time (that you'd likely be using fruitlessly troubleshooting premiere) trying to find a real solution from a company's product that clearly isn't focused on solving your issue. Best of luck all, I'm all ears to other solutions. /rant incoming. brand new computer - workstation level power, mid level, 4GB usable quaddro card - same problem. I'm in the enviable position to cut ties with Adobe later this year. This was the last straw, for all of Adobe's programs. Already can't wait. Lightroom = slow as a dog. Illustrator = for my purpos

You know how sometimes you read a book that is sooooo good you wish it was also a movie ? Of course some books just should stay books cause they cant be improved by being a movie. But given the right treatment etc sometimes a really good book can also be a really good movie. Most good books that get made movies have to introduce characters or voice over or something so that what characters only ' THINK TO THEMSELVES ' in the book can be delivered to the audience of the movie. Thats kinda tricky.Anyway, this book I'm reading now would be a great movie if it could be treated well re: the above problem. It is " The Mouse In The Moon ". It's the same author who wrote " Beware The Mouse " and " The Mouse That Roared ". The Mouse That Roared got made into a movie ( I think with Peter Sellers in it ? ) and was hilarious. The Mouse In The Moon ( copyright about 1962 ? ) happens after the mouse that roared...Grand Fenwick ( a little country started by some wayward Englishmen back aroun
is this a joke? We are in 2020, supposedly, premiere should work better than in 2003, but it doesn't. Premiere Pro (2020) sucks, very much.

Hi everyone. Although I have owned it for a long time, I am relatively new to Adobe Premiere and editing sound. I only have the 5.5 version. I imported video clips from my iPad (on my PC, not my Mac) and there is a lot of background whitenoise (air and reverb). The room is a dining room with a wood floor and I can't reshoot the video. I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to properly edit the sound parts of the video to clean them up. I've tried using the Denoiser, but ti doesn't really help much. I've also tried doing research and every article I find is in a newer version of Premiere. I had to increase the gain on the video, because the sound was too low. I used the Audio Gain and Normalized the audio. That helped a lot, but then it made the ambient air sound worse and the reverb worse. the Does anyone know how I can edit this sound to make it not sound like we are in a hollow room? I appreciate your help. Thanks.
My audio is not working during playback in the Premiere Pro. I even went to AudioHardware and tried to see if I could get the sound working. Unfortunately, I only see one setting. We did not do any software updates to the computer either so I'm not sure what happened.
I know this is primarily a support forum, but here’s a bit of musing for fun. Hopefully this type of discussion on these forums is allowed, if not I apologize. "Is Premiere Pro due for a full code rewrite?” By no means am I saying this is an easy task (on the contrary it’s probably the hardest thing for any software company to do), and by no means am I stomping my foot and demanding it. That said, I do think it’s a fair question to ask. Unless I’m mistaken, Premiere Pro’s last full code rewrite was 2003. A lot has happened in 17 years, and while Adobe has done a good job of expanding upon their foundation, there are some artifacts that I feel are the result of hanging onto the dated foundation. Rec 709 and the changing video landscapeIn 2003 Premiere Pro (and all NLEs I guess) were primarily used for broadcast and cinema. YouTube wasn’t even created until 2005. The landscape of digital video production has changed drastically since. Not everyone using Premiere
I recognize this isn't, really, a Premiere question. It's for a Zoom forum. But that doesn't exist, and Zoom's support is mediocre at best. So I thought, in these quarantine times, someone on this forum might have encountered the challenge I face. Any help appreciated. I am trying to capture HD footage in Zoom. I'm on a Pro account, so in theory I should at least be able to record 720p. I have: 1. Selected Group HD enable in Zoom's settings2. Selected Optimize for 3rd Party Editor in settings3. Tried recording both locally and to the cloud. None of these seem to work. The recording always ends up at 640x360. If anyone here has experience recording in 720p on Zoom, I'd love to get any and all advice! Thanks, Geoff

Which Adobe Creative Cloud app can be used to capture/record a video on the computer screen - i.e. a webinar? I thought there was an app called Captivate that did that, but it's not on my list of apps.
I purchased the Adobe Premiere Pro suite several years ago to do videos for a Cancer Childrens program that I started. "Kids Racing For Life", then I got stage 4 cancer and never used the program much except the first year. Now I don't remember squat. I would like to get started again but it's been 6-7 years. Is there a free learning tutoral somewhere? I would like to at least do some of the basic stuff, I have a good video camera and can take the videos, but doing it my myself, I will need to edit the start and ending of each video, along with intro and exit titles, (I actually remember how to do those I think), what I need help with is the import of the video, and the use of the tools and a glossry of the terms that I can't remember. If anyone could help you would make an old guy happy. Thank you. RaceRev [Personal information removed by moderator.]
There are better options for your Chromebook than Adobe Rush. It's clearly not a priority for them. Download Linux on your Chromebook then DaVinci Resolve 16. Good luck mate!

Hi Dev,I just saw this on my Facebook feed and it made for interesting reading. TLDR is that compared to other video editing softwares out there Premier is the slowest. Here's the article - https://www.premiumbeat.com/blog/switch-from-premiere-pro/What's your take on it please? And will steps be taken to speed up Premier? Many thanks from a loyal fan and customer, Lu
I'm a real estate agent trying to make cheap reidential walk-through videos and then post them to a web hosting account. I have my first video, a 838 MG, 7 minute video that I need to reduce the file size. The videos just need to show the property. They don't need to be high resolution. What would be a good resolution? Which Adode product should I use?
I am teaching a video editing class and I need to find some raw footage for them to edit. I have some projects that came with the class but they are old and not very good. One project uses footage of a bank robbery that I now learned is for a short film called, "The Heist," but we are missing some of the footage and I cannot seem to find it anywhere online (or hardly any information about it). I do not need the highest quality footage but I do need complete projects, so the students can look at all the different shots and cut them down into finished products (commercials, music videos, corporate videos, short films, TV shows, anything and everything I can find). Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated!
Would just like to know if anyone can suggest the best way to get a good amount of free footage for practicing on Premiere? New to it and would just like to learn as much as possible, thank you!!
The real solution is Final Cut from Apple. Much more powerful and intutitive and you never have to reinstall the entire program because it stops working.
You are a big company, you can solve it - so solve it.To use the excuse that it is difficult to solve is just silly and provocative. You need to prioritize this issue. There are thousands of users with powerful multi-core CPUs with lots of power that are not utilized by Adobe's programs. You will get incredibly positive response from users if you focus on speed and core utilization over new features in next updates - especially with the new CPUs currently being released.Right now, it is becoming more and more annoying to have more and more powerful computers - which are well utilized by other software - while Adobe's programs only exploit a fraction of PC potential.
It takes me an hour to get into premier pro Im so sick of it. It just will not open,.it takes several tries and i just hate it..that is why i cancel

I've been an Adobe user for 20+ years. Mainly on mac. First off, I have to thank Adobe for giving me an amazing career in the creative field. Everyday doesn't seem like work because I'm loving what I do. and using Adobe's tools is whatgets the job done... but that's the thing, getting it done. It's hard to get it done when Premiere and After Effect crash and crash and crash. Autosave not working when it says "it's trying", then loosing a ton of "creative choice" work in even a 20min time period. Why release an update with issues like this? More serious testing needs to be done on the new OS systems before releasing updates. I know it must be difficult to make programs like Adobe does. But please Adobe, stop making huge updates to your programs every year. Fix the crashing that Premiere has had for years & years. A lot of people I know are abandoning Premiere and moving to Davinci, cause of its stability and speed. Now Davinci is even including a new
