全角スペースを含む文字列の検索について

Acrobat Reader DC にて、

ExcelからPDF保存した場合など文字埋め込みのPDFファイルにおいて、

「全角スペース」を含む文字列の検索を行いたいのですが、

「一致するものがありませんでした。」となります。

上記検索を使用するケース、目的は、以下のとおりです。

名簿データで名字と名前の間に全角スペースがある場合に、フルネームで検索したい。

例えば、「山田　太郎」の氏名に対しての検索結果は、以下のようになります。

「山田　太郎」検索不可

「山田」検索可

「太郎」検索可

「山田　」検索不可

設定等もいじってみましたが、うまくいきません。

そもそも不可能なのか、回避策があるのか、ご存じないでしょうか？

    Hi there!

    As explained above, the search results are not coming up when using full name (space in between). However, its working while looking for the single name.

    You may answer couple of questions asked below-

    • Is that a case with one PDF file of multiple?
    • Is that document is scanned or contain real text? I suspect it would be a real text document, because its giving half of the result. Still wan'ts to cross check.
    • Open Reader>Help>Check for update

    You may try  the following-

    1-Go to the top menu bar and click Edit then Preferences

    When the Preferences box opens, select the Search category on the left

    When in the Search category look to the bottom and click on the Purge Cache Contents box/button

    Finally Click OK in the bottom right of Preferences and re-attempt search

    2- For testing- Navigate to Navigate to Reader>Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected Mode at Startup" and "Enhanced Security">OK>Reboot Reader>Open PDF and search again.

    Note: Changing the above security settings could pose security risks. We suggest you to turn it back On once you are done with testing.

    まず質問への回答です。

    • Is that a case with one PDF file of multiple?

    単一のPDFファイルです。複数のPDFを結合していません。

    • Is that document is scanned or contain real text? I suspect it would be a real text document, because its giving half of the result. Still wan'ts to cross check.

    テキストを含んでいます。スキャンではありません。画像も含んでいません。

    • Open Reader>Help>Check for update

    アップデートしてみましたが、最新となっていました。

    ご指摘いただいた2点を試してみましたが、

    結果は変わりませんでした。

    冒頭に書いていただいた通り、スペースを含む検索は出来ないという事ですね。

    そういう仕様であると理解します。
