Acrobat Reader

I Have Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 2023. Windows 11.It is frustrating when I open it and do a PageUp/Down to see that lines are skipped.The only way to ensure this does not happen is to open in Read Mode CTRL+H.But this is not possible in normal mode.Is there a fix for this?

How can I access PDF meta data in Adobe Acrobat Reader 2022?

I suddenly cannot open PDF files that I have saved. I believe this happened after downloading an Adobe Reader update.When I try to open a PDF file I get this message:"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."However, if I get a PDF file as an e-mail attachment, I can open the file from my email. As an aside, to open a PDF file, I sent it to myself as an attachment and then downloaded and opened it.Also, if I right click on the file and select "Open With" I cannot open with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC but I can open with PDF Vista, whatever that is.WildBill@19329 Jan 2017Now I'm really in trouble. Dear all, I wanted to increase my spelling dictionary, but I couldn't find any new dictionaries for Adobe Acrobat Reader 23.x version, I found only for 22.x version, which doesn't work for the newest Adobe. Could you please advise how can I get an increased spelling dictionary and not only for the English language?Thanks in advance

I sent FM files to someone for edits, but Imges inserted to it are asking for location. Is there a option by which I can sent a complete FM files to someone where there is no image's location issue.

How can I track changes in Adobe Frame Maker Document?

Is there a way to permanently display drawing tools or other frequently used selections on the main tool bar in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC? I use drawing tools all the time to take notes on scientific papers and in previous versions of Adobe reader I could customize my toolbar to include my favorite tools in the default display. Now I have to search for drawing tools and launch a secondary toolbar for every PDF I open. I can't even keep the drawing tools displayed within the same session for multiple docs that are open at the same time. Surely there's a way to avoid this annoyance since it seems like such an obvious feature, but despite multiple attempts and online searches, I can't seem to find the solution. Help!

When I try to open a PDF in adobe acrobat reader I see garbage symbols. When I open the same PDF in XChange editor on the same PC it works fine. This is also the case for my collegaues PC. Hi Adobe support team,I have a strange situation where I used iText to digitally sign a PDF (deferred signing), after that I used LtvVerification class to add OCSP and CRL. Then I opened the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader and saw that OCSP and CRL was embedded but LTV is still not enabled:I have attached my file, could you please have a look and see what's wrong?Thank you!

Hallo Community,ich möchte an dieser Stelle einen Fehler melden.Wenn man unter Windows-Server 2016 oder Windows 10 in dem Windows-Explorer eine PDF per Vorschaufenster betrachten möchte kommt eine Fehlermeldung:Es ist ein interner Fehler aufgetreten.Diese kann man mit OK bestätigen.Der Fehler erscheint weil die Ordnerstruktur "%localappdata%\Adobe\Acrobat\DC" nicht vorhanden ist.Wenn man die Struktur manuell anlegt oder den Reader zuvor startet, funktioniert das Vorschaufenster im Windows-Explorer.Da in Domänen Umgebungen die %localappdata% beim abmelden verworfen werden, tritt der Fehler immer wieder auf.Es wurden verschiedene Reader Versionen getestet. Vielleicht könnt ihr hier mal einen Bugfix bringen.DankeManuel

how do I rotate pages with adobe dc reader?

Right now, when I mark a dimension in a document, it comes out as feet inches. 1' 2" for example. I want it to only say 14". Where can I change this setting? In some documents I receive, it does inches only. In others, it does feet inches.

In Acrobat Reader 2023.00120093 64-bit under Windows 10 I have configured the mail. The mail provider is Office365, and I have generated application password and specified it in reader. When I click on the envelope icon, I see the message "Connecting socket..." for a short instant, and then nothing. There are no error messages, but the email is not created in Drafts folder like it used to in the past.

this just started with the update that was applied to Adobe Acrobat Reader DCI close the tool panel I made sure this option was selectedwhen I reopen a PDF the tool panel is open

After the latest update, the tool bar and the 'Tools, sign, comments' section have become too large and occupy nearly 30% of the screen. The default display size is 150% on my PC, but still this is the first time I'm facing this issue. I did not come across any settings in the preferences area to correct this issue. Any suggestions?

Hi, I can't find an option to set Adobe Acrobat (either Reader or Pro) "View on top", i.e., keep the Acrobat window visible at all times even when opening other windows (for example if I want to view a PDF while doing something else). Does anyone know if this is possible with Acrobat? thanks

I want to share an Adobe Reader PDF file to someone but I don't want that this person being able to modify it. How can I do ?? I have tried to disabled the "allow comments" option, but the person who received the file is able to modify it !    Can you help me please ?  Thanks !  (excuse my English, it's not my first language).  

Hello, Comments are displayed on the actual document, and within the comments bar.However, after some time, the comments displayed on the actual document disappear, leaving only the comments shown in the bar at the side of the document. How can I keep the comments displayed on the actual document? Stop them from disappearing after a period of time. I have to re-open the document each time, to make the comments re-appear again.Probably a setting or registry change needed? Thanks,
