Acrobat Reader

Problem that Reader did not open when required. Uninstalled, re-installed. No result. Unable to contact Adobe thro website. Any help much appreciated.

¿Es posible utilizar un certificado que se ubica en un servidor que está en red?Es decir, teniendo un servicio que gestiona los certificados, como lo es redtrust, ¿es posible hacer que adobe apunte a ese servidor?

Hi Community,we got some Adobe Reader installations on clients without acitve connection to the internet.So an active update to receive the trusted certificates is not possible.In past years an past installation it was possible to store the file addressbook.acrodata in the location %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security.Now we have the same problem again, users got the message the signee is unknow or untrusted.Storing the new addressbook.acrodata file at the location %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security doesnt work with this operation system (i checked it on the old old servers and it works now as before - but not on our current active servers)maybe somebody with any ideas?thanksAndreas 

Windows 11 Home, Version 22H2OS Build: 22621.1702Acrobat Reader version 2023.001.20174 I have been using a digital certificate issued by the Spanish authorities to sign documents in Reader for years. I recently had to update the certificate (not the first update), but after this most recent update I can no longer sign documents. When I do, I get the same prompt:"This signature field requires a digital signature identity. Would you like to configure one now?"I follow the onscreen process to create a digital id from a file. However, when I try to sign, the same prompt appears. It does not matter how many times I try. I restart and the issue persists.When I check in Preferences/Identities&Trusted Certificates/More/ I can see the digital ID I have just created, in addition to the Windows Certificate Store. Hi, I've been attempting to deploy the 64 bit Reader to a small group of workstations but I am not able to find the 64 bit Reader msi installer to use. I downloaded a exe file, expanded the exe file which I thought was 64 bit but its actually 32 bit. It should not be this hard to find the download link for this software. If anyone could assist that would be much appreaciated. Thank you. 

Hello everyone, I'm trying to improve my workflow using Adobe Acrobat. The idea is to extract certain data from scanned pdf's and technical drawings eventually into an excel worksheet to create data reports. I know there might be other programs out there to use but I'm particularly interested in finding a solution within my Adobe program. Can provide further information if needed.Thanks in advance for nay input. Best, Jonas 

Hi There, At our organization currently certificate signature is stored through new PKCS#12 digital ID file as show in below picture. We would like to store the signature with our windows login. So, if someone changes their device(laptop), they would not have create signature again. I tried creating windows certificate store signature but it does not prompt password when I sign the PDF.Can you please help me find a way to save the digital signature with windows login along with password protection when I sign the documents? Hello everyone! I can't use many of the functions the program allows us to use. When I try to use one of them, a blank window appears and nothing else happens. I assumed there was a problem with the program installation.So I tried to uninstall it in the most convential way, through the control panel. I have had this error: "no valid sequence could be found for the set of patches". I searched for some fixes on the internet and have tried the followings: - the AcroCleaner (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html);- wmic in command prompt (the return value is 1648 which corresponds to the "no valid sequence" error);- ProcessMonitor -> check if external DLL where used (I found none);- the Windows TroubleShooter (nothing found);- repair Acrobat Installation through help menu (same error as the one I've had when trying to uninstall with control panel);- I've simply tried to reinstall it -> it says that I have the latest version of the program.&nbs

Adobe acrobat (64 bit) does not startadobe version 23.001.20064it has always worked fine until windows 10 has been updated few days ago  I have windows 10 - 22H2 build 19045.3031I have tried many times to uninstall and install again adobe reader but it does not start.I think it might be a problem of compatibility with this version of windows 10.Does anybody have a solution ?Thanks

Hallo,   Ich habe 2 identische PDFs mit unterschiedlichen Namen. Beide Dokumente sind auf unterschiedliche Seiten eingestellt. Wenn ich dann Acrobat Reader beende und neu starte, werden beide Dokumente mit der Seite, dessen Dokument beim Schließen zuletzt den Fokus hatte. Meine Frage wie kann ich das einstellen, damit er mir bei beiden oder mehr Dokumenten, beim Neustart immer die zuletzt angeschaute Seite öffnet.  Vielen Dank

Following the update to Adobe Acrobat DC (19.021.20047) on our Windows 2012 R2 platform that there is a space along the top of the window  only when maximised (the space disappears when window is restored down). This is causing an issue whereby when a user tries to move the mouse over the Menu bar, or tries to close, minimise, restore down the window, it actually clicks whatever is below the option.  Please see my screenshot attached, although the mouse pointer is not showing, the pointer was hovering above the "View" option as if it was over the View option.  Another example is if I try to click on the X to close the file it actually clicks sign in.  It's like the mouse pointers position isn't true to what it is selecting in Adobe DC.  The issue doesn't exist in any other applications on the server. Many thanks, Mark

Hi, I'm wondering about why i sometimes, when printing out a handful of pages from a large pdf, using the print button and then "Drag2PDF", the new print becomes more like a picture of the document, rather than text in pdf form, so i can't highlight, copy or otherwise interact with text.. It doesn't happen with all documents..

I want to combine 10 seperate documetns, the combine function documents doesn't combine the files, but repeats the 1st doc 10 times. In the preview it's showing the different files, but as soon as I click combine I get a document with the first seperate document copies 10 times in a row. I feel like it's glitching but I really need it to fix my project. What can I do?

Hey everyone! I need to sign an important document with Adobe Acrobat but it always fails to do so. Background:I am using a SmartCard and REINER SCT SmartCard Reader. The Smartcard is initialised and can be detected. This specific SmartCard needs middleware to function. In this case, I am using Nexus Personal. All drivers are up to date. My Adobe Version is 2023.001.20143 64-Bit. Issue:When I click on "Certificate" and draw the rectangle on my document, it then shows me my SmartCard and everything is well. After confirming to take the respective SmartCard, Adobe wants me to save the file. After doing so, the rectangle fills with the info of my smartcard and I expect to see the password window but nothing happens, except that Adobe freezes and I have to force it to stop via taskmanager.  I came across some advise on this page and I tried to reinstall Adobe, I tried to uncheck the setting that the signature window is the modern version, I checked all drivers, I t

I am trying to print a drawing from an architect to scale on a size arch d paper. Is there any way to do this? Each time I print the measurements do not work out to what they have dimensioned on the page.

I have a PDF document that is already formated as a booklet (e.g. with binding in the middle), but I can't find out how to actually print this as booklet. Here is how my the pdf looks: Now I would like to print this as booklet, so that we can staple it in the middle. This would mean that it rearranges the individual pages."Normal" printing ("size" in the printer options) doesn't do that. Booklet printing then puts two of the double pages on one booklet page (or 4 pages on one double page). The question was already asked here, but the answer doesn't work for me. Can anyone help me with this?

In Acrobat Reader DC, I want to hide tools pane completely for all documents I open. I'm aware of this current setting where I can set to remember the current state of tools pane. But I work on a project where all the documentation is in pdf and they are hundreds in number. I can't expect to apply this setting for all the document by opening one by one. How can I set this option once to be applied for all the documents I open using Reader DC?

Acrobat Reader icon is assigned to a docx file, so that MS Word is prevented from opening the file.Another file with the same name and the extension pdf exists in the folder. The docx file was generated by conversion of  the pdf file with the same name.

Hello, is there anyway that this can be fixed? So, Im printing a big project 40x30in and everytime i try to print in poster mode for all 8 pages page 6 comes out blank with nothing on it. What can I do?
