Acrobat Reader

Using a Macbook Pro, have updated the software and this is not a protected document. The Save button is not available. and this is happening to any pdf I try to save. The Save As button is available but when I choose a folder, the window just closes and it doesn't save anywhere. I am using Acorbat Pro and it is not feeling very PRO right now! This is very frustrating. Please advise ASAP. This is a major issue.

We are facing a issue when trying to implement certification signatures to avoid modifications after the first signature. Whenever we set the DocMDP transform with the value 2 (that should enable new signatures), adobe reader disables the option to digitalloy sign the document (Althoug in secutity properties signatures are supposedly  allowed. Is it a bug on Adobe Reader? How can we sign certified documents in adobe reader?   

Hello,I try to update our Reader DC 19, I download new installer from here http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterpriseI choose version 23 (cannot choose any other), I try Czech and English.Next I follow guide to extract MSI file and there is in both language versions files "AcroRead.msi" and "Data1.cab" with last date change 2015. I try to ignore this, deploy this package and it showing after installatin version DC 15.007.20033.What Im missing? Thank you

users in my department cannot print since an update that was released around the 11th of this month.it affects users with adobe acrobat pro dc 32bit version.at the print dialog, they cannot press the print setup button. it will not open the prompt and also the print button does nothing. it closes the print dialog and then nothing prints. Only solution is to uninstall and reinstall.Users are able to open PDF in chrome and print the file. Please release a update/fix for this 32bit printing issue.

Hi,I used to be able to permanently close the tool pane. But recently, I bought a new laptop. After installing the Adobe Reader version 23.001.20143.0 I no longer can close the tool pane. I tried the following setting. It is not working. I tried to edit the registry but there is no there isn't any bExpandRHPinViewer.Please advise what else I can do. Thanks.

I have always used Microsoft Print to PDF from Acrobat Reader DC to create searchable pdfs - I use it to complete form fill pdfs for work, that I can go back and search later.  Out of the blue this just stopped working a couple weeks ago - I can still print the form fill pdfs like before, but when I reopen them later the text selection tool doesn't work and I can't search them.  These are the exact same form fill documents I was using before, same files.  Happens with any files.  When I open up files that were created BEFORE this started happening, I can still search them just like before - I just can't CREATE searchable pdfs anymore - All my new pdfs are not searchable.  I thought maybe it was a problem with Microsoft Print to PDF, but when I downloaded and tried out a different pdf printing app the same thing happened.  

Hi Team, I am currently experiencing an issue with opening a particular file in Adobe Reader Pro / DC. Product Version 2023.001.20143 Opening this pdf in any other PDF viewer, Edge, Chrome, Foxit etc doesn't have this issue. Error: A drawing error has occurredSome parts of the drawing are missing and not viewable. What is causing this?

I have been a subsciber to the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for over a year. (I joined on 10th November 2020.) I rarely use any of the products so want to cancel them and yet I am told that to do so there woule be a cancellation fee of £83.44!!  How can there be any fee when I have been a member for over a year? And if there was to be a fee, the Adobe "help" pages advise that the fee should be 50% of the balance due for the remaining months, but given when I joined, how could it be so high?Of course I can find no email address or phone number or chat function to contact anyone about this. Just an endless cycle sending me back to the same pages. Can anyone explain why there is a cancellation fee in my case, and how it could be so high?Can anyone tell me how to contact Adobe to sort this out?So enraged right now. 

Why does Adobe make it so hard to view or cancel subscriptions? I didn't knowingly sign up for Adobe Stock. I haven't used any stock images at all. I signed up for a Photoshop trial but am now being billed for over £30, which I think is unfair. I haven't even opened Adobe Stock. Why is it so difficult to speak to someone about it and how can I go about cancelling the subscription? I am happy to continue with the Photoshop but I refuse to pay £23.99 for something I have never used. I won't need to use this in future either. I am so confused as to how this happened and would like to know what to do about it immediately, please. You guys can't just bully us into paying you in the middle of a cost of living crisis. I find this really stressful.  

Hi,I have some large document and have to find word.Although embedded index shows as ready, advanced search was too slow.In case of embedded index: Advance Search execution time is 6 minutes and 36 seconds In case of non -embedded index, Advance Search execution time is I think index seems not working properly.  

Hello there, I got my 14" Macbook Pro with M1 Pro chip recently. When I tried to open any PDF file in my Google Drive with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, it won't respond. I have checked these files on my Google Drive are good, since I can open them with Books app, Chrome or Zotero on my Mac. If I add my Google Drive as a file storage in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, I can open these PDFs from choosing them in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC/Google Drive/. However, when I back to my Finder/Google Drive/ and double click the same files or right click -> open with -> Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (default), the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC cannot open the file. Any suggestion for fixing this problem will be helpful. Best,

Hello,i try to create a dynamic stamp which shows the Date and the Username of the Current User or the signature.Acrobat does have a stamp like this in the examples, but i can't change them. I know that this is only possible with a calculated java-script.The date i get with this code:Event.value = util.printd("h:MM tt, MMM dd yyyy", New Date);But i can't find any solution for a username (embedded in this and i don't know any java-script-specialist.I hope you can help me.Thanks and have  some nice christmas days!

In Win 10 con Adobe Acrobat reader quando salvo qualsiasi file con qualsiasi estensione diversa da .pdf viene salvato sempre con stensione .pdf . Sapete perchè ?

Hello Adobe Support Community, I have just recently came to know that adobe.com provide api's to users to create pdf tools website? I wanna create a website that allows the user to convert pdf to word, pdf merging, spliting and watermarking etc.  I want you to guide me.

There is a PDF file located in SharePoint. When User A inserts a comment, Acrobat Reader displays User A as author of that comment. But when User B inserts a comment, Acrobat Reader still displays User A as author of that comment. Both User A and User B does not have login on Acrobat Reader.Both User A and User B have a Microsoft account with access in SharePoint (the place which the PDF resides). How can I let User B to display as author of comments?.

Hi, I have been using digital signing for a while, on the same computer, but now that th program was updated, it does not see mz digital IDs. I disabled the new version, but nothing. When I log in and look, mz digital signatures are there, listed, with options, but none of them let me to place it on the document that needs signing. I do not want to change anzthing, as I am abroad and cannot contact the gov.department that issued it. But the problem seems to be that thez are in my profile, but the program does not let me draw a rectangle. It just shows thta option of me typing my name, which is useless. The signature I have is valid until 2027. Help, anybody?

snapshot disappeared from drop down under edit.  right clicked tool bar, enabled snapshot, still cant take snapshot. any fix? 

I'm printing regular pdf file from acrobat reader (latest version) and configured my printer to be able to print double-sided (and it says long-edge).However, when I print, the double-side printing is done on short-edge flip no matter what options I choose. This is extremely annoying.

Saludos... el archivo PDF adjunto provoca que la version de Adobe Reader Desktop se congela. Sin embargo el documento abre muy bien con el Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Wodershare PDFelement y el Adobe Acrobat online. Es como si hubiera un error en el Acrobat Reader. El documento adjunto es un dibujo con una sola línea en diagonal. Si abre el contenido con un editor de texto podrá ver que es bien sencillo. Si alguien puede ver donde esta el problema, lo agradeceré. O si el problema es con el Reader, informarlo a Acrobat para que le hagan una actualización.  Gracias.

Hello all,  I am wondering if there is a way in Adobe reader(pro or standard) to search for naming structures. I would like to use this to make it easier to anylise contracts with a lot of clauses that are all different but are similarly structured. An example: I have clause 123.123-1234 and 123.124-6789, could I search for the structure xxx.xxx-xxxx and have it find all clauses structures that way? 

Hi, anyone used zscaler? I had an issue with the adobe installation and it was blocked by the zscaler app. I checked the firewall insighg but unable to find the exact urls or port.. can some one help me?

I have seen many posts/discussion on this subject but none of the solutions seem to work..I was able to view an Acrobat document this monring but now I cannot. I sometime receive a very late message "A running instance of Acrobat has caused and error".I "End"the task via Task Manager but it still doesn't work.  

When I try to use the measurement tool, regardless of the scale settings the tool will switch from distance to Geospatial distance after clicking the PDF. Need the regular distance tool to work.

I keep getting this pop-up and it just freezes and I have to force quit.Tried reinstalling and using the cleaning tool, and tried different hard drives, but no luck.
