Acrobat Reader

Below/Attached is the title block of the AAR program I'm using on my desktop running Win.10.I do a fair amount of selling on eBay, and use AAR to print shipping labels which are downloads from the eBay site.Each time I print, I select my Brother's QL-500 printer, but then have to also select the eBay configuration I have saved and the orientation. Not a major hassle, but I was wondering if there were a way I could set this configuration within AAR to be the default when I select the QL-500 printer???Thank you in advance! Michael 

In our organization we're having two problems with regards to PDF's. We're using Acrobat Reader DC 2022. The main problem is, that when endusers try to open a PDF, during the day over time it takes increasingly more time to open a PDF. The first few PDF's open relatively quickly, but the PDF's load more slowly, up to the point that when trying to open a PDF, all the user gets is a grey screen and the PDF never opens. The strange part is that the problem is not consistent and we are not able to reproduce the problem - I've opened hundreds of PDF's, but I have not seen the problem. We have confirmed that the problem occurs, by observing one of our endusers. The second problem is relatively minor: it takes a few seconds (+/- 8-12 seconds) for the first PDF to start, but this can be solved by opening and closing Adobe Reader in the background. It is not clear if the two problems are related. Are there others that have observed this issue and if so, were you able to find

After initially opening a pdf file the first page images immediately and then a second later the pages freeze and after a time you can scroll the pages again. I have noticed that this is a result of repeatedly closing the Acrobat application rather than closing the pdf file within the application. To avoid the delay/freeze, close the file itself with, [Ctrl+W], or, click the "small x" under the main window icons in the upper right, or finally, from the main menu "File>Close"    

How do I turn off Other File Storage? I don't want any actual or future UNC paths inside to be accessible to our end users. We user Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 2022.003.20322 64 bit/ This app is available as a Remote App inside an Azure Virtual Desktop Workspace in our IT infra. 

I was looking through statements that I received in the mail. Many of them were in PDF. I opened one. The Acrobat Reader DC wanted to log in. It's true I have an account, but at the moment to glance at a simple statement quickly, it was not the right time to ask.  I didn't want to log in. The application showed the login window as modal, blocking the content underneath. It was in the way of other applications. I couldn't minimize the window. When I went to the menu bar at the top of the screen on a Mac, I could not quit the application normally either.  Instead I was forced to go to the Apple menu and Force Quit the application. Now the question is why the window had to be forced on me, why did the login window have to be modal, why is a normal quit not available, why must I be logged in to be able to quit, why must I be logged in to be able to see my other applications on the screen, do you realize that you don't own my computer and you're only supposed t

Hello!I recentelly started using Adobe Acrobat for my schoolwork. My schoollaptop is a Mac but I come from a PC so I wanted to change the standard [Command + C] shortcut to [Control + C], since I'm more familiar with that command. I was able to change it in MS Word with tools in the Mac Systempreferences (Keyboard -> Shortcuts). That was successful, but when I try doing the same procedure for Adobe Acrobat it just does not want to work.  Anyone know a fix for this? What is causing this issue? Is there any other way of changing the shortcuts that I'm not aware of? 

How do I get the "Plug-in" menu in my Adobe Acrobat Pro?

Tudo bem. Uso pdfs enormes, com até 450 páginas, e a busca por palavras é muito lenta (tanto Ctrl + F como Crtl + Shft + F). Tentei incorporar índices, mas não ajudou muito. Inclusive vi no site da adobe a seguinte mensagem:"A partir da versão de dezembro de 2018 do Acrobat e do Acrobat Reader, o índice incorporado no PDF não é mais usado para pesquisa. Caso você ainda queira habilitar o índice para pesquisa, consulte Como habilitar o índice incorporado em um PDF para pesquisa." Essa mensagem quer dizer que incorporar índice não fará nenhuma diferença na velocidade da busca por palavras?? Sabem como posso realmente aumentar a velocidade das buscas por palavras no acrobat reader? Agradeço por qualquer dica. Abraço!

Is there any volume limit in Adobe Reader DC (free of charge) when using document signing and document signing through certificates?... where electronic countersignature transaction is not relevant? 

I started the trial period for Adobe Reader Pro to be able to add bookmarks to my PDF but those options still appear unable to me. Are bookmarks not offered in the trial period?

The attached 3D PDF has an animation of robot moving from one position to another (link is valid for 30 days).The animation plays and renders the robot moving in 32-bit version of Adobe Reader v21.7.20099.454979. However, the animation does play but does not render the robot motions in 64-bit version of Adobe Reader. The 3D PDF is generated by creating PRC or U3D model, and the animation is a stream of frames. Has anything changed in 64-bit Adobe Reader that requires the 3D PDF to be structured in a certain way? I ask because other 3D PDFs available online do play the animation and render motions but upon inspection of those files and mine I notice they have some differences.

When I attempt to digitally sign a document by clicking on the signature field, it brings up "Sign with a Digital ID" dialog box.After creating a new entry in the keychain it gives me the options to choose how the signature should appear on the document:- Text- Draw- Image- NoneI would like to use my signature scan that I previously uploaded to my computer.So I choose "Image" > "Browse"It brings up the standard Finder to select my image file. Result:Only PDF files are valid to select. When I hit options at the bottom, the "Show" dropdown only allows Acrobat PDF Files to be selected. Expected:I can choose any valid image format (PNG, JPG etc) Are there any work-arounds to this? I have been trying to cancel my bill. But it seems when I went back into my account it still shows my bill. I have tried to cancel it but it is still there.

I am currently on Acrobat Pro (version 2023.001.20093) on windows 11.I downloaded the language pack and as I try to install, it shows an error message saying I need to be on a version higher than DC 22.001.20085My version is the latest and yet it is showing this error. What am i missing?I am trying to create a PDF file in japanese, when I try to use the drop down menu, none of the words in japanese display (just blank). Every other component shows Japanese without a problem, just the drop down menu issue.I'm hoping this language pack will solve the problem.If anybody can help me with both problems or the language display issue, it is much appreciated.Thank in advance!

Hi. I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (free) and Office 2019. I had the "ACROBAT" tab in my Office Applications but somehow after I reainstalled office, I can't get the tab to show anymore. I tried almost everything listed on https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/pdfmaker-unavailable-office-2007-office.html but had no success. The major issues I found related the solutions was:1. PDFMaker Office COM Add-in doesn't show on Word's Add-in COM settings.2. I dont have the C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\PDFMaker\Office\PDFMOfficeAddin.dll path. It only goes to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC, where there isn't any "PDF Maker" file. 

Hello,My name is Pawel. I have a strange case with some of PDF files I received by e-mail attatched. Generally I have a habit of keeping important files in Adobe Cloud. Some PDF files saved in this way, when opened in Adobe storage, contain no text, just tables and graphics. The text that was visible in the email preview disappears after importing.Pls, help!

Since a few days using the measuring tool i am not able to measure the circumference and periphery in a drawing when the angles are not square. when the lines are diagonal, i am not able to measure them.I could do so in the past. What happened? How to solve this bug?  

What am I doing wrong? Any ideas?Installed Reader X 3 times since yesterday onto differnt Windows 7 machines - including once onto a clean Windows 7 Enterprise 32bit install (i.e. no old versions of anything to remove) - and on all atempts once the software is installed and run, i just get a runtime error and it won't open up.  Screenshots below

When editing a field, a black border forms and stays if a change is made.  Is there a way to remove this border?  I cannot seem to find anything.

Is there a way to place the Quick Tools from Left to Right? By default it should be on the Right and I don't know why it switch to the Left. I even tried Uninstall/Reinstall Adobe Acrobat reader from -> Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Download | Free PDF viewer for Windows, Mac OS, Android Can't find any fix on Google but maybe here      

Please help!  Not sure if others are running into this error, but it started happening about a week or 2 ago and we cannot stop it.  All users on the servers randmly receive the pop-up, but it is only seems once per day.  We can close the error and continue without issue.  Repaired the install, completely removed and reinstalled Adobe Reader but we keep receiving the error.  Seems to be a program  related bug as the error happens at the same time on 3 different servers.  Also disabled the Adobe update service, but the errors still appeared..  Thank you.
