Em Inglês o texto diz "This file claims compliance with the PDF/A standard .... ", na versão em Português o texto foi traduzido p/"Este arquivo está em conformidade com o padrão PDF/A ... ".Este erro pode induzir muitas pessoas ao erro pois 'claim' significa 'alega' e não 'está' . A diferença de siginifcado é gigantesca e com a possibilidade de gerar muita dor de cabeça para os usuários pois o padrão PDF/A é recomendado em algumas situações e em outras ele é exigido.
After the latest update to Reader the app is extremly slow to open. I have uninstalled/reinstalled that didnt make a difference. I have tried several tweeks to the program with no success. It opens slowly if its a terminal session or if I logon locally to the server it doesnt seem to matter. I have timed it and it takes 10 seconds to open when I click on Adobe Reader icon so Im not even clicking on a PDF just opening the app. Once the app is open I can open PDF's thru the app and it works fine. This is affecting all 7 of my terminal servers
This has been driving me absolutely nuts lately and I've tried everything I can think of to resolve the issue.Using Adobe Reader DC, it stopped allowing me to open documents unless I choose the full-screen view option. I do not ever see the normal screen that has "Home" and "Tools" in the top left corner. It seems like I have the same symptoms as in this post: Creative Cloud Acrobat on Mac will Not open documents which wasn't truly resolved.I have tried the following to fix the issue:1. Restarting the computer2. Running updates on Acrobat Reader3. Dragging Reader from Applications to Trash and then re-downloading and re-installing.4. Manually comparing Adobe Reader preferences with a fresh install of OSx El Capitan and Adobe Reader DC5. Attempts to remove every trace of Acrobat Reader DC have not been successful. (followed the steps in this script to remove everything manually)The issue even persisted after moving to a new Mac and u
I have a PDF that prints format-filling on A4 (i.e. without a border).I want to have it scaled down and printed with a 25mm binding margin on the left.I can reduce the size with Adobe, but unfortunately the reduced output then shifts to the top left corner, so nothing is gained.Does anyone know a trick how to get this centered?Since I print duplex, it would be ideal if the text were right-aligned on odd pages and left-aligned on even pages, but generally centered would be fine too.It is an instruction manual. I don't have access to the source file. Thanks ...
Dear community.I have search about it and I couldn't find an answer.I am installing Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (latest version available in Winget repository), and when I search in the registry I can only find a "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\11.0\FeatureLockDown\cSharePoint" key. It actually has the bDisableSharePointFeatures set to 1.Should I manuallly create a key for DC "\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown\cSharePoint" or is the 11.0 the right path Best regards
Is it possible to make the select tool the default instead of the hand tool when I open Reader? It used to do this and I prefer it that way, but it's such a pain now that every time I open a new document I have to change to the select tool.
Always when I open a file in Acrobat Reader the program also opens the tool box on the right side of the screen and some other tools on the left side (bookmarks). I close them, but when I open a new file the boxes are there again. Is it possible to turn them off permanently.Version: Acrobat Reader DC 2015
I am really annoyed on how bad Adobe is failing to test their products before releasing them. I can't delete a page from Acrobat Pro DC.I am very familiar with how to delete and extract pages and THESE OPTIONS NO LONGER WORK!I have selected the page, click the trash bin and the first pop-up with: "Are you sure you want to delete the page from the document?" I click OK, then this pop-up appears: "One or more pages are in use and could not be deleted."I also when through the prompts for extraction and the other methods for deleting and again, these functions do not work. What the hell?!?!?! Not cool Adobe. Really not a fan of all the things you have changed across the Adobe CC either. You are making it extremely difficult to work in these programs. Keep the defaults as is! Let us choose these annoying new features if we want to!
Acrobat Pro 64-bit (2022.003.20282) on a Dell Vostro 7500 model P102F with Win11. I am generating a report which contains a number of text fields. I have to add additional text fields in Acrobat manually which subsequently lose the assigned fonts after saving the file and reopening the next day. The text fields have TT fonts (Arial/TNR). Only the text fields added manually lose the font. They become ghost characters in the text fields. I have to manually reassign the fonts in order for the characters to reappear. As this report takes me 4-5 hours to prepare, I have also noted that Acrobat will slow down as I continue to work. I can close and reopen the application which sometimes will speed things back up. This feels like a memory leak or something that is bogging down system resources, but I can't be sure. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. -JA
Acrobat reader will not open on my PC. I have run the cleaner tool and reinstalled, I have tried to install in compatibility mode for both windows 7 & 8 (even though I have Windows 10), I have created a new user profile on my PC and I have tried to disable my antivirus software, it still doesn't work. I keep getting an error "Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe) but when I open the folder, the application (.exe) file is there. I can not open any pdf's or open Acrobat Reader at all. Have been trying several different things for a number of days now but havent found a solution. Please help!
This is how Opera and Google Chrome show my URL after I click a button in the PDF, which opens a PDF file.//example.azurewebsites.net/CANGC/Process/off-site-facility-management/6_1-Chemistry/Step-Descriptions/6-1-1/6-1-1-1.pdf This is how Edge shows the URL after the click, which cannot locate the file.//example.azurewebsites.net/CANGC/Process/off-site-facility-management/6_1-Chemistry/Flow-Chart/6.1%20Ultrasonic%20Chemistry%20Management/2.%20Process%20Design/2b.%20Step%20Descriptions/1%20-%20Chemical%20Inventory/6-1-1-1.pdf Edge rewrote the URL longer, forcing the path wrong. What's funny is that I put the same URL into the Edge Browser, which opens that PDF file. The extensions do not solve my problem. Is there another solution out there, Adoe Reader Community?

Since some time (about a year I suggest) Acrobat Reader does not show my 3D PDFs correctly anymore (on former versions this was OK) - first picture is from an actual Acrobat Reader, second picture is from an old Acrobat Pro version (former versions of Acrobat Reader did show it correctly as well).
I used the pro version of Acrobat to create a PDF presentation that includes video. If I open this presentation on a different computer, will the video in my PDF still play on the free version of Acrobat?
The attached pdf file (main.pdf) does not print properly using Adobe Acrobat Reader (version in subject line) under Windows 11 and Windows 10 (both desktops), but surprisingly, it is printed properly on my laptop running Windows 10. While the file is displayed on screen ok, when printed extra (or not enough) vertical space is inserted, messing up the page formatting. In this simple example the footnote and the page number appears in the middle of the page instead of at the bottom.Given the fact that the problem does not appear on my laptop, I suspect there might be some clash between the latest version of Adobe Reader and Windows PDF printer drivers. The file prints without problems under iOS (iPhone), MacOS (Mac Mini), and Linux (Ubuntu). It also prints without problems under Windows using a browser (Edge or Google Chrome), or using another PDF Reader like Slim PDF Reader 2.0.
I have Acrobat reader installed (I think I do). I don't want to edit pdf documents. I just want to read them when someone sends one to me or when they send me a link to one that is on-line. But when I press the link to view the pdf on-line I get asked to log into Acrobat and then I still don't see the document. I just want a simple solution to reading pdfs.
I have seen a lot of older posts regarding an issue similar to this, but for some reason I cannot see the answers (though they were marked as successfully answered). What I need is an explanation of how to tell, within Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, whether FIPS cryptography is turned on or off. We (U.S. Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command) are currently experiencing an issue whereby if they attempt to fill, sign, and then save a fillable, signable PDF form using Adobe Acrobat DC (the full version) we get an error message saying that "Document could not be saved. Use of non-FIPS cryptography is not permitted while in FIPS mode" (attachment with screencap). But if we do the same thing in Reader DC, it works just fine.My question is, when the message says "while in FIPS mode" is that referring to the mode that Adobe is in, or the mode Windows is in? If it's Adobe, how can I see the setting in each of the to applications? We are using Reader DC version 2021.001.201
Hola, buenas tardes.
My employer recently issued me a new Windows 10 laptop with Adobe Pro XI. The document title/filename is not displaying at the top of the window. See screenshot below - normally there should be a doc title or filename (whichever is selected in Preferences) to the right of the Adobe icon at the top.I don't really care about this when the document is open, but I do care that the doc name also doesn't display in the taskbar. So if I have multiple documents opened and minimized, I can't see what they are to select one. I can't get a picture to illustrate this problem, but to see what I mean, open 2 PDFs and minimize them. Then hover over the Adobe icon in the toolbar - you see how the doc names are displayed to the right of the Adobe icon at the top of the thumbnails so you can choose the correct one? I don't see any names - only thumbnails with the Adobe icon at the top right.
Is there no longer a free version of acrobat reader? All I want to do is edit a PDF. Do I have to pay a monthly subscription fee?
