Acrobat Reader

Hello I am trying to use the read out loud feature on my adobe reader acrobat DC to read a pdf written in Spanish.I have tried going to the language setting through Preferences, Languages, Application Language.It is currently set to: same as operating system.I do not have any other option available.How can I get the program to read my document out loud in Spanish?Thank you all in advance

Hello everyone,I have the following "strange" problem.Use Acrobat Reader to edit forms.When I load a dynamic form, a window comes up twice where it only shows "No error"and then comes the usual text that my viewer is not able to display this type of document.Reloaded the Adobe Reader DC (64-bit), but without success.The same file/form can be opened without problems with most of the colleagues I have tried,just not on my laptop and PC. What can be the reason that I cannot open dynamic forms? ..although others can. Ps. I also went through all the settings, also without success. Am desperate ... any help is more than welcome. Thank you for your time and understanding

Every Time I open Acrobat this pop-up appears and then dissapears before it can load properly. This happens about ten times in sucession. The pop-up tries to load, crashes, and then opens again. There is no title to the pop-up, its just a stock image (this changes with every pop-up) with a white box over it and a loading symbol. I have no idea what it is as it closes before it can load any text.  Its not affecting the program in any way it's just very annoying. 

Hi, after the Update to Acrobat Reader DC 64-bit I cannot drag and drop text from a PDF opened in the Adobe PDF Reader AddOn in Internet Explorer. This also applies to files opened inside the AxAcroPdf plugin for .NET Applications.On the other hand, drag & drop is possible when I open it in Acrobat Reader DC directly. (after disabling sandbox in security settings)It worked fine with the 32-bit version of Reader DC. Can anyone give me a hint how to enable Drag & Drop for the 64-bit version?

Hi, on the latest version (Adobe Reader 2019.010.20099) I have issues selecting and highlighting text on some PDFs.  On a Chrome-based pdf viewer, however, I have no issue selecting the text, so I believe this is an Adobe Issue and NOT a PDF issue.  Is this a bug that needs to be fixed?Same PDF on chrome:Thanks for your help.

Hello, apologies if this has an obvious answer but I have searched everywhere and don't understand! I have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader and and am trying to install the accessability plug-in CommonLook but I can't see the plug-in drop down on my toolbar. I have been into settings and disabled protection mode. Am I missing something or are plug ins not available with the free version of reader? Thanks!

This was the ONLY reason I paid for a subscription: I receive long legal documents in Hebrew that I have to translate into English so need to Export to Word to then use a free translation service.But when Acrobat extracts the original Hebrew text it dumps the Hebrew text as gibberish - strings of letters and numbers. Need some help please: havent had this issue and i did do the last two back to back up-dates now my true reds, maroons etc are coming of in brownish tones 😞 I can not get my reds to work and pop at all - please any suggestions and i have tried all updates and both printers - cannon and an epson - checked updates there tooIt on the screen fine in photoshop and illustrator and i send for print bam browns for my reds

 Hello guys, My problem is that on the preview page before printing the bottom and top  margin looks  good.But as soon i start printing them the top and bottom  Margin movesabout 5mm  Down and top.

HiHope you guys can helpJust got a new Laptop and installed Acrobat Reader so i can open my PDF Files. But when i open a PDF File, the upper bar disapears sometimes (Minimize/close). Sometimes right after i open the file or just when i move the mouse op to minimize it disapears.It's like it "Jumps" and "freezes" on the screen, but the Acrobat Reader is fully functional, I can scroll and open toolbar and so on. Sometimes I can provoke the bar to appear if i minimize Acrobat Reader on the Windows bar at the bottom and open the Acrobat Reader again.  Checked if there was any updates for it, but it is fully updated.  Best regards Miki    

I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. My issue is the app opens automatically when  I sign in to my AirMac. How do I stop this? I already removed and reinstalled the app and that did not work.

Hello, we have many users in our company with the following situation.They are using Adobe Reader DC with Fill & Sign. It worked perfectly in the past.Now many users have the the problem that the dialogue for save is missing after putting the signature to the document.So if you click next after signing the popup should appear - see the attachment.But for many users the diaglogue will not appear and the document will be directly transfered to Adobesign. The question is: what controls that the dialgoue for Save a copy of the signature or request signature?Is this a registry key? We have the following installation / Version - companywideC:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exeVersion: 22.1.20085.0 Any Idea?Please support. RegardsDocumentGuy  

Environment:- Domain joined Wiindows 10 computers- Group Policy enforced/deployed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC- Adobe Acrobat XI Pro simultaneously present on some machines, but on machines where it isn't, Adobe Acrobat DC takes it's place (Adobe Creative Cloud).Issue persistent on either configuration. To my knowledge, the issue is new, and previously worked as expected with the Deployment via GPO.Issue: Icon is represented as blank page icon (white rectangle, folded corner). This issues is OS-wide (Desktop, Outlook, File Explorer). Switching the "opens with" setting via Right-click>Properties>General>Change to MS Edge, or either of the aforementioned Adobe programs fixes the issue, as the icons are updated to reflect the assigned program. For obvious reasons, that is not the desired solution.I'm currently standing up a VM to test if the deletion of XI Pro will resolve the issue, but would be more interested in resolving it in another way.

Is there any way to quickly switch or pick highlight colors in acrobat reader? It takes so long to switch/pick colors by clicking and selecting.Is there any way to keep the color selector always displaying the highlitht colors on a toolbar?

We have a Problem with PDFs on our DFS.In the PDF, we are linking to other PDFs on the DFS. When I change the install directory from C:\Program Files (x86)Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC to D:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe/Acrobat Reader DC, the installation always fails with an error about a directory being empty. This doesn't happen on the C:\ drive. The workaround is to manually create the D:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe, and then the ..\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC directories, and then the installation proceeds without a problem. I don't understand why the instll process can't create its own directories when you are installing to a different drive.

I'm hoping this is the right forum I couldn't find one for acrobat professional. I am wanting to add security to my PDF books to prevent people from copying part or the whole of my book to a separate file. I have created a PDF file then opened it inside professional, gone into the security section and added the required restrictions. Saved the changes saved the file and exited the file. I've noticed that it takes quite a long time for save to finish. However when I go to check the file size I've noticed that the size has blown from about 5 Mb megabytes  to 22 MB. Is this normal it seems ridiculous that the adding DRM to my file has added an extra 17 MB to the file size

I have a new install of Acrobat Reader (May 2022) and it doesn't display all signatures - it appears to be missing fonts or something. I have recieved some notifications about fonts - but this issue never corrects itself. Is there a package I can install to fix this?

Morning,  Issue We are experiencing an issue across our server and pc estate where when viewing PDFs using internet explorer 11 with adobe acrobat reader (reader version 2022.001.20117) (IE plugin version 21.11.20039.0) in an iframe.  The web application re-uses the HTML iframe to load different PDFs from our web based document storage.  Loading the 1st PDF in the iframe works as expected, Loading the 2nd PDF in the iframe now hangs at the initializing stage.    This is a legacy web application we have been using for circa 15 years, the issue has only started since updating to the latest version of acrobat reader (2022.001.20117).  PCs still running older versions of the acrobat reader do not experience this issue. Disabling enhanced security via the Security (Enhanced) preferences or using the registry key bEnhancedInBrowser prevent the issue occuring but this is not a workaround we can implement due to infosec requirements.&

I have Adobe Reader X and Windows XP.  Is there anyway to convert photos in a pdf format to a jpg photo?  I'm not very computer literate and need simple instructions.

I am unable to select version in step-3 And when I click download, nothing is downloaded !!! 

It takes a significant amount of time for my computer to save as it is searching for the appropriate files on my PC. I often have to cancel the save attempt and start all over again. Any ideas as to how to solve this issue? Thanks.
