Acrobat Reader

running version 2020.012.20041 on windows server 2012 R2 on remote sessionsif I try to print a PDF by right-clicking a file and selecting "print" I get an application error and it crashes Acrobat Reader(see attached file). opening the files and printing them works normally, only the quick function to print does it.our MRP is using that function to batch print the drawings for our works orders, so it's now horrible to have to open every drawing manually to print them. I don't have any problem on our Windows 10 machines, only on the server. edit: we found a way to bypass the problem: if we keep the program open before sending the documents to print, it doesn't crash

On macOS 12.4, Monterey, Reader 22.001.20112 hangs immediately on loading. Beach ball immediately. I've reinstalled it and rebooted the Mac. New behaviour today. No recent OS updates or app installations that might explain it.

My PDF will allow me to interact with the text, but the highlighter is unavailable on it, as is the ability to annotate or comment on the file. I'm not sure how to solve the problem. 

So I want to make my page be as large as my laptop screen, and in the process read two pages side by side like a book. I followed the instructions here . But I get this message when I click Add/Modify.  It happens on every page size I want to custom. I specifically want to edit the Screen one. Or at least add my own page name or format to the list. How to make it happen? 

If you have opened a PDF document in Adobe Reader and want to send it via the email send button, nothing happens.

I have Acrobat Standard DC and trying to create a document with digital signature.  Went through some help files, but can't seem to the tool bar that will create digital signatures in a document.  Before I purchased the Standard (instead of Professional), it list digital signatures as a feature with Standard.  Help!

Dear AllI have very strange issue.when I upload my cv in one of recuriment sites, it aploaded as jpg!!!!It is writting that i can Upload it using pdf or jpg or png.I selected my pdf file it can see it as pdf but when it uploaded it becomes jpg and the resuloation is very bad.I tried all the browsers, even I tried it from another PC. BUT the same problemcan you help me. 

I have forever been a huge Adobe fan, and never had a bad word to say about any product (well, I've never been too happy about the cost of Acrobat).   But whatever Adobe is trying to do with Adobe Reader is irritating beyond words.  It's a gross intrusion on my workflow, and locking up my computer until it's dealt with is several steps over the line. What happened to the old, user-friendly Adobe?! I am avoiding the Reader like the plague. ww

I am usind the latest version of Acrobat Reader DC under MacOS 12.3.1 with an M1 processor. Everytime I am opening the Reader it becomes unresponsive with a spinning wheel. I have tried several times to re-install the Reader with no result. The Reader becomes totally unresponsive, so that I cannot even go to the 'preferences' as suggested. 

hello, I am using adobe acrobat reader on my Chromebook and there is no way i can create a folder to keep my files in. The button just seems to be missing... If anyone cold tell my why this is happening, I would appreciate it. Thanks 🙂

Le he sometido a los antivirus y malware que dispongo y no parece estar infectado. If well is true than can hide it using Shift+F4 or click at the arrow next to that panel, when you open attached PDFs this panel opens again

Can anybody tell me why the tickbox in a form i made in InDesign will not work (interactive pdf) on my customers iPad.It does work on my Powerbook but i havend got a iPad to check it myself. Never had a need for one.We are trying te set it to only "klick" apost to "release and klick" and see if that'll work.Latest version Reader working so....Anyone any idea please give us a helping hand. Hi all,I am not able to select the text to copy paste the same in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. I checked the security under Edit>Protection> Security Properties>Document Restriction Summary . It is showing Content Copying as "Allowed" , but still not able to copy paste the text.Please help.

I used ot have a very fluid acces to adobe, using basycally only ordianry PDF's which once ina whiel I woudl convert into Word or Excel docuemnts... baci asic work.I tnow takkes kiterraly a few minutes o open each document. it crashes once in awhile when doing so or gets totaly stuck.Also when using the Filing and signing tool (which we pay for...) it takes at least oen if not two minutes to get operational. As if my computer had to go online ot find my signature sample.WHAT IS GOING ON...THIS IS VERY PAINFUL

Good morning all, I am trying to install Adobe Reader on my Windows 11 computer.  I have Adobe Acrobat DC installed already but I specifically want to install just Reader.I download the file then open and run the installer.  The first time I did this, the installer added a McAfee add on (which I didn't ask for) then presented a screen showing no issues and that no previous versions were installed.  I clicked on Finish and the installer file itself disappears (I guess it deletes itself).  Issue is that when I search my computer to run Reader, it appears Reader is not in fact installed.  What gives? Please help!!ThanksChris

My computer recently updated to windows 11 - Adobe works fine on my computer but if i try to drop a file in google drive i get an error message..  I try to download the new version but it says i already have it.. has anyone had this problem?  

Hi, I've read all posts about this argument but I still couldn't find a solution.I have a PDF file with signatures.3 users see the same file with all valid signatures, 30 users with the same adobe version see the same files with not valid signatures.When I analyze signatures a message tell me that the file has been modified or corrupted since it has been signed.The funny thing is that when I just open the PDF and make no changes and try to close the file adobe always asks me if I want to save the changes, I always obviously choose no but it asks me that everytime.On other software that check signatures all signatures are valid.On a adobe pro version I have no errors.All computer are windows10 based.What can I do to solve?Thank you

Hello,I have a user in my company who had a problem with the Arial fonts in some document.When he open some PDF generate from one of our software he got this weird fonts instead of the arial one. If he open the pdf in other software ( Edge, Chrome or Word ) there are correctly loaded. When i copy the text from Adobe to word i can see the fonts is a tmp one from the <user>\AppData\Local\Temp\acrobat_sbx folder. Rebooting the computer and deleting the file in the folder before opening Adobe fix the problem, but it's a temporary solution.I tried to reinstall Adobe Reader, enable the setting "use local fonts" but that doesn't fix the problem.Sometime when he reopen Adobe and he refresh the view by hiding the side menu the Arial fonts is comming back.

I just downloaded adobe reader today to access layered sewing pattern files. The first few layered files i printed were fine. Then, it started only printing the instructions portion, but then not printing the layered portion (the pattern itself). I tried multiple files, to include one that had printed correctly earlier today. I also tried deleting and then redownloading the files themselves, as well as adobe itself (then reinstalled). Nothing works. I haven't changed any settings. I don't get it. I'm printing via wifi to a brother laser printer. It does send to the printer, and the printer icon appears on my mac, and says "printing page 1), but nothing happens. Arghghhh. Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

hello, we are getting this message if we try to save a signed document (via adobe Sign or by using Fill & Sign in Adobe Reader.How can we avoid this message? (like vie GPO or Registry Settings).The problem only happens by saving "signed" documents.We have over 20.000 users, and i dont want to explain each user to check the checkbox.Please support. Thank you.

I have speant hours on this nonsense, everytime I try to download the free version of reader and install it tells me there is a newer version installed already ?  total utter frustrating rubbish.Spent hours serching around and trying forums just to find download links for an older version - do yu have one please ?  not interested in anything else just an older version thanks
