Acrobat Reader

my Reader can't be open the pdf which is in the USB disk and make the protection for USB. current reader version is 21.011.20039.I checked old pdf version in the old Reader version some month ago, that's no any issues. other person/ PC can open the pdf files also. other pdf reader is good also. when I deinstalled the Reader APP, and try to reinstall,but can not find the APP to download. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Adobe Acrobat DC both can not open the files in USB. the version is same, which is autoupgrade some days ago.

Hello,I'm having an issue with one computer.  When a limited user logs in on the computer and clicks the "email" icon, they get a blank pop up that does nothing for them.  We also discovered that when they try to "save as" that screen is blank as well.  I was able to fix this part of the issue by unchecking the "show online storage when saving" option, but I'm still having issues with the email icon.  My troubleshooting steps so far:simple rebootuninstall - reboot - reinstallattempted same actions with an alternate limited user (same behavior)attempted same actions with an administrative user (problem does not present)Set outlook account to default under the email preferences. deleted user's windows profile I am now grasping at straws.  I would normally just reimage the computer, but the department head is against me doing anything like that to their employee's computers.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

When I try to open a file using the FILE-OPEN on the home page a previously used window opens. But, if I try to open a file or change the directory up one step the program crashes. I can open a file listed on the HOME page or from Windows File Explorer. I have version 21.011.20039 64bit on Windows 10 64bit. I have tried to repair the program and restarting my computer, neither work.

After upgrading my Adobe reader, it erase my permanent license, when I try to restore my license, I get an error that it is unable to restore my permanent license.Please help.

I am hoping that someone can help.  I am trying to use Adobe Acrobat Reader for an online purchase and need to attach a file before the purchase is complete, but the attachment feature is not working.  It is not an available option in the left navigation bar and if I try to go under view, tools and then comment it shows up at the top of my screen, but this time is greyed out.  Any help with this would be great.I have Windows 10 Pro and the most current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Whenever I (or another application) opens Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, it asks me to sign into an SJSU email ID and doesn't let me sign into any other type of account, interact with the application, or close the Adobe sign in page? Goodmorning, I create a PDF form as a template to print IDplates for the company I work with.In this form I added a Barcode in PDF417 as we use handheld scanner to scan the IDplates.Unfortunally our IDplate has changed to black background instead of "white" and the barcodes won't be red with the handheld scanner as the white needs to be black and otherway around.Is there a feature in that I could set the barcodes into inverted mode? regards, 

My company current signs documents using the Sign & Fill feature of Adobe reader and I am trying to push them to use Digital Signatures.I found this documentation that does a great job calling out the regulatory policies it fulfills and the cybersecurity, revision history, etc:https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/digital-signatures.htmlBut what I'm looking for is a document that calls out is why digital signatures are a higher standard that sign & fill (where we are using our mouse to sign docs).Is there such a document?

When opening files off a server, reader keeps hanging. One file will open, a second will not, error messages, I/O error or “file cannot be found.” Not consistent either. Can open same files another time, no hiccup.

Here is what I am getting. I am a paid subscriber and have the "Adobe Export PDF" plan.  I am logged into my account and my Internet connection is GOOD ! What can I do to get past this?

When I type in a comment in my sticky notes, it reads beautifully. As soon as I save the document, close it, and then go back into it - whoops! It's all in gibberish. Why does this happen?HOWEVER, if I open the Adobe website and from there retrieve my document, I can read it there perfectly. This confuses me and since I'm emailing the documents to people, it's embarassing that all they see is the gibberish. thank you!

Bonjour, je ne suis pas capable de voir l'option d'impression recto-verso dans acrobat reader pro DC. Pourtant mon imprimante peut clairement le faire j'ai une Brother L5200DW. J'ai trouvé un work around en convertissant le PDF en document Word et de la j'ai pu l'imprimer recto verso. On dirait qu'Acrobat reader ne reconnait pas que mon imprimante peu imprimer recto-verso. J'ai 2 imprimantes et lorsque je choisi mon imprimante a jet d'ancre l'option apparait. Avec vous une idee?___________________________________________________________________________________ Hello i have a brother l5200DW and the option to print both side is not available on Acrobat reader Pro DC. TO succed to print my big document, i had to convert it into word and i succed to print it both side like that. Is there a reason why that option is not available. When i select an other printer it apprear. I Feel like acrobat dont reconise that my printer can print both side. Any idea?

Hi, when I open a pdf form developed in Adobe Acrobe Pro/DC with signature fields in Edge/Chrome which is using Adobe Reader DC on Windows 10 business, click any of the signature field, it asks to save the file after signed. But on IE which is using Adobe Reader DC as well, there is no such saving step after signed. Please let us know what is the difference in such Reader DC on the different browsers or has a way to disable the saving step. Thanks,Michael

I use the stamp and digital signature to verify pdf documents.  After this, Adobe asks me to save the changes.  I have always used "save as" and then saved the document to indicate its been verified.  However, today, I cannot save or save as any documents that i have signed.  Adobe takes me through the process but what i have in the folder is a document unrecognisable in any format with half the name removed.Exampleoriginal pdf :  Laptop_PMNT  (openable, readable and editable by adobe) The adobe pdf file symbol indicates that it is a pdf.Post stamping and digital signature,Saved as:  Laptop_PMNT_ssResulting file saved on microsoft 365 :  Lapto (not reopenable, letters chopped off the original name) Empty rectangle indicating it is an unknown file type.  Asks me to search the microsoft store to find a suitable programme to open the file.  Microsoft has no suggestions.  

Hi CommunityI want to make a script which greys out one of two fields, depending on the field which gets a value input.Example: I have field A & B. If field A gets a value then Field B should become read-only/stay empty, and vice versa if field B is the one that's filled.

I had added a signature long time ago in any old version.This signature is still available and can added to any PDF without any problem.But I do not get the options to add a new signature or a new initial.How can this option being activated again?Thanks a lot in advance for any help!

I have not been able to use Adobe Reader for two weeks since my OS ran an update.   I've searched all over for a solution to this, incorporating those on these forums that I can try, but they don't work.  Let me be clear, when I double click on the reader icon, NOTHING HAPPENS.  It doesn't open and then close, it doesn't crash, it's doesn't allow me to go to preferences - nothing.  WHen I go to task manager, it shows reader 32 open in the background.  I need this program to run.  Please help me...

As seen in the photo above, when I open my html file inside adobe only half shows up (horizontally). Is there a way to format it such that I can view the whole thing?Even if it must become smaller.

As I posted in reply to an user, regarding last acrobat DC version 21.007.20091, I found out that the bug is related to an uncought error in those executables when they search for a proxy script (proxy.pac). net::ERR_PAC_SCRIPT_FAILEDline: 104: Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected end of input I didn't notice an error in my proxy.pac syntax, but even if there was, it is not correct for a program not to catch such an exception. Instead those executables keep looping filling up all of your available ram, freezing the PC. If you have such an issue, try:check in your clients "internet options" ->  connections -> LAN settings -> automatic configuration script, if you have one, disable it and check, the problem should be solved. I guess this last acrobat version needs a fast update / patch .......
