Acrobat Reader

Hi,  I don't know if this is some weird default setting, or a weird glitch. I'm coming from Mac to PC and completely baffled. Hope someone can help! I can open a PDF and view it, no problem. The problem is that when I open a second PDF, the first one closes. It appears that I cannot have two PDF's open at the same time. Not in different windows, not in different tabs. Just one PDF at a time, full stop.  I'm using Adobe Reader Touch v3.1, Build 87675 on Windows 10 Home v21H1.  Any ideas? Is this a product "feature", setting or glitch? Thanks!

Hello, running Acrobat Reader 21.007 installed on an image on a Citrix farm and it keeps auto updating to the latest version after the servers boot up (when users sign in?) I have:-disabled the update service-disabled the update task in task scheduler-changed the registry key: hklm\software\wow6432node\adobe\adobe arm\legacy\reader\<random #>  Mode 3 changed to Mode 0 Do I need to take more drastic measures and edit my hosts file so it can't resolve armmf.adobe.com?  WTH Adobe. Everytime your application updates it breaks a medical application.

I have been using fill and sign for many documents for many years.  The last two times, after completing many pages, then saving and closing, then I reopen and instead of the text that I previously entered, all there  are are a few numbers and spaces in place of all the text.  See attached snip. So frustrating!  Please tell me how to correct!

My company deals with PDF copies of drawings on a daily basis, and all the myriad of tool bars and crap around the parameter of the application reduces the drawings to the point they are illegible.  So the hundreds of users have to mouse around and hide these tool bars, resulting is countless clicking and inefficiencies on a daily basis.  The reader is embedded into our PLM system as a viewer, but we also use the Adobe reader as a standalone applications too, and in both cases the situation is the same.  How can we, by default hide, all these toolbars?  98% of our PDF work is simply reading the drawing/document, yet to do that we have to remove these toolbars each and every time.

So I'm trying to manually correct an OCR from a file. I ran into a problem that the OCR wrongly recognized some texts but it won't let me correct it.This is the original text.This is the OCRed text. As you can see, it only allows me to correct the text before the "A/4/". I wonder if there is anyway to either1) delete the recognized "A/4/" so that I can make up for it just by the red block before it. I know I can delete the recognition for the red blocks by leaving it blank.or2) there is any way that I can make that text correctable. Thank you so much for the help! 

Dear Reader,We are currently using Acrobat Reader DC version DC Oct 2021 (21.007.20099) in Citrix.In last week of December, we received an error related to Citrix XenApp to which post troubleshooting we identified that RdrCEF.exe process running on the server is disabling the Citrix Universal DLL injection Driver due to which it impacted lauching of the applications from Citrix.Initially, server restart worked and issue did not appear.Unfortunately, in January 2022 we faced the similar issue.Workaround was provided from the citrix community to update UviProcessExcludes registry entry by appending the reader process.I would like to know what could be the probable cause of such issue? Is it a known issue which you have already acknowledged and working on it to fix it permanently?

Dear Support, we were running Acrobat Reader 2017 Enteprise without issues. Since we deployed the Jan 2022 update 17.011.30207 we have constantly crashes and now in 7 days or 54.000 instances. We had something similar in the past and it was a bug. I got the Reader Distribution License Agreement from Web page.<Adobe Distribution License Agreement>If I signed this Agreement ,Can I install the Adobe Reader DC and view the PDF with the Acrobat Reader DC on Windows Server ?Can I view the PDF with the Acrobat Reader DC  via Windows Terminal Service or Remote Desktop with in intranet or remote access with vpn?

I need help.  I have an assignment that requires me to have the same 'title' and 'file name' for the pdfs I submit.  This is next to impossible.  Even when I use the convert in Adobe it messes with the font and formatting.  Can I do this using adobe some how?  Please help time sensitive.

I have tried to install the free adobe PDF reader about 7 times and I cannot get it to work on my new Surface with windows 11. It seems to install correctly but whenever I try to open it, the mouse just spins and spins -  it looks like Adobe is open on the toolbar but there I cannot actually see any Adobe window or get a window to come up. Has anyone had this issue? How do I solve it? 

hey gang  i own a macbook pro retina mid 2012operate macos catalina version 10.15.7have an active subscription to adobe creative cloud version 5.6.5.58and run adobe acrobat reader dc from my dock suddenly to my surprise todayi can't open any pdf filesall i get is the spinning wheeli have no option other than force quit all software checked for updates todayprevious versions sent to trashi've logged out and restarted  same pdf's can be opened with apple previewproblem is i can't sign and send themi'm completely stuck any feedback greatly appreciatedbtw is there any way to call adobe directly ? thankskurt   

I think it STINKS that we must pay $15 monthly just to rotate a page. That is all I have to say.

Hello! I would like to get my money back for an annual subscription. I couldn't turn it off in the Play Market. For Russia, this amount is significant.

When trying to print pdfs, the job would be displayed on my laptop, indicating "connecting to printer" then "connected to printer". On the printer's display it would indicated "documented printing". Nothing happens. At times, even that last message on the printer display would fade away, the job as such still being shown on the laptop as being processed.Visibly, no other jobs are in the queue. Only happens to pdfs, MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel data all printed quickly. Only happens since last update of Adobe acrobat, never experienced before.  operating system Mac Book Air mOS Catalina 10.15.2 (19C57). Adobe Reader Version updated to 2019.021.20058. Printer Proxy 15 (571). All drivers updated as available as per 26 Jan 2020. Complete printer system reset + reconnection to router + migration to latest software updates already done.  Thanks for any help. Bea

Hi, (deutsch unten)when somebody has a system that opens pdf files in a browser, you can tell a browser to open a specific page of that file by adding a "#page=" and the page number behind the ".pdf".But that doesn't work in any of the Adobe software I tried out. If I open a fileinfo.pdf#file=4then the Adobe software behaves as if onlyinfo.pdfwas given. What parameters does Adobe software need to open a specific page? thanks! Deutsch funktioniert hier im Forum wohl schlecht. I have a client who uses Reader to print PDFs. The PDFs are getting scaled rather than printing at actual size. I can't seem to find the ACTUAL SIZE setting in the Reader print dialog.  Is there a way around this?  

Hi, i tried to install asian font pack with DC 2021.x version  in my mac and use for Adobe acrobat pro dc continuous version 2021.011.20039When font pack was in installed process, it appear that "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 21.1.20135 or later must be installed before proceeding with this installation" it cant installed in my acrobat pro, please help advise, thanks 

A few days ago I suddenly became  unable to view pdfs. I can view them if I set the default app to microsoft edge, but this does not allow me to create pds from illustrator.I have uninstalled and reinstalled adobe reader DC twice and set it to default app adn I keep getting error messages when trying to create new pdf out of illustrator and when trying to view old pdfs already saved in my files. It will not open pdfs received by emailWhen I try to lauch reader from the start menu I get this:Can anyone tell me what on earth is going on please? I can't do my work and I get paid near minimum wage by the hour!!!Thank you

I did not create hyperlinks in my InDesign layouts, yet my client gets live URL hyperlinks in the PDFs that I send to them. It is my understanding that I have to create those hyperlinks in InDesign (the hyperlinks palette), then check the option to include hyperlinks when exporting my InDesign file to create a PDF. We can't figure this out. When I open my hyperlinks palette in InDesign, it is blank; no hyperlinks. And when I view the same PDF that she views, my URLs are not live links. She is a PC user and I am Mac. Anyone know what is causing her to see live links?

I can not open a particular pdf file in Adobe Acrobat reader DC but that file can be open in other pdf reader app. that file can also open in browser. I have also attached that file for your reference, (which is the bill of my HDFC credit card). I have also updated the Adobe Acrobat reader DC, but still the problem is not solved.           (Sensitive file removed by moderator)
