Acrobat Reader

Hello, In acrobat reader it is possible to show or hide the menu for quick tools. But there are no possibilities in the interface to choose different tools in the menu. Will there be a way to unlock this point with a registry key ? > to configure one tool instead of another. I would like to replace the signature tool with the signature with a certificate. Have you an idea ?Regards,

I emailed a pdf and I was able to see the images in chromebook browser navigation. I can also see the images on the pdf from my phone, but when I download the pdf and open with adobe acrobat the images appear for a split second and then dissappear.  I am trying to figure out how I can see those images on adobe.I have already checked the show large images but nothing changed.  I have also logged out and logged back into adobe. I have rebooted the laptop. I have the most up to date version.

"There have been too many attempts to print to an invalid printer. Printing is now temporarily blocked. Contact support with reference ID 'BLK-002518' for assistance." I am on macOS 10.14.6.Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2021.001.20155.I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat hoping it would work. I have been blocked from printing and I'm really hoping someone seeing this community post has the answer as the internet so far doesn't. For reference, I'm mainly using it to print coupons that are not to be replicated so once they're printed the file cannot be opened a second time. Also if it helps, I have noticed that when printing in the last month, a good amount of the time after confirming to print, it will not send through to my printer and I would have to print it again. Hope someone here know's the solution to this. Thank you in advance 🙂

I have a big problem with Acrobat Reader DC.I have a file which is signed with an Austrian Official Signature (PadES).Visually there is a table embedded in the file, but the table isn’t shown by Acrobat Reader DC.In other viewers (e.g. MS edge, google chrome) the table is visible. If you close the file, Acrobat Reader asks whether you want to save the file. Why? I didn’t change anything. Is there a bug in Acrobat Reader DC?

Please help. On opening Acrobat Reader DC, it says "Invalid plugin detected. Adobe Reader will quit". How to fix this?

I don't know what exactly was changed in the latest update, but it's now taking a whopping 2 minutes to start the reader. That's way beyond acceptable.I took the advice from another post and disabled your 'enhanced security' and 'start in protected mode'. And lo and behold: it suddenly starts without any noticeable delay.I recommend you revisit your security settings. As is, they're unusable.

Hello, as you can see I have this problem with my PDF documents. Everytime I try to work in the document this pixels apear. I can't finde any bugfixes in the Internet. Do you have any clue what I can do against it?Thank you

Hello everyone,, I'd like a PDF viewer where you can have multiple PDFs open in the same window. I would also like to then be able to ctrl+f and search for keywords through all of the PDFs https://speedtest.vet/ https://vidmate.bid/ https://wordtopdf.ltd/.Thanks.  

Had some problems with my computer, so I did a refresh - which deletes certain programs. The refresh fixed my problems, but when I try to install Acrobat Reader (one of the programs the refresh deleted), the install goes through it all then says I already have a newer version and quits. Refresh creates a hidden folder of useless files it deletes, but these files are unusable. But it seems Adobe's installer finds these and refuses to install at all. I have tried specifying the installer, that does not work either. I tried deleting the Adobe files from the refresh but some are locked and unrecoverable. My last option is to find another PDF reader, so if no one can help with my install issues, I will also take other PDF reader recommendations.

I've noticed the Adobe Account Access sign in request several times when my Reader DC (up to date) is not active.  The signin request notes timeout as the cause for action.  Now I see that it appeared this time after bootup from W10 Hibernate (also up to date).  Is this action normal even though no PDFs were open at the tiime of Hibernate?  Thx Regards, Charles

When I try to open my PDF files, I am getting this error message:Adobe Acrobat Reader DC quit unexpectedly.How do I fix this. 

I use a CURL script that fetches the latest Adobe reader version and installs it as we install Adobe reader on all of our computers. The script works fine as it always fetched the latest version. however the CURL part that does the downloaded always gets stuck going extremely slow.  (We get 300mbps) Not sure if the FTP server is just limited to >400kbps.  Or if it's a problem with my script? Anyone else have this issue?

I'm looking to see if there is a fix to a problem with a form that needs to be signed but multiple people (3). When you use the fill and sign option after sending the form all of the date fields are locked or not functional. The next two signers are not able to edit the form to add a date. Both people have Acrobat reader only.Is it possible not to have the form go read-only automatically after signing?

Hi! I have a document in which i can see the signature if I open it in the browser. However, once I download it, the signature dissapears, and the place, where it is supposed to be a signature, says that If I want to add signature; which is weird because the document should have already a signature. There you can download the file.I will be very pleased, because I'm in an application process so I need that signature. thanks you very much!

This reader version has all the DC Pro tools on show in an expanded bar on the right every time I open a new document. Is there a way to prevent this from always showing up expanded when a new document is opened? Most of these buttons do not work since this is the reader view, only Comment that I can see.  I notice on the Pro version, which I have on a work computer, that this tools menu is minimised when I open a new document. thank you

 I was sent a pdf file from SARS now I am not able to download it to view because on the user verification on pdf reader it does not accept my details and I tried using the same ones I use to log in Adobe

While Updating from Adobe Reader XI 11.0.10 MUI to Adobe Reader XI 11.0.23 MUI the update installation failed with "The upgrade Patch cannot be installed by the windows installer service because the program upgraded may be missing or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct patch" The Update has redownloaded and also re-installed it but it still fails. Disabled AV but it still fails.What can i do to fix this issue?

After installing Acrobat Reader 2020, the start menu shortcut from the previous installed version of Reader (2017) is still found in the start menu. Is the Reader 2020 installer expected to remove the Reader 2017 start menu shortcut? This does not occur if the base version of Reader 2017 (17.008.30051) is installed prior to installing Reader 2020. Steps to reproduce:1. Install Windows 10 Enterprise.2. For the past 2 days, I've been working on a PDF and regularly saving and re-opening it. Last night I saved it, as usual, but this morning, when I tried to open it again, I got the following error message: "Acrobat Reader DC could not open [filename] because it is eithere not a supported file type of because the file has been damaged (e.g., it was sent as an attachment and wasn't properly decoded). I tried opening a previous version but was told there are no previous versions available. Thanks.

I can open a .PDF created on an apple computer in Safari or Adobe or Chrome on the Mac, but these files will not open in Windows, again in Chrome or in Adobe or Acrobat.It seems the OS formatting is getting in the way, but I haven't yet found a way to get to open in Windows.  I have tried Fusion on the Mac, where under Windows it will not open, but under Apple OS, it does open, just fine. Has anyone else found a solution to this problem?
